this mods need an "Alt" invite function :)

    I agree

EDIT: Feature added as an option in the PlayerNames module. r20374 or later will have it. It is disabled by defualt.

EDIT: I hope he meant the old mod AltInvite, which would invite someone to your party when you alt clicked on their name-link. Thats what i added

Maybe I am just stupid or missing something or whatever. I use Prat-build r19701 and somehow I am not able to click itemlinks or playernames. Usually I should be able to leftclick a playername to start a whisper or shift-leftclick the name for a /who name....but it doesn't work with Prat.

Are those just not supported or am I just way too dumb to get the point?

    sincerely

We worked on your issue today in IRC. It was decided that the Justify module was causing your issue. At present Justify only supports clickable links when Left justified.

This issue has been noted, but no fix is planned at present.

Ah, thanks. I've tried searching a bit but its hard to pinpoint. Not too much hassle though.

Updated to the 'fixed' Telltarget which was uploaded earlier.

Here is the full string of the message:
<event>ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED:AddOn '!!!Libs' tried to call the protected function 'CastSpellByName()'.
    FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:1127: in function `value'
    FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3006: in function `ChatEdit_ParseText'
    modules\TellTarget.lua:129: in function <Interface\AddOns\Prat\modules\TellTarget.lua:110>
    <unknown>:
    FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2747: in function `ChatEdit_SendText'
    FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2009: in function <Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:2003>
    <in C code>: in function `UseAction'
    FrameXML\SecureTemplates.lua:223: in function `SecureActionButton_OnClick'
    <string>:"BActionButton1:OnClick":2: in function <[string "BActionButton1:OnClick"]:1>
    <unknown>:
    <in C code>: in function `securecall'
    FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:907: in function <Interface\FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:888>

Both fixed versions work fine on TBC. The second one is better though.

    Stop using !!!Libs

    Use standalones if you can.

It doesnt seem possible given the code that exists in the fix for that error to actually occur.

i noticed between yesterday and today, that prat no longer just does the channel number, like [3].  instead, now it does [3: channelname].

is there anyway to go back to the original way of doing it? i can't seem to find it in the menu options.

I just tried this once again with no embeds at all, and I updated everything to their TBC branches/latest version.

I still have the issue but atleast I've pinned it down to that when I remove the embedded libs\Babble-Class-2.0 library the problem arises, for now I'm keeping that as the only library I have embedded.

I can happily announce that this was apparently fixed in r18272 :)

Yeah, i didnt realize anyone was having an issue, i just noticed an error in the toc and fixed it.

honestly, I wish Blizzard would allow dynamic loading of files with loadfile() or something. It wouldn't even be a big issue as long as you only use files that existed at the start (which is how it'd be anyway). Also dynamic loading of SVs would be very nice as well.

    *sigh*

The problem here is that it becomes trivially easy to make an AddOn whose only purpose is to feed data into WoW. Create an AddOn, have a gazillion empty files in it and have an outside program write to these files sequentially, and then have the AddOn load the files according to a schedule, or even settings in the files themselves. And before you mention it, yes it is currently possible to do this with AddOns instead of files, but its a lot harder to do.

Seriously, you can do it now with LoD addons, just make a bunch, and load 'em one by one - reloadui when you run out.

The prat tbc version (should be latest one) makes me get an error when i try to do a macro...that x ui has caused something that is only allowed to be done by the blizzard ui. It refers to any ui though but it only happends if i have prat enabled.

just wondering if anyone has checked up on this? Sorry that i dont have any more info but i dont get any more error messages etc.

EDIT: I made the changes to the latest TBC build. They should fix this issue and the telltarget issue. If not, please let me know.

Using the latest version (18962), I was still getting this error whenever I tried to use /target from the command line.

Disabling all addons except Prat, I found a couple of problems with the Chatlink and TellTarget modules.  After removing both modules from Prat.toc, I haven't had any problems so far.

    Some debugging, if it helps:

    1) After disabling all addons except Prat and got this error:
Prat.lua:36: AceAddon: AceOO-2.0: Library "AceHook-2.1" does not exist

    2) I copied AceHook-2.1 from Ace2-r18618[TBC] and got  a new error:
Prat\modules\Chatlink.lua:102: AceHook-2.1: Attempt to hook secure function SendChatMessage.  Use 'SecureHook' or add 'true' to the argument

    3) I replaced Hook() with SecureHook on L102, relogged, and got:
ChatLink.lua:124: attempt to call field 'SendChatmessage' (a nil value)

    4) So I disabled the ChatLink module for now.

    5) Now (with just Prat enabled) /target continued to give the "Prat has been blocked" error.  Removing TellTarget from Prat.toc fixed this.

(#3 was actually done after #5 but is listed here for readability.  After disabling TellTarget, I went back and turned ChatLink on, resulting in #3).

I don't have Ace2 installed (I was just using it to extract the missing libs).  I'm using only the embedded libs.

For today its really so much better if you run the standalone ace2. The externals arent correct right now.

    Hi everyone!

I have the same problem, here is a possible work-around: For me, the Updater always stopped at the same mod. In my case this was MCP.

It went on until and including Manufac and after that it just said "Update complete".

What I do atm is just push F4 and then manually disable MCP and everything works fine!

Perhaps it helps to check on which AddOns it stops for you too!

    Cheers

Appears to be because there is no latest file...
The Addon isn't in active devlopment, so I just popped a .svn file in there for the time being.

Its a bug in WAU - if an addon is in a branch, but not the trunk, it will cause this.

In MCP's case-its only in a branch, so it shouldnt even appear in WAU at all really.

The latest zips are being put into generic zip files now so that you could really use any synchonization tool to download them since the URL will be constant.
