No, IHML will never be able to swap in a macro only in certain coordinates. Subzones will have to do.

Added macros for Know Your Ley Lines.

    Changed the Dawning Square to:
    #showtooltip [dead] item:34414; item:34533
/use [dead] Shattered Sun Banner; Astromancer's Crystal

This way target the dead Emissary to use the banner, otherwise it will use the crystal.

    edit:
nvm... forgot that you didn't need to have the emissary targeted to use the banner...

*note to self: don't write macros after just getting up*

Loving this, I was lamenting having to make a whole new bar for dailies & swapping them all the time =)

Noticed a slight issue last night on Brutallus, as I wanted to set a macro for him. Unfortunately, the area inside where he is, is also listed as The Dead Scar as such there's some swapping back & forth of macros. Think it'd be possible to add some more limiters like instance/non-instance or something?
I'd love to see super zone checking as well. Also perhaps the ability to check inventory/equipped items for an item before showing a macro (this way you can set say the oshi'gun reading goggles on nagrand, spirit fields, and oshi'gun so they show in all cases.

You could also do some quest checking too and not show an item for a quest you've completed (thus allowing you to make multiple macros to show multiple quest items in the same area (the sso flag and the scrying crystal come to mind here on the isle of quel'danas)

Hmm. I know I had some reason for putting /use and /equip in the order I did. I just don't remember it now :P
I'll do some tests next time I'm at the Spirit Fields to see which version's best.
The Throne of Kil'jaeden macro has been updated. But it has #showtooltip item:34259 which is the itemid for the Demonic Blood. This way the actionbar will show how many Demonic Blood you have so you know how many times you can use your Fel Siphon.
If you've made any changes to the macro you'll have to remove it and click "Reinsert default macros" to get the default version back.

Huh? Maybe it's just my action bar, but when I put the fel siphon on my hotbar I get a charge counter (like vanish or any of the warlock abilities that use a soulshard etc)

edit: Bug. If you hearth in a zone where you have a special macro, it will not switch macro's back to the default macro (or any other macro). You need to manually change it, or go to another zone where you have a special macro via normal means. Should be easily correctable by checking zone information when you hearth :P

    Default Spirit Field macro change:

    #showtooltip item:35233
    /equip Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles
    /use Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles

by putting the equip line first you remove the error message of "you must have the item equipped to do that"

Fel Siphon macro for throne of kil'jaeden was never updated to an item id (at least not on my end). Item id for the siphon is 34257

    Suggestion:

With 2.4 they've changed how the #showtooltip statement works. It will now show information on something regardless of being seen if it encounters an item id rather than a name.

    For example:

#Showtooltip Master Healthstone will only show an icon and information if you've seen a master healthstone that session

    On the other hand:

#showtooltip item:22105 will ALWAYS show the icon and information so long as it's been seen by the server at least once since restart.

Personally I think this would be a nice change on the default macros (gets rid of the ugly ? icon when your in an area but don't have the item).

edit: Can't for the life of me find the patch note on this anymore, but it does indeed work (test it for yourself if you don't believe me :P)

posted a message on Is there a way to 'group' cart nodes?
Exactly like the title says, I'm looking for a way to group together nodes on the minimap that have the same spawn locations (mainly adamantite/rich adamantite and fel iron/khorium).

The issue is that a lot of times the two seperate nodes for each ore node get separated by a little bit. What this causes, as I'm sure most of you are aware, are 2 or more overlapping circles, but because they're different nodes cleanup doesn't get rid of them.

I can't just shut one off because not all adamantite nodes have rich adamantite node counterparts, and vice versa (same for fel iron and khorium).

What I'm looking for is something that does more or less what cart_cleanup does, but instead of deleting similar nodes, it will move similar nodes which are known to share spawns with other types so that they appear at the same exact location (thus removing the two separate circles).

This should be relatively easy to implement if it hasn't been already, and should be fairly accurate given that there is usually some non-trivial distance between two nodes (ie. you won't find an adamantite node and a rich adamantite node right next to each other unless they're the same node).

Does something like this exist already and I'm just missing it in WAU?

You can use keybinds to acess the "default" bags.

And if you use bartender3 u can still show the "bag" bar to get easy acess to changeing bags.
Not at all what I was talking about.

    Advanced bags is a mod.

It is an interface that looks like the default bag bar/replaces it where you can customize each bag to open a specific virtual bag.

Nargiddley, were there still plans on implementing some form of bag buttons similar to that of advanced bags?

Does the tablet/tooltip not open your bags for you? When you hover over the baggins plugin icon, you get a list of your bags. You can then click on which bag you want to open.
Again... I despise fubar tooltips to open my bags. I'd ask you to go read what I'm talking about first (http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=4055.msg131748#msg131748).

Having to move my mouse all the way to a fubar icon, hover over it, find the set virtual bag I'm looking for, and then click it is far more complex than just clicking the bag.

I use baggins with bartender3. Bartender3 does give me the default bag bar and I can easily swap inventory bags even while using baggins. To swap bank bags I have to allow the default bank window to show (a baggins option) and can then swap bags and buy new slots.

Not the feature I'm requesting :P Think my post is on page 27 or so. Looking for a bar that I can bind certain BAGGINS bags to in order to open just that bag without having to go through the right click menu. Narg had mentioned he was adding it at some point, and I was looking for an update on if it was still a WIP or if it was not going to be coming soon :P

As for who to ask on IRC try sending a /msg to Kaelten, he should know what's up, or at the very least be able to point you to who you need to talk to about it.

posted a message on Table sorting question.
Again, I'm aware its not efficient, and it's been changed in my working copy for a while now :P

What I was getting at is that, for the most part, it would only be run once or twice per login, and given what the addon does, there is absolutely no reason for it to be run say 100 times in a single session. Of course this doesn't give me a reason to not change the code (which was already planned before you mentioned anything btw), but you DID kind of blow it out of proportion :P It's not like it's sitting in a function that's called every few seconds. It's run only a few times per login, so it isn't anything devastatingly important to fix right away, and as such it's just sitting in my working copy until my next commit :P
