Mmm, that sucks...you don't have a target or your target has no raid icon? Try changing targets...does it go away?

Or, do you have any custom settings on your TargetHealth bar? Maybe try un-checking the "show raid icon" checkbox under the TargetHealth module in /icehud settings and re-checking it. I'll see if I can reproduce with reset settings.

It reflects the current target and actively updates, I've tried toggling the icon on and off and moving it. Haven't customized anything in probably months and I think mostly all I changed last time I did do something (back before you picked this up) it was to turn combo points off (I use the HUD to supplement unit frames, not replace). I can send you my saved variables file and a list of what's enabled on the toon I've noticed this on (can check others and prune some out probably) but my add-on stable is huge and don't want to spam the forums. :-P

Getting an orphaned raid icon floating a hair above the top of the bars and a bit to the left. Just looked in my saved variables file, there's almost nothing in there and nothing referencing raid icons. Don't know the specific revision it showed up in, but it's been in the last couple days to maybe a week. Not sure what specific information you want, but let me know and I can try and post it. :-)

Can you elaborate a bit? From your description, If I am understanding correctly, when you open the mailbox, you had this:

    [X] Mail 1
    [X] Mail 2
    [ ] Mail 3
    [ ] Mail 4
    [ ] Mail 5
    [ ] Mail 6
    [ ] Mail 7
    Page 1

You checked the first 2 mails to open, and Postal opened Mail 2, then Mail 1, then Mail 3 (which is an auction sold, and has then slid up to Mail 1's position)? I'm not quite sure what the problem is, as your description isn't very clear.

Yeah, sorry about that. I tried simplifying things down but then stuff got left out and I was rather tired. What you described is more or less what I was getting at, it's occasionally opening money-only mail (not just auction sold, it's grabbed outbid mails too). I think it's tending to incorrectly open the non-selected money mails after the one right above them gets opened (so in your case 2,3,1), but I'm not entirely certain. Hard to conveniently set up the ordering of mail to test, but I'll try and watch closer next time I do my usual AH scan/mail fussing on my mule. Times I saw it happen before I posted it was just one mail getting affected, but I'd cleared out most of the outbid/auction sold mails by that point - it's possible this can happen multiple times in one "Open" session, with each time catching the new next money-only mail down the list, at least that seems logical given the number of mails that I couldn't find afterwards (again, no money lost far's I can tell), however as the times I've seen so far have only been single cases I can't vouch for it so it may well be just a once-per Open batch thing.

posted a message on Postal (was GMail2): Updated
So mostly-harmless-but-very-annoying behavior I've finally managed to catch in action in the last few days. Apologies if this is posted or whatnot elsewhere, I skimmed this thread a bit and tried a few quick searches but there're enough different ways to describe this problem I didn't feel like rummaging through every thread on the boards...

Mail isn't getting deleted far's I can tell, but it's getting improperly opened. For example, just went to open some more mail on my AH mule I hadn't had room for when I first logged on. Selected the first two mails, hit "Open". Third mail, right after those two, was an Auction Sold for something I'd forwarded from an alt (I use my mule as a central AH point for stuff I price on auto-pilot and I like to keep my alts' finances separate so I don't just "Open All" my AH mail). Postal finishes opening, there're messages for the two items I'd told Postal to open, but the third mail down the list, which I *hadn't* told Postal to open, was also opened and gone. I had the money, AuditorFu confirmed that much and I'd heard the $ sound flying past, but Postal hadn't said anything about opening it and I hadn't told it to open it in either case.

Not sure if this affects "Open All" but it for certain is affecting "Open", catching some mails the user (me) hasn't told it to open. At least that I've seen it only affects mail with money, but that may well be due to the fact that's most of what I deal with on the AH mule other than outbid/cancelled auction refunds (I use Postal on my other toons but the volume's small enough I single-open). Also not sure if it's something interfering with Postal, but even if it is figured it was worth posting so the conflict (if there is one) could be at least identified if not fixed... :-)

Hope that explanation makes sense, I'd offer to post screenshots or something but what there is to see is in-action and not something that could be caught with still images.

    *****

Edit - Clarification, this affects both auction won mails as well as outbids. Probably auction cancelled bid refunds as well, but that isn't as easy to check.

Last handful of revisions (last week or so I think? thereabouts) IceHUD's been chewing up an enormous amount of memory (taking and keeping memory, not base memory). Seen it get up to 10MiB. What changed recently that could have cause this? Mildly annoying... :-P

I'm using Abacus to do the money formatting. I think it can do the formatting you ask for. That is, a short text format without zero-suppression. I will look into that. It will not be exactly like Cola Light though. It will look something like

    Sells for (5 x 1.00.00) 5.00.00

It was the number formatting (coloration and lack of g/s/c/coins) I'm hoping for, not the precise arrangement of said numbers. If you can do that with the coloration that would be super. :-)

posted a message on CowTip 2.0
Posting this mini bug report here and in the Curse "Pawn" page since I don't know which is the real "problem child"...

