I was looking at Ace listings at work, and came across BagBoy. It looked kind of cool, so I tried it at home. It seems to just be the auto-trash etc, but it looks much like Sanity, which has nice searching and sorting. The only thing BagBoy seems to lack in this regard is that it doesn't have an option to show bank, alts, etc.
AceTimers doesn't yet have Hunters yet. http://wowace.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=440&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0
It's getting there, though. There's an ace addon for hunter trap only. It shows how long a trap has been town in a timer, and then if/when it's sprung, shows time left of it. I think it's TrapTimer.
It would be possible to switch tracking periodically, but you probably wouldn't want to in combat, because it activates the global cooldown. And if you want to save position data of herbs, get Gatherer or something. There's no Aced gatherer (there is an Aced Mapnotes, but I think it's the non-gathering version. There's no way to save the actual blips, those are handled internally by the game.
I'm slowly working on redoing Druidbar Ace'd. I know essentially what all my necesary functions will be and how to do them but the Ace part is a little confusing for the Timex. I'm going to jump in and finish it as soon as I can, I was out of town watching The Lion King on Broadway :) (such a spectacular show, holy cow)
The only other thing I thought was that the charge, warriors basically have 2 different ones, based on their stance. A bear only has one, so that's not an issue. The charge part should basically test the stance first?
By button, I meant presses. I didn't expect a gui for this. :)
Yeah, that's what I was trying to get at basically.
Are they targeting my defendee? Then, are they out of melee range? Charge. If in melee range, is rage sufficient? Is ability one in cooldown? if it is, is ability 2?
Yeah. I think that'd be good.
This sounds really nice for my uses, as a druid. Offtanking to save a priest, or the like. I'm not constantly watching them all the way a warrior would.
Yeah, that's the basic idea. HateMe can also keep reserve rage.
Depending on the stance (or form) the following logic is applied
Berserker
if mob health <= 20% then perform execute
if player health > 50% and rage < 20 then perform bloodrage
if self not battle hardened then use battle shout
if mob not afflicted with mortal strike then use mortal strike
if you got this far then use sunder armor
if there is 5 sunders on the target, use heroic strike
Battle (keep enuf rage for overpower at all times)
if mob health <= 20% then perform execute
if overpower is lit up then use overpower
if player health > 50% and rage < 20 then perform bloodrage
if mob is looking at anyone else but me and mocking blow is not on cooldown then use mocking blow
if self not battle hardened then use battle shout
if mob not afflicted with mortal strike then use mortal strike
if you got this far then use sunder armor
if there is 5 sunders on the target, use heroic strike
Defensive
if revenge is lit up then use revenge
if mob is looking at anyone else but me and taunt is not on cooldown then use taunt
if player health > 50% and rage < 20 then perform bloodrage
if shield block is not on cool down and revenge not on cool down then use shield block
if self not battle hardened then use battle shout
if you got this far then use sunder armor
if there is 5 sunders on the target, use heroic strike
Bear Form/Dire Bear Form
if mob is looking at anyone else but me and growl is not on cooldown then use growl
if mob not afflicted with faerie fire then use faerie fire
if mob not demoralized with faerie fire then use demorazlizing roar
if bash is not on cooldown then use bash
if you got this far then use maul
Maybe trim down the cofigurability to allow basically this:
Button1
Intercept/Charge/Feral Charge as appropriate
Edit: I just thought, Button1 should really do a range check first and just go right to button2 if they're in range/dont need to be charged.
Button2
Cast1, Cast2, Cast3, SaveRage(x) Essentially this is so you cna build hate, but sitll keep a reserve of rage to bash a spell cast, or even go Protect someone else.
Is there any extended aggro-keeping or hate building logic after the charge? For example, if Growl/Taunt is in cooldown, try something else? The HateMe mod has a pretty good run-down of hate building things to try.

I actually do use mana regen in fights, and it'd be nice to know when that 5 second thing is going. Does that old mana miser even work still?

I like the concept of them, but I never actually find myself using them. I don't remember to look at chat logs for it after fights etc.
