I really do not know. It could be but then the server (and all costs involved) should be financed by somebody. Also i have never heard of an addon functioning that way. The closest i can recall was rather like that is Carbonite addon (if i am not wrong) which used to share that info between addon users. On the other hand mine nodes will spawn most likely in same places (which node spawns is random but not where will they spawn). That is why recording data locally approach is not a bad idea.

On every addon page, under the "About Project" you can find a follow/unfollow addon button.

Not what you expect but closest working addon for classic i have found is this specific version of Elkano's FramesResized.

I believe what you ask is impossible. There is no way to track mine veins that is why ad-dons just record previous locations.