I'll spare the long lead-in explanation and jump to the test environment one. With just Pawn ad Cowtip (and CowTip's dependencies which I disembed) enabled I get some rather obnoxious behavior. When I go from mousing over an item to mousing over an empty inventory spot I get Pawn complaining about "ERROR: Failed to find name of item on the hidden tooltip". Pawn by itself does not cause the problem. Don't know if CowTip does, Pawn's the only thing I've got that complains on this error so was using it to see when it happened. Also had that spammed when talking to vendors but that was with my full stable of add-ons enabled. My guess is that in the vendor scenario (with all add-ons enabled) some add-on or another was scanning my inventory from the first inventory slot to the last and popping the error every time it hit an empty spot after an item.

Again, don't know which of the two is causing the problem, but since I narrowed it down to being repeatable (and provably so) with just these two figured I'd post in both locations. (Hence me not sticking it up on the BugTracker since I don't know which one it is. Also, if it's of note, the error with just Pawn and CowTip showing up showed up both when I had my personalized CowTip and after I deleted my WTF file for CowTip and did a fresh "Reinstall" via WAU.)

    Styling question/request...

Been using ColaLight for a long time (yes I know it was discontinued, I'll explain), but noticed it seemed to be lagging me talking to vendors while trying to track down a hidden tooltip bug and decided to give another go-round at comparing item pricing add-ons. Maybe I'm a bit strange, but I fell in love with one of ColaLight's price formatting styles. Attached two screenshots below for reference, rather than elaborate on end about what they look like.

Things I specifically like about the formatting option (I think it was called Compact?) are the colored numbers instead of coins or "g/s/c", the stack *and* per-item pricing (IPT does that already, huzzah), and the option to not truncate zero values for silver/copper if the item was something like 4g (4.00.00) or 30s (30.00). More space consuming? Perhaps, but I happen to like it and it doesn't actually take up that much more room than #g#s#c when you take into account it doesn't use space on the letters or coins.

Probably picking up IPT either way (ColaLight's sweet, but the vendor lag is getting annoying and it *is* no longer being developed) but it would be sweet if the style could follow me over. :-)

Positioning peculiarity... I try to move the feed pet button to a spot in the bottom right corner of my screen where I have a nice button-sized gap between bars. The button seems to have the same issue Bliz's who's-talking box does in snapping into alignment with some invisible line about 3/4" up from the bottom of my screen. About where I'd expect the top of Blizzard's default bar to be but I use a custom bar mod so can't be sure. There any way to tweak the button so that it doesn't keep jumping up so that its bottom is lined up with this mystery line? Willing to fiddle with code if needed. :-)

Took me hours (and half my hair) but I finally figured out why I stopped getting Guild MOTD upon login in my guild chat window: History module. Anyone else able to confirm?

While I haven't gone through my add-on stable with a fine-toothed comb (or even a coarse-toothed one, save knowing that it was the most recent WAU run that started the problem for me), disabling the History module and relogging does get the GMOTD to show up upon logging in for me as well. So I can confirm that much, if not that it's that module alone causing the issue.

Request, if possible, and apologies if I should be posting this elsewhere but I'm in the middle of a run and wanted to write this down before I forgot again.

Normal Mechanar bit, if the *type* of damage shield up could be announced (I checked with my friends and we couldn't remember if he had a debuff for the shield to indicate or no) that would be superb. One of my guildies is colorblind and has killed himself on his warlock alt a time or two because he couldn't tell it was the spell shield up. DPSers would have a second warning to stop as appropriate, and healers would get extra help in knowing which suicidal DPS person was likely to need a heal or three (or a mocking laugh) in the next few seconds.

There are a couple of .dll files along with the .exe and config file. It doesn't matter where they are as long as they're all together.

Hmm, that might do it then, but there were no .dll files in the zip I downloaded, I'll try again.
    *****
Re-downloaded and there was a .dll file in there this time, mayhaps I got a bad zip file the first attempt. Here goes nothing...
    *****
    Yay file list!

    *****

Edit - Random thought, perhaps a .txt file or a subsection in the readme (or even something on the wiki) listing what ought to be in the zip in case someone else gets a bad zip copy like I did the first time?

The exe itself needs to be with its other files. WAU uses those files - it's just not one file. (if that makes sense :P )

edit for clarity: you don't take the WOW .exe and place it on your desktop, you use a shortcut. :)

'Tis in the same folder as the other files it came with in the zip, though not in the same folder as the add-ons for WoW itself. Tried one attempt where I moved the .exe and the config file into the Addons folder but no luck with that either.

Not sure if I'm doing something wrong or no, classes ended for the quarter so I decided I'd spend some of my more-free free time fiddling with my UI (it's almost a compulsion). Thought it would be fun to give WAU a whirl and so downloaded and installed .NET through the Windows updater. Grabbed the most recent version I saw on SF (1.8.27.221) and ran the program. The program screen loaded fine, but it's been sitting at "Retrieving available addons..." for about five minutes now. Somehow I doubt this is the norm. Haven't touched any settings or anything, this is the first time I've run the program ever.

    *****

Edit - Tried again while getting ready for bed, this time around it was sitting there for easily half an hour before I gave up and closed the program down.
