Yes, you need to use C_MountJournal.GetMountInfoExtra.

posted a message on [Suggestion] Addon for Loot Masters
Why not just use the new personal loot option? It was implemented with pick-up groups specifically in mind. Everyone can decide for themselves whether main-spec or off-spec is more important to them on a boss by boss basis.

Do you mean the message box popus that says something like "internal calendar error"? I get that too, a workaround would be great (assuming Blizz didn't fix this for 6.0.2).

No, that's not what I'm referring to, but I receive that error occasionally as well.

Message reports expire after a while. CanComplainChat is used to validate reports first.

I attempt to report them immediately. The expired ones aren't as bothersome. By that point, they're usually no longer visible on the chat frame.

Recently, nearly every blocked spam message I see fails to report when clicked. Can the message be hidden even if the report is unsuccessful?

You can use BNSendGameData() or SendAddonMessage().

6.0 UI Add-On Changes:
== Add-On Communications ==

Add-on communication is now available through custom chat channels.

SendAddonMessage() where Type is "CHANNEL", and target is the channel name.

I believe UNIT_REACTION and UNIT_FACTION are the events you're looking for.

I open the launcher from the system tray. Besides, sometimes overcomplicating things can be fun, Phanx!

I would like to point out that no console windows pop up for me though. Batch files don't show console windows when Task Manager runs them.

If the task is set to run as the current user, console windows definitely aren't hidden without using workarounds. However, you can also change the user running the task to SYSTEM, and nothing will appear on your screen.

As for Wowhead and WoWDB, this means that no delay is required and I can run this and my other scripts as soon as WoW exits?

Actually, I just checked to confirm and you're right, they do upload some information from the Cache.

1. This step is definitely not needed.
3a. Use the following instead. It only deletes the necessary file for each region and as long as the batch file is saved in WoW's root directory, there is no need to edit it.
%~d0
CD %~dp0
FOR /F "delims=\" %%G IN ("%~dp0") DO %%G
FOR /F "tokens=*" %%G IN ("DIR /B /AD .\Cache\WDB") DO DEL /Q /F .\Cache\WDB\%%G\creaturecache.wdb

4. Press Win+R, type "secpol.msc", and hit Enter.
5. Press Win+R, type "taskschd.msc", and hit Enter.
5f. Use the following instead:
<QueryList>
<Query Id="0" Path="Security">
<Select Path="Security">*[System[(EventID=4689)]] and *[EventData[Data[@Name="ProcessName"]="C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe" or Data[@Name="ProcessName"]="C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\Wow-64.exe"]]</Select>
</Query>
</QueryList>

• _NPCScan and the like will no longer work with Warlords of Draenor, so this won't be useful in the near future.
• This works on Windows Vista/7/8.
• It's possible to hide the console window from showing with hidcon and other such utilities. You can also accomplish this by just changing the user running the task to SYSTEM.

Quote from Nevcairiel
...its still quite unreasonable, just to make a change a few people think is better. Like I said in this thread before, AceDB-2.0 had the default like you would prefer, and instead people asked back then for it to be changed. There is never a consensus, so we're just going to stick with what we have.

Many more than a few... If anything, I believe we're more numerous than those who wanted AceDB-2.0's default profile behavior changed.
