Nov 6, 2009Hi,Posted in: Addon Ideas
I'm looking for a library to ease the management of multiple sortable+scrollable tables of data.
Lib-ST does this, but the format in which data must be provided makes it unfeasible to use (http://www.wowace.com/addons/lib-st/pages/set-data/#w-example). While it is flexible being able to use functions to generate values and colours, it's data input format is not appropriate for use in the addon and has huge overheads for generating the table every time you need to update data.
A library which allows the creation of tables in a similar manner, but with the ability to define style seperately from data and to merely be able to provide a '2 dimensional' table of the data to the library would be infinitely more efficient.
If anybody knows of an existing library that behaves like this, or feels like writing one, i'm sure it would make many people's lives easier when displaying tabulated data.

I noticed that if you do a quick /who name or shift click, the name remains gray. However if you actually open the who window (the tab next to the friends list when you open the social pane) to search for the name, the class coloring sticks.
I've had the same problem, but its not the /who window that makes classes stick for me, its getting another addon to do an actual who through the WhoLib on a person's name
May 2, 2008There is also a bug in the linkhover modulePosted in: General AddOns
is a replacement mod:OnEnable function that makes sure all the chat frames are hooked by this module, instead of just the default
Apr 28, 2008Awesome addon, just a couple of bugs:Posted in: General AddOns
(or some other random integer) causes the altnames module to throw a strop
2. the Link hover module does IsVisible checks on each chat frame before hooking it's hyperlink events, meaning only the default chat frame has working hover links
other than that, brilliant :-)
