Jul 31, 2009well on that same note, yogg-brain isn't working either, at least not for anyone in my guild trying to use it.Posted in: Raid AddOns
Multi-health display might be something instead of a module, but figured that since BW has all the stuff already in it, wouldn't be that big of a deal to include a module to add to whats there already.
Jul 29, 2009I guess the easiest thing would be to grab the Kalecgos module and modify it to show the new targets (yes?)Posted in: Raid AddOns
I'll see how badly I can screw that up in the process
Guessing Yogg-Brain might be a better place to start since it's actually made for an event in Ulduar
Jul 28, 2009Yes, everytime it is brought up the first thing that comes out is "just use DBM" and I don't get it.Posted in: Raid AddOns
Kalecgos has a module, Yogg has a module, why would it be such a bad thing to get added modules per zone or per boss to do this?
Seems to be that way about several things, such as version checks.. it might not be useful to you, or you might not think it's a good idea/needed/etc, but some do.
And as was stated earlier, the areas that would be useful:
Kologan - Left/Right Arm, Body
Auriya - Feral Defender, Sentries
Freya - Adds
Freya - all keepers for the achievement where they must die within x seconds
Mimiron - Each of the 3 sections for last phase
Vezak - Hard Mode add
Yogg - Brain
The health.txt posted above, where would one put that to test it.
Jul 27, 2009I know it's been asked before but not sure if it's actually being listed as a change/enhancement (cant find a ticket on it anyway)Posted in: Raid AddOns
Multiple health bars for events that have multiple targets, such as Iron Council, Mimiron, etc.
Not sure if it would be better suited as a module such as commonaura or yoggbrain, but it would be very useful
Jul 23, 2009Posted in: Unit FramesQuote from ShefkiNot sure if I'd call it a bug but looks like we don't have Judgements in the fader spell checks. Looks like we just have a 30 yd check for Paladins. I'll add a Judgement to the range fader to fix this.
This is also the case with balance druids talented for extended range on casts.
Should be 36yards but seems to be closer to 30
Jul 23, 2009I know there are reasons not to do so, but I'm simply asking for one that does.Posted in: Addon Ideas
It does not matter if people like it or not, it's simply being requested for myself and some others I know were interested in it also.
Version checks can be fooled, if the people not using the addons knew anything about LUA.
New raiders... sure, you going to send some to my server?
Jul 23, 2009And hence is the problem.Posted in: Addon Ideas
It was recently found that some of our raiders simply turned most of their raid addons off, such as bigwigs/dbm, omen, etc simply because they found them useless. Yet those same people are now constantly causing wipes by ganking aggro, not moving when things are about to happen, etc.
At least with a central version check it would be easy to know who wasn't running it
Jul 22, 2009I know a couple of UF, like xperl, show a list of everyone that has a mob targeted, but is there a standalone addon that does this? Rant, tinytip, etc don't show a count or list (that i'm aware of or have found a setting for).Posted in: Addon Ideas
Jul 22, 2009Yes, some people have already made comments about this when asked about making it available in other addons, so I'm asking for it to be it's own addon.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Version check for the common addons, or the ability to add a list to be checked..
omen, bigwigs, pallypower, smartres, deadlybossmod, etc etc.
Most, if not all, of the addons provide a method of version checking while in a group, I and many others would love to be able to do so in a single location for everything (such as dbm requiring it to be installed to ver check, etc).
SpyGnome did this somewhat, but is no longer updated.
Jul 21, 2009You could always go outside the box and pickup NUF (nurfed) *cough*Posted in: General Chat
yea.... anyway, pb4 is much improved over pb3, and that includes cpu/mem
All of the others mentioned just don't have enough customization for me.
aguf was what I was using once i got rid of pb3 (due to serious dogtag issues/lag) but those are literally all gone in pb4 and the frames are setup identically as they were before, just using luatext instead of dogtags.
Jul 16, 2009HRM, must have been tired last night or something, couldn't see the option to filter tanks.Posted in: Unit Frames
hopefully last question
This without the level function
local dr,dg,db = DifficultyColor(unit) local lvl = Level(unit) local name = Name(unit) if UnitIsPlayer(unit) then local cr,cg,cb = ClassColor(unit) local form = DruidForm(unit) if form then form = strsub(form,1,1) return "|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cff%02x%02x%02x%s (%s)|r" ,dr,dg,db,lvl,cr,cg,cb,name,form else return "|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r |cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r" ,dr,dg,db,lvl,cr,cg,cb,name end else local classif = Classification(unit) if classif then return "|cff%02x%02x%02x%s %s|r %s" ,dr,dg,db,lvl,classif,name else return "|cff%02x%02x%02x%s|r %s" ,dr,dg,db,lvl,name end end
Jul 16, 2009Any way of setting up a maintank list with target/tot functions...Posted in: Unit Frames
I can filter for maintanks, but when i setup target/tot functions it shows the whole group the tanks are in as that's the only way i've gotten to show anything at all.
And considering ORA3 killed tank frames, need something to replace it (aguf doesnt do them either)
