    Well, the way it's looking currently, I'll be playing Aion/Borderlands till at least when Cataclysm comes out. If it's still working now, let's hope it works till then, when I might start playing again =P. Anyone familiar with the last 10 pages of this thread will say I'm crying wolf, and that might be right, but hey. WoW gets boring >_>

    I have to give credit and thanks here! Mikk and Dridzt have picked up here and there, as well as [Ammo] doing a preliminary port to Ace3. Though likely, as alluded to above, I'd move to a much thinner, functional set of addons.

    This shambling monster is still alive, and that kindof scares me. From the looks of tickets, it's finally coming to a stumbling stop, though.

    What parts of this are still used, aside from the core, that I need to re-write? Monitor? There's better alternatives for Group and Master, afaik...

    You could always use the custom menu item.. Just hook the InjectCustom function in XLM (Search the main lua file, refer to dewdrop documentation and comment above function).

    History is rather easy, there's tables stored (Messily and incorrectly, but that's how they were originally written...) at the top of Monitor. Or you could implement a proper one simply using SpecialEvents-Loot, or just posthook the assignment function and remember assignments.

    Let's go through the list.

    I hacked the stack system to hell to let both Monitor and Group use it.
    If I'm going to re-write monitor I'm going to depricate anchorsaway.
    I didn't implement things in group I wanted to - It'd mean more hacking up anchorsaway.
    Teksloot is much smaller, simpler, and in the end, more functional.

    Xedriell: The <0.9 versions of everything work together. I haven't released 1.0, which is pictured above.

    The modules (Monitor, whatnot) depend on the 0.9 core for functions and embeds, that's why they don't work with 1.0.


    You don't have to worry about anything not working right now unless you specifically download the alpha.

    I'm using oUF with my own layout.

    I want to get xloot itself released (With perhaps a "nucleus" repack on each plugin, so they work without the old one), before I go re-writing anything else. I will not be re-writing group ever, though. Monitor/history will likely get a re-write, and master will simply get re-packaged because it works and isn't so hackish

    jokeyrhyme: Not really... 1.0 was actually made for different layouts, but that was geared to the whole frame: Without a skin, the loot wouldn't even show up.

    It ends up that that it was a pretty useless code divide, and I need to merge it back. Perhaps I can change the skin() function I've re-written, or allow it to be overridden, as it's much simpler now.



    That's how it's supposed to look, though the frame is not sized properly and the bind text isn't showing right. The problem is occasionally the border doesn't apply on and near the corners of each frame, or doesn't seem to apply at all - All without changing a character.
