We have Recount and Skada, but they both behave more like a raid analyzer than a simple, pure damagemeter. What i would like to see is a ''reincarnation'' of Violation or a very similar type of damagemeter (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info14412-FiendDamageMeters.html#info is also a Violation look-a-like, but also outdated and no longer maintained unfortunately).
I've been searching everywhere, and there aren't a single lightweight damagemeter that only shows damage/dps in simple bars instead of tracking loads of other information like misses/crits/abilities used etc. If anyone would like to start a project like this i'd be very happy, and i guess i'm not the only one.

Seems to be an issue in the bottom area, some quest information like rewards etc are supposed to be shown there, no?

Nov 20, 2009Posted in: Raid AddOnsQuote from KollektivI added a toggle for the icon in the latest alpha.
Yeah, it's working perfectly fine now. Thanks to Kollektiv and Kerecha. Also keep up the good work, so far it's the best bossmod i've used (used them all).
Nov 20, 2009Posted in: Raid AddOnsQuote from KollektivI believe that's a font rendering error that I can't do anything about.
How about removing the icon then? I know there's a way to remove icons from the bars, but not from the warning text. I used bigwigs before and i could output to chat using the same font without problems. It could be because of the icon as Kerecha said.
Nov 19, 2009I'm trying to set the Warning Messages to be output through Chat, but the letters are very hard to understand.Posted in: Raid AddOns
It's like the font has screwed up somehow, and even when changing the font through the global options the font remains the same.
Nov 18, 2009I'm unsure what to do to make the tooltip appear on the mouse instead of the bottom right corner, could someone help me? You can get the addon from RothUI for example. I'm guessing some of these lines needs editing:Posted in: AddOn HELP!
GameTooltip_SetDefaultAnchor = function(tooltip, parent)
tooltip:SetPoint("BOTTOMRIGHT", UIParent, "BOTTOMRIGHT", -70, CONTAINER_OFFSET_Y+70);
tooltip.default = 1;
Oct 23, 2009Posted in: Raid AddOnsQuote from waterelfi am still confused
how can i pop out message through say channel
i can find an option about it
maybe i am a noob
You can't and you never could. Some warnings are set to /say, like Shadow Crash on General Vezax (''Shadow blast on ME!!'').
Oct 17, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from SkylineeLatest alpha is buggy for me, it chooses a groundmount after being in combat, need to mount a ground mount first before it correctly chooses a flying mount.
Might have found the reason. I had the modifier set to SHIFT, and the macro set to SHIFT-2, so i guess when i pressed SHIFT-2 straight after combat, the macro didn't update fast enough. I guess some of these changes changed the update speed of the modifier key.

Tidying up update handling.

Reduced OnUpdate usage by bucketing SPELL_UPDATE_USABLE (unless "moving" spells are enabled).
Anyway, i have the modifier set to CTRL now, and it seems to work fine.
Edit: Aaaand it's still happening. Running out of ideas now.
