    OK, so it would look like
    local msg = string.format(L.MBD_CHAT_OUTPUT, self.options.chat)
    Or would it be
    local msg = string.format(L.MBD_CHAT_OUTPUT, addon.options.chat)
    So, um, feeling stupid here, where would I put that since there is multiple occurrences of that message being printed? Or would I have to put that in every function that prints the message? Just wondering if there is a place in my code to do the string.format once and have the whole thing done?

    Alright, I am updating MrBigglesworthDeath to add user selectable chat output. The slash commands to switch type work, and all the expected results are good, save one.

    On line 16, I am trying to localize what the user selects to give feedback, however, the string is printing as is –– literally it is printing "Using %s chat type" instead of "Using RAID chat type" or "Using SAY chat type" for example.

    What am I missing? It has to be simple...

    Also, I plan on adding random chat sayings for the death message, and wanted to know that would work. Hey, I'm learning here!

    What I don't get is that you want an addon to notify you. Doesn't the base UI pop up a message saying who wants to port you to where, with an OK and Cancel? Lasts 2 minutes and all that?

    Very minor -- In the new Curse Client v4, it lists oRA2 as a "Boss Encounter" mod, and oRA3 as "Miscellaneous" which might make it harder for someone to find. Maybe. I did say it was minor.

    Yes, I notice this myself. Similarly, when I come back from being a ghost, after I Mana up, I have to use the manual res key the first time. This doesn't happen to me if someone resses me. This has persisted into the current 6.05

    Just one of the many quirks and bugs in SmartRes that is making me write SmartRes2. Even if my development time is reduced. I'd ask for help, and the thought did occur to me, but there a couple of reasons I haven't so far.
    • Except for when I need some coding or logic help, I am trying to write SR2 myself just to see if I can. Call it ego or pride. I call it a sense of accomplishment.
    • Having a co-author kind of scares me insofar of me understanding what the other person does. I am still learning WoW-Lua, and don't want to feel stupid over my own addon.
    • If there are feature suggestions or bug fixes to do, it will be easier on me to ad them if I don't have to confer with someone else.
    But you never know. I might have to cave in and ask for help. Not giving up yet, however.

    Sorry about not posting to this thread. Since I didn't start it, I keep forgetting about it and only checking for comments on Curse and WowAce. And tickets, of course.

    Anyway, just posting a thinks to ArrowMaster and Pneumatis for the bug catch and commit fix. Silly typo, but since I wasn't getting or seeing any errors, off it went.

    And I just finally understood a feature in the SVN ... To anyone who tried 6.04 and got failures, I'm sorry. It is fixed now in 6.05 or should be.

    Development on SmartRes2 is coming along, albeit slower than I would like due to real life, raiding, work, and all the usual yadda yadda. But it still progresses. Until I flag it out of Alpha, or otherwise make some kind of status change regarding Experimental, I hope nobody expects a working copy. I'm just doing Alpha commits to save my progress, and make it easier on me if I ever have to backtrack the code. Plus some people have asked to see my progress. You can see SmartRes2's development here.

    On click / ESC would work fine. Must have missed that setting; I'll check tomorrow after work. I assume the setting is in YssDrop?

    Sorry if I missed this. When I use the launcher pulldown, the Yss menu stays open after I'm done with it. The only way I've been able to close the drop down is to click the Yss icon to open the config screen, then click OK or Cancel on that screen.

    Any way to get it to auto hide, or roll back up into Chocolate Bar after a short delay, say 3-5 seconds after the mouse has moved off the Yss drop down?

    Forgive my noobness, but I gotta ask: why are you looking for "SPELL_CAST_SUCCESS" for Rebirth, when LibResComm-1.0 should have it? In my planning stages way back when on SmartRes2, Dathrarhek said if I didn't want to check for Rebirth, then unload the CallBack during combat.

    Because oRA3 would want to see Rebirth, then wouldn't you just use LRC1, and leave it be? I only ask because I noticed oRA3 is using LibResComm-1.0 ...

    I doubt the issue I have is actually BT4's fault, but when using SpartanUI 2.6 RC4 from their forums, after getting the new versions of oUF and BT4, the lock/unlock bars does nothing.

    The box is un/tickable, and I can reset the bars to default all grouped in the middle of my screen... Anyway, the one bar that stays in the middle of the screen after doing a /sui resetbars is the Totem Bar. I can select totems, recall them, but can't move the bar, and I don't see any option to drop 4 at once.

    Am I missing something, bug in BT4, or SUI? Here is the reference thread.

    There used to be a plugin for FuBar called EmoteFu (duh) that did what you are asking. Kind of cumbersome, as you had to mouse scroll through menus.
