Ah you're right, I misread your post, sorry. I don't think there's anything that works right now. Personally I am hoping for a replacement/update for GridIndicatorCornerPlus.

Hi, thrilled to have Grid updated, but there are a couple issues I'm having still. I use GridSideIndicators (it almost seems like that particular plugin is so old that there isn't even a place to download it), and it definitely doesn't seem to be working with the 6.0.2 update. I also can't seem to change any of my indicator settings at all anymore. Is it interference from that older plugin?

I don't want to use icons anywhere but the center of each healthbar, so the SideIcons plugins don't seem to be what I need (unless they can also do the simple colored box on the sides).

    Any help is appreciated!

You could get rid of GridSideIndicators and try the new GridIndicatorExtra, which was announced 4 posts above yours.

posted a message on Some AddOns just... gone?
It's because they're marked as "abandoned" (probably automatically). They still exist, but abandoned projects don't show up in search results on the site. Try Googling for "wowace ratingbuster", you'll find the page and it'll come up just fine.

Well, somehow the addon (Scorchio was the one in question) got changed back to Release status from Inactive. Don't think it was the manager, as he hasn't logged into WowAce since July. Dunno if it was someone reading this thread (thanks if so), or if it's been automated?

Well, in my case, I have maintainer access, but not manager access. So I cannot change the status back.

And yeah, the inactive thing was kinda crazy. In no way were a lot of these addons inactive.

If an addon gets marked as inactive, and I then check in and tag a new release, does its status ever get changed back automatically? So far, doesn't seem to be happening.

If not, the whole thing seems like a major problem for those of us who maintain addons where the original authors/managers aren't really around anymore. (Although maybe inactive doesn't really mean much, since it doesn't seem to be stopping it from being available on Curse...)

Since it doesn't seem like Zeksie has been around much in a year+, it seems like there's a good chance Utopia will never be updated for 4.0+.

Does anyone know of any alternatives? Something like Utopia seems like a pretty critical tool to have for high-end raiding.

I posted the fix to this one in the comments section of X-Perl's page here. Fix 5 function calls in XPerl_Target.lua and also make sure the LibGroupTalent and LibTalentQuery that you're using (whatever mod is providing it, looks like it ends in "alBot" in your paste above) are up-to-date.

Alternatively you might be able to just turn off talent inspection in X-Perl for now.

Thanks for the tip, GridStatusAurasExt works great and is a lot more configurable than GridStatusMissingBuffs was.

As far as what libbykino posted (and after putting some thought into this while configuring GridStatusAurasExt on my chars), I don't think it's worth checking for Fel Intelligence for a mage, or Commanding Shout/Blood Pact/Qiraji Fortitude(?) on a priest. The reason is that those things may be lost during combat...pets die, warriors forget to re-shout, etc. You should be casting the buffs on everyone before going into combat, even if those other things do happen to be up before combat begins.

edit: on a semi-related note, any chance of an update for GridStatusAFK? Or does anyone know of an alternate way to achieve what GridStatusAFK did?

Bar textures seem to be working a bit weird with 3.3.3, not surprising since many other mods have this problem now as well (Quartz just put in some fix for it tonight).

On my bars, I use the X-Perl 3 texture and beyond a certain point on, for example, my own health bar, it sort of loses the texture and just looks strange. It's very easy to see this problem if you select the Blizzard texture, then you will see some color gradients.

edit: it's a bit weird, sometimes doesn't show up until you reloadui.

edit2: may only show up if you have "extra width" on. and possible explanation:

It's a game bug, not caused by any addon.
