I use an oUF dummy addon to show my own buffs and debuffs.
I also have a buff frame on the playerframe itself, with a filter for selected buffs. Those buffs in that filter will go to the player frame, the rest up top right.
I am using a customfilter for it, pretty easy to pull off.
That is the same way I'm doing it actually. I spawn a second player frame with another style way off screen and do exactly what you described. I feel really good about myself to read you did the same. ;D;D;D
Are you using oUF for your player (de)buffs? What is the icon to the right of your player frame? Is that a buff and is it filtered out of the buff frame at the top of your screen. I don't see that icon repeated. If that's what it is, I'm curious how you pulled that off. I'm using a weird method myself.
I like the textures and fonts you're using. :) Nice work. One thing I'm not sure about is the space for your target's name is perfect for a name like Tewl but what about Twilight Frost Mage or something long like that?
They only look like they are overlapped when you don't have the picture the maximum size. there is a gap between each frame on my monitor. Also the range fade never looks 100% nice to me lol but I live with it because i'd spend way too much time making it perfect and frustrated that it wasn't instead of playing in the limited time I get.
I meant the borders that overlap themselves in the middle of the frames on the right and left of each frame that you can only really see when the frames are faded. /longsentence
I liked the lighter borders better personally. The darker they are the more it hides the wonderful detail. Also for your raid frames I think you should scale the borders so they don't overlap. The overlap can only be seen when the units are faded but it's unsightly in my opinion.
EDIT: Also it'd be neat if you put that border on TourGuide. :)
