posted a message on Are DogTags too difficult? Help me make it better

I have seen syntax highlighting and colored brackets before somewhere... may have been the TagCompiler in Aloft or so.

DogTag had it, too but there's a bug that crashes wow so it was removed temporary.

Nah, the thing is that all those SharedMedia stuff has become a major confusion for the people.

We now have 3 Addons and 3 libraries basicly doing the same thing.

For ClassTimer you need: SharedMedia (Addon that supplies the textures).

SharedMedia-2.0 (Addon) can be deleted as it only inserts textures into LibSharedMedia-2.0 instead of SharedMedia (Addon) that puts the textures in all three Libraries.

I'll try the newest one after I get back online.

So Fubar2 is old and Fubar is new? Works for me...I'll look for just plain Fubar later as well

    Thanks for the assistance

yeah "FuBar" is actually Version 3.0 :)

This seems to be a very weird issue, I just downloaded the zip from files and ran just ClassTimer, Guggraber and SharedMedia in a fresh AddOn dir. I had no errors + was able to change textures..

No, "FuBar2" is the older version on the SVN. "FuBar" is the real deal.

I made some changes to ClassTimer, please try again and post me the new errors if any occur :)

Im a linux user and i use JWowUpdater for addon managing. It has this feature: 'Cleans .toc, embeds.xml and other include files so that non existing libs wont slow your loading.'
I traced the lua errors from classtimer wich only occuring since i play wow trough wine and found out the reason,

    in ClassTimer.toc defined: 'locales\enUS.lua'
but the actually path is: 'Locales\enUS.lua'

would be nice if you could fix that :)

    fixed :)

something i've been thinking about i mentioned it before about using dog tags. do you think this would be possible making panels what would show info into each one eg time armor mail etc?
that's out of the spec, imo. this is a panel addon not a information-bar-panel-thingy addon

no LibBabble is the new LibStubbed version that should be preferred over the old Babble-2.2 stuff. the problem is: there is not yet a LibStubbed version of some of the old libs.
