Jun 14, 2006I didn't write out the first line. try this instead (should be one line, but the forum wraps it):Posted in: Addon Ideas
<Ui xmlns="<a href="http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/"" target="" data-ensure-absolute>http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/" xmlns:xsi="" target="" data-ensure-absolute>http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="" target="" data-ensure-absolute>http://www.blizzard.com/wow/ui/FrameXML/UI.xsd">
also make sure you put in the correct x and y values of your tga between the 2 size tags, and of course, the correct path.
your toc should be something like this:
## Interface: 11100 ## Title: MyTexture MyTexture.xml
Jun 13, 2006silv3rwind posted a message on A tradeskill addon that allows you to drag single crafting skills...Well, I thought it was a nice idea, so I made an addon for it. It will create a macro when alt clicking an icon in the window.Posted in: Addon Ideas
I used the same icon for all items, because the icon pool for macros does not include tradeskill icons :(.

so i just gotta put that in another addon and change the nesaccery things correct?
Exactly. You would also need to use Visor to move/resize it the way you want (if you dont define everything in the xml).
Jun 13, 2006or with a simple xml, here's an example:Posted in: Addon Ideas
<Ui> <Frame name="TextureFrame" frameStrata="BACKGROUND" parent="UIParent"> <Size> <AbsDimension x="640" y="640"/> </Size> <Layers> <Layer level="BACKGROUND"> <Texture name="TEX1" file="Interface\AddOns\..\texture.tga"> <Size> <AbsDimension x="640" y="640"/> </Size> <Anchors> <Anchor point="BOTTOMLEFT" relativeTo="TextureFrame" relativePoint="BOTTOMLEFT" /> </Anchors> </Texture> </Layer> </Layers> <Anchors> <Anchor point="CENTER" relativePoint="CENTER"/> </Anchors> </Frame> </Ui>
Jun 13, 2006silv3rwind posted a message on A tradeskill addon that allows you to drag single crafting skills...yeah, the current Tradeskill UI is a pain to use. It's slow, it's wasting space, and with too many recipes it get's confusing easily. I have plans to redo it completely from scratch, but it's far from complete ;).Posted in: Addon Ideas
Aeliel: You could use macros for your most used recipes. Here's mine for transmute:
/script local name for i=1, GetNumTradeSkills() do name=GetTradeSkillInfo(i) if(name=='Transmute: Undeath to Water') then DoTradeSkill(i) end end CloseTradeSkill()
May 16, 2006just found this on curse : http://www.curse-gaming.com/en/wow/addons-3675-1-buffcheck-by-nyran.htmlPosted in: Addon Ideas
It's almost exactly what I wanted. I'll rewrite it and add a GUI to it.
Tek, if you really want to add such a feature to CorkFu, then do it, but now I've got something to work from ;)
May 15, 2006You know, when you're in AQ and the raid leader tells everyone to drink a nature protection potion, and you want to know who didn't?Posted in: Addon Ideas
I tried coding it myself, but I never got it to work like I wanted.
My ideas were:
- Player provides a search string like "Nature Protection"
- Mod iterates through all raid members and their buffs
- A frame pops up, showing which people are buffed and which are not (like the resist check from CTRA/oRA)
- Optional : Report the results to the raid chat
This could be used for other buffs, like soulstone, or even certain debuffs (C'thuns DoT in the stomach comes to mind)
Maybe someone can pick this one up ;)
May 4, 2006Here's my stripped down version of alphamap with gatherer support removed. I get 10 fps more than with the original one, and it shoud use much less memory.Posted in: Addon Ideas
