Well I like these timers so I updated the mod a bit and added a FuBar plugin. Note I did not fix all the issues but here is what I added:

    - Fubar plugin with timers listed in order on the tablet(can be disabled for old candybar display)
    - Fubar text displays shortest timer countdown (can be disabled)
    - timers are saved properly on logout/reloadui and resumed on entering world
    - click fubar icon to output SORTED timers to raid chat
    - shift-click fubar icon to delete shortest timer
    - should still obey the settings such as time between bars/barcount etc.
    - Didn't address any bar changing/saving issues as I won't be using them.
    - Didn't do any localization besides english.

Feel free to use if you like it:)

Super awesome so far. Thanks a ton for the effort!

    Hi,
Would it be possible to add a option to choose *not to* overbuy vials? It would be nice to have the choice not to have the max stack of poison but not to have empty vials either.

Hmm, seconded. I wouldn't mind only having 16 poisons in a stack (worst case) if it meant no extra vials.

posted a message on Screen Flash on Customizable (De)Buff List
Point and laugh if this is already available, but also please tell me where to find it.

How about an addon that makes use of the screen flashing overlay frame (many addons use it for low health or aggro but I don't know what it is called) whenever Player receives a buff/debuff on a custom list they create for themselves? As a rogue, I'd add lots of things I like to remove with Cloak of Shadows but sometimes miss in the heat of battle and end up wasting a heal or two on me. For general purposes, it could work for Solarian's updated Wrath of the Astromancer and similar abilities to let you know it's time to do something but not requiring you to stare at the debuff list so much.

    Customization (if they're even possible):
    - List of buffs/debuffs that make it go off
    - Color (per buff/debuff maybe for fights with multiple effects to distinguish them)
    - Number of flashes (probably not necessary to flash until the (de)buff is gone)

I saw a serpent sting dot go by on SCT as I was flying over a hunter in Nagrand. I'm a paladin. It was disconcerting.

Similar issue. When the combat log reports damage from Unknown, SCT attributes it to me and it shows up. Happens mostly when I'm flying around, probably because of the delay in loading players/creatures when I fly into a new area.

Isn't the time obtained directly from the game by querying for information on the unit? So if Blizzard properly shows the debuff time after taking diminishing returns into account, it should already be working.

Is Cartographer using PeriodicTable? I get the same thing in Mendeleev tooltips but didn't bother bringing it up.

Cremor, try disabling "Active With Pet" if you aren't a pet class. That worked for me in a recent version while playing my low level priest. Sorry for not posting it as a bug.

posted a message on Incubator - Trash respawn timers
I picked up r44230 a few days ago to see if a problem I posted about before was cleared up. Before using it, I made sure to clear out my SavedVariables. It seems the problem still persists.

When I set the option to only show one timer bar at a time, it works great most of the time. However, every now and then it seems to ignore that one bar limitation. After killing a new enemy, instead of adding that timer to the list and not showing it, it will appear as a second bar. It seems that once this happens, every new timer from then on gets a bar. I've seen as many as eight bars so far before quitting for the night. I couldn't tell you what sets it off because there is no error message and I haven't done extensive testing.

    Quote from Astaldo »

You can only set an alternate bid name among your alts afaik, not someone else's toon.

I guess I should have been more detailed. Where would it know your alts besides logging other characters you have logged in with Bidder enabled? If all it does is drop these in a savedvariables file, could I not edit that file to include the names of some other guild members and then log in and select one as my bid name?

This is, of course, completely irrelevant if the DKPMon loot distribution window displays both the character's name and their bid name along with their point value. Then the person in charge just has to pay attention and not go giving an item to someone that is cheating and using a false bid name.

Same thing goes for bid names for standby members, though I couldn't for the life of me guess why anyone would want to stand by and earn points for someone else ;)

I take that back already. I know some people that two and three box with multiple accounts. If they wanted, they could log each alt on and place all of them on standby to earn some extra points.

Again, I don't know anyone that would do this and I'd boot anyone that tried, but I'm curious nonetheless.

I only just read the google pages and have not yet tried the addon suite out. I also haven't gone through this forum post yet, so apologies if this has been asked already.

What safeguards are in place currently to keep someone from being a jerk and setting their Bid Name as someone else in the guild and bidding on gear using their points? I don't really anticipate this happening, but I'm curious if it was considered.

Ooh, I shall give that a go. I used LuckyCharms back when they first introduced raid icons but something broke it and I never knew it was branched and continued. Thanks much.

You could create an extra, small FuBar right there

I guess I'm just picky. That seems to work alright except that it a) looks weird by itself when I have no target and b) is useless when I'm not a party leader or raid assistant.

    Take a look at Charms_Fu

I like the bar itself very much, but I want to be able to move it around the screen. Actually, I want to sit it right next to my target unit frame.

So here's what I'm looking for, or as close to it as can be found. Please let me know of any existing addons that you think fit the bill.

    - A resizeable bar showing all raid icons, preferably in a horizontal layout.
    - Bar only appears when you are party leader or have appropriate raid privileges.
    - Click an icon to assign the icon to your target.
    - Works in and out of combat.
    - Has no auto-assign functionality or at least isn't wasting any resources on such functionality when not using it.
    - Doesn't have to use Ace libraries as long as it is well-coded and lightweight.

Alright, thanks for helping me be lazy and not have to test every last raid icon addon out there ;)
