A reload didn't work, I had to EXIT, not just reload, hence why I said it didn't take with just a reload. =P

    New error too:

No I want Skinner on lol, just don't want it skinning my achievement alerts. It just required me to exit game and reenter, for some reason it didn't take with just a reload. For those who might have the same problem, uncheck "UI Alerts" in Character Frames section.

Hey my achievement alerts are all whacked, and I haven't done testing to see if its Skinner (haven't thought about it when I'm in an instance lol). Just curious where I can turn that off to test if its Skinner. Didn't happen until 3.3, so I'm not sure if its Overachiever (which I do not skin with Skinner), Skinner, or something on Blizzard's end.

Oh, I have big blue text in my raid warning frame (not actually a raid warning, just in the frame), not in my chat frame, unless I'm lead then of course it announces it in the /rw channel. I think that is customizable, as in you can choose to have it in your chat frame or not. But just thought I'd throw that out there! I <3 RBS.

    Quote from Kerecha

And for the "notimportant stuff" i have stuff like mage's portals (nice to know where to and who made it and for how long it will be there, saves a lot of trips to theramore :p) and tables. Also have scap/repair bots and jeeves showing there as an extra "hey its up use it" alert.
As far as those showing there is just for conveniance/lazyness and a OCD for uniformity of displays. Nomatter what addon i get for it won't look exactly the same as the "bossmod" display, or show in the same place without risk of overlaps.

Have you tried RaidBuffStatus for the announcements of bots and tables? Its nice because it can announce to you or to the raid/party (if you're lead) and it announces when they are about to expire. Just a thought, if you really don't want or need the bars in your display.

Also, I searched this thread for the information, so I apologize if I am just brain dead and missed it, is there a way to announce timers like DBM with a shift+click (or other mouse/key combination)? If there is not, would you consider adding it? Its nice when I'm moving or tanking and I can't really say anything in vent, or when you're in someplace like Ony where vent isn't necessary to still announce when there's a Deep Breath coming. That's about the only thing from DBM I miss with this mod, and the only thing keeping me from switching to it on my DPS (with whom I lead raids more often). Thanks for a great mod!

I actually looked this up once, and only something like 40 states in the US have specific laws against necrophilia. The more you know.....

Thankfully I live in a state that has those laws! =D

Hi, can you skin HeadCount, both the main GUI and the loot popup that appears when someone receives loot while you have the /hc loot popup option set to on?

Yeah I was afraid of that. I used Ensidia before, and I just like the streamlinedness (is that a word?) of the Recount version. I dislike having multiple mods for functionality when I can have it in one. And I don't need all the fancy schmancy stuff that Ensidia does, but I'll use it in the meantime. Thanks for the input!

    posted a message on Recount
Hi, I came to ask a probably silly question about RecountFailBot, and got sidetracked by the interesting discussion a few pages back. Consequently, my time is rapidly running out, so I'm going to post this rather than search for the possibly obvious answer.

The FailBot module doesn't count failing on Ony's Deep Breath, and possibly some things in ToC (although i'm not sure on that). I know that it is based off LibFailBot1.0, which hasn't been updated since April, so probably doesn't include anything new like ToC (although I'm unsure it would have included Ony's original Deep Breath, and whether if it did that should also see her new Deep Breath). Is there another way to get fail functionality into Recount? Another library, and updated version of LibFailBot that I'm not seeing here or on Curse? I like the fail bot mods, but I really need the ease of use of Recount, where I can at a glance see these things, without all the bells and whistles of those other mods taking up my space. Any help would be appreciated, thanks so much.

    UI Buttons not skinned:
ACP addons buttons in ESC menu and in ACP frame
    Postal buttons (mail frame)
    Recount (inside the config menu)
All the buttons in the "Interface > Addons" menus
    bankitems
    Altoholic

    Skin request:
    AnnounceIt (tooltip and frame)
    Loot Master +1 (AKA PlusOneTable)
    Macro Broker
Highlight the local bag search tool (the search bar below the bags would look better skinned)
Greed Beacon (tooltip that pops up)
    TinyPad
Volumizer (right click frame is still not skinned, and I have put its skin in the folder)

Question: is it possible to skin the slots of the default Blizzard bags using Skinner or another mod? I use Button Facade for my action bars, but that doesn't do it for the default bags.

Thank you so much! I didn't even realize that the "VisibleRegion" needed to be the one you wanted to show/hide. Makes so much more sense! Now I think I'll be able to use that programming site a little better too. Many many many thanks. Need a gold donation? I'll be happy to make a dk on your server and donate my whole beginning questlines money to you for you help! Thanks so much again. Really!

So one more question then, in what respect would you want to use Show()/Hide() rather than the alpha? Would that be more for OnEvent rather than OnEnter/Leave?

Ok, sorry for this, I'm sure I'm a huge PITA, but I tried both this:

    OnEnter
    self:Show()
    self:VisibleRegion:SetAlpha(1)

    and this

    OnEnter
    self:Show()
    VisibleRegion:SetAlpha(1)

And their OnLeave opposites, and neither of them work, they have the exact problem that they do not reappear. Also tried with the alpha settings 1 and 0 reversed, just in case I misread. The second (without the self: in front of the VisibleRegion) throws an error (below). I am sorry I'm so retarded about this, but it shouldn't be this hard. How difficult would it be to simply add an option to panels to have them hide/show on mouseover, since this script is apparently to hard for me! LOL, sorry for being frustrated, I've read all sorts of this thread, and the link you provided, and I can't get it work no matter what I try, and worse, I can't understand WHY it won't work, which is the worst part of this for me. I have acute OCD and I need to understand things, and there doesn't seem to be rhyme nor reason to this.

posted a message on Duration left on durational items?
Hi, I'm trying to write an addon that will add the duration left to the icon of durational items, but I can't find out how to get that information. It shows in the tooltips (Duration: 1 day or whatever) but I can't seem to figure out how to call it. Any help is appreciated, I'm teaching myself and its going ridiculously slowly. (Bad grammar ftl.) Thanks in advance.

I think that WoW understands it has a good thing in the mod community, and I don't think they will take that away lightly. If only because they can cull so many good ideas to half-assedly implement into the game....
