Thanks everyone who's reported on this :) It seems like a official bug, everyone's been having it. For now what I'm going to do is add another check to see if the frame should close after it's updated. That SHOULD catch it, unless GetNumLootItems() is not returning right.

New version is up, first post link. New feature: Dropdown option menu when border is right-clicked, or when buttons are alt-right-clicked. Does NOT include fix for ghosting bar yet.

some features i'd like to see:

-highlighting the whole item area (including the text) kinda like how the Auction House or easymailsystem does it.
    - and a small loot all button next the close. (if its even possible of course)

and does XLoot plan on adding features/interface to group loot and master loot?

    And

Incorporate EasyMasterLoot-type functions. (i.e., when masterlooting an item, have the dropdown sorted by class, rather than group. (or either one, as selectable.)

Highlighting: I can work on this. Thanks for the suggestion =)

Loot all isn't possible. Only clicks on LootButton type frames can loot a item, and then only one per click.

For now EasyMasterLoot should work fine, if it doesn't, tell me and I'll fix my code up so it does =)
If you have any more ideas for a modification to the ML distribution system, tell me and I'll keep it in mind if I add that to XLoot :)

Sorry for a stupid question which one is the newest version?

elvendawn is right. The latest version is at the bottom, with the most recent timestamp (23:35 vs 16:03) and the most recent SVN commit number (11452). This holds true for all addons distributed this way :)

Highlighting is really nice idea but the all loot is useless since you can shift+right click ... ninja button :S

Nice to see you around ;)

Also! My warrior is a fairly inadequate example of XLoot no matter how much I like her, so if you have any in-game shots of XLoot in action, go ahead and post them with your suggestions, I'll need some when submitting it to worldofwar/wowui/the works.

    Thanks for the suggestion, implimented.

New version, visit the svn link in the first post =)

    Feature additions-
qualityborder - Color frame borders by highest quality item (Thanks, Varuna)
dragborder - Allow dragging of frame with border (Vagabond)
collapse - Fixed disabled mode. Now mimics default lootframe with only one snap
Frame and loot now close with esc (Thanks, Tekkub!)

Vagabond: If lock is off, you can drag it. Unless you turn cursor off as well, it will snap back with everything looted.

You drag it by dragging the buttons. They are triggered OnRelease, and OnRelease isn't triggered if OnDragStart is triggered first. So just drag the loot itself, I'll make the frame draggable in the next build.

Elp: Update PerfectTargets and HostelBar. Both latest versions work perfectly fine with XLoot :)

You might want to sign onto irc.freenode.net #wowace and update your Ace2 mods. Files is way behind, it's been disabled for the moment. :)

Big thanks to you, Greywind ! First post updated =)

I'll post any improvements here in zips, then :) Thanks a bunch.

SoLoR: SVN is coming as soon as I'm granted access.

    Taz:
Thanks for testing it out :)

Elp: After clearing XLoot SV's, installing PRaid from SVN ( http://www.matts-hosting.com/addons/root/trunk/PerfectRaid/ ), I had no problems setting praid on standby. I'll try to replicate this problem, but either a list of your addons, or you going through and dis/enabling a few of them at a time till errors crop up would greatly help me. If there's a conflict, I'd like to get it solved :)

mrfreeman: After a XLoot SV clear, it loaded up fine for me, perhaps I changed something small in 0.3.3 that fixed initial startups :)

There's a new version up, please see the first post!

Oh bah, FlareCDE. It's still 2am! I swear!

[me=Xuerian]waits for his server to come back up so he can test... [/me]

** Bug fixed for next version: Initialization of color settings was done before oSkin, keeping the oSkinned version from being colored.

mrfreeman: Are you using any other addons that deal with the lootframe?

Elp: I'm trying to see what's up, if you have BugSack please post the entire error stack. I'll test with praid myself.

FruityLoots only re-positions the cursor at the next loot item when the window is opened or something is looted, and does this well.

XLoot re-makes the loot frame and (optionally) does everything listed right here under the "What it does" heading.

    **EDIT: Actual link. Grr. Links.**

Haha, well that's perfect! Note to self, when submitting things at 2am, check linkies.

    Main download link updated.

As for oSkin, it is not a dependancy. XLoot is also not a replacement for oSkin in any way. It checks if oSkin is loaded, and if it is and the option is enabled, will skin it's window with that texture. Color changes also affect the oSkinned version.

FruityLoots was a great help to me with my positioning code, too, it works almost exactly the same except in smart mode, where it will only move the frame vertically (Since the entire row is clickable), keeping it from jumping around the screen.

Now that you can actually download it <cough> any suggestions or requests you have are welcome. :)

    Therefor my suggestion is:
    - PARTY / RAID ADDONS (oRA, BigWigs, ag_UnitFrames, PerfectRaid, Squishy, Detox, HealWatch,...)
    - CLASS SPECIFIC ADDONS (GotWood, SwiftShift, Cyclone, Druidcom,...)
    - INTERFACE / LAYOUT ADDONS (Bartender, BattleChat, Clique, FuBar, idChat, OneBag, TinyTip)
    - NON-COMBAT / TRADESKILL ADDONS (BagBoy, ClockFu, MoneyFu, DurabilityFu, ToFu,...)

We won't even really need subforums in the class specific addons board - I think we currently have less than 20 class specific addons with active discussion in total.

    QFT =)

As for the wiki, it's a great idea. Really. It's just not going to work for a community. There's no feeling of interaction. :) For static addon info it'll work just fine. But stifled community spirit is stifled innovation. People getting together rapidly means faster development of ideas imho. :)

I'm also getting Firiel's error, and it's at the first time it references Babbel-Spell-2.0's translation table. Detox from SVN also throws a error the first time it references the translation table.
