    Every once in a while, I log into WoW and my FuBar has forgotten a few of my addons. It's always the same addons:

    • Baggins
    • bEQL
    • Omen

    I can go into FuBar, and they show up on the list, they're simply not checked. If I check them, they work fine, and get added to the bar appropriately. It's just odd that they disappear in the first place.

    Any ideas as to what may be causing this?

    I've been having this problem since ages ago. Many people say Fubar works fine in this regard. I am even inclined to think it has something to do with my WoW EU client.

    Anyway the best advice given in this thread goes like this:
    1. Start Fubar configuration from scratch. Delete any Fubar* files in the SavedVariables folder.
    2. After logging in choose a new profile for your char. One profile for one char. Some people say the results are best that way.
    3. Organise your addons the way you like.
    4. it hasn't been mentioned before imo. Still some addons won't stay in place after you log in next time. It can be fixed by choosing the Default profile and then the new per-char profile. DON'T DO THIS! According to some reports the Default profile is kind of corrupt and switching back to it and from will do more harm than good.
    Instead: place the missing addons the way you like once more. Log out.
    Enjoy!

    Since yesterday my addons have been staying in place. Thanks god:-)
    I use: FuBar, FuBar_AuditorFu, FuBar_ClockFu, FuBar_DuraTek, FuBar_ExperienceFu, FuBar_FactionsFu, FuBar_MagicMarker, FuBar_MailFu, FuBar_MCPFu, FuBar_OutfitterFu, FuBar_PerformanceFu, FuBar_RecountFu, FuBar_SkillsPlusFu
    All are updated from wowace. Manually ;)

    posted a message on Chatter- Ace3 chat mod (was Chatterbox)
    It is a very well-designed mod, which gives me a lot of pleasure and I would like to congratulate the author on the idea and its implementation.

    However, there are a couple of minor bugs. I cannot right-click on player names in chat (Channel Names module is enabled because I need it enabled) and whenever someone I haven't talked to before whispers me my chat tabs become invisible except for the chat tab I am using at the moment and a couple of some other randomly picked tabs. Thankfully I can scroll through tabs with Ctrl+mousewheel.

    Hi,

    no problems with T6 tokens - recorded well last Night at Felmyst.
    The scrolling is a problem many addons have ATM - Blizz changed some functions there.
    I fixed it - but since I have no access to the SVN I can't post the fix.
    I is pretty easy to fix it for yourself.
    Open HeadCountFrames.lua
    Search for "ON VERTICAL SCROLL" (starts at lin 1887)
    There are a lot of functions there -- change all in the same way:
    Original (example - names are different):
    function HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_VerticalScroll()
    FauxScrollFrame_OnVerticalScroll(16, function() HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_Update() end)
    end
    Change to:
    function HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_VerticalScroll(self, offset)
    FauxScrollFrame_OnVerticalScroll(self, offset, 16, function() HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_Update() end)
    end

    Next open HeadCountFrames.xml
    Search for "OnVerticalScroll".
    Make you changes there:
    Original (example - names are different):
    HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_VerticalScroll()
    Change to:
    HeadCount:HeadCountFrameRaidHistoryContentScroll_VerticalScroll(self, offset)

    That's it - scrolling is back now.

    HTH

    Manfred

    Excellent job, ManniAT! The addon is working as intended.
    Here is a link with the changes for those lazy to do it themselves.

    I couldn't attach a file that big directly.

    Since the development of this excellent mod is progressing so fast and well, I was wondering if it would be too much to ask to implement a DKP storage and management expansion or at least a DKP bidding solution?
    I guess it might be connected with the loot processing popup window. What development ideas does HeadCount have DKP-wise?

    posted a message on Why won't Omen version update in-game?
    Besides, there is no need to exit WoW to update an addon you already use.
    Delete the old folder, put new content in, and type /reloadui

    Is it possible to use some command line option to ask raid members to /roll for a piece of loot using Xloot Master? I have not been able to find any info about it

    posted a message on FuBar 3.0
    I've been using FuBar for quite some time and have been really annoyed with an error.
    Fubar was unable to save positions of addon icons on two panels, some addons stayed in the right places, but some icons would take the right positions only after I switched between the default profile and the customised profile. The problem persisted through many Fubar updates and my deleting of WTF folder as well as WoW reinstallations.

    In order to track down the problem and possible solutions I read this thread from the start. Apparently the problem was brought about by patch 2.3 last autumn. And at last I found the solution (thanks to a post in this thread).
    You should make an empty bar and drag icons from an old bar onto the new one. Then the old bar should be deleted. The same should be done with the other old bar (I use two, one top and one bottom). After logout and login, lo and behold, all the icons stayed in the right places :)

    posted a message on JWowUpdater - A new java addons updater for ace2
    I've downloaded the programme and after quite some testing I must say it is a great tool for updating WoW addons. Thank you very much, rolfba.
    After I unchecked "No externals" and "Split addons with present filelist.wau" and some other options the updater does exactly what I used to do manually: it deletes old folders completely, downloads and unpacks new addons without putting complicated addons like Cartographer or Pitbull into many folders.
    Just the way I wanted all my updaters to do.
    No errors have been registered so far. Running on Windows XP Professional 32bit Corporate Edition

    At least one download location specified on the first page points to outdated releases. Try getting the latest version from

    posted a message on Skillet - Official Thread
    I've tested quite many complicated tradeskill addons before staying with Skillet even through problems brought about by recent patches. It is a neatly done addon indeed.
    I would like to ask nogudnik to add one feature though.
    As a tailor I have lots of recipes to craft in my crafting window but generally I craft only few of them daily.
    Would it be possible to add a list of favourites as a sorting option in Skillet? It would help me immensely.

    posted a message on HeadCount - Raid attendance and loot tracker
    I've been using this addon for a week and I love it. I like to know when a raid was held, who attended it, what bosses were killed and what phat lewtz were dropped. And no errors.
    Before it I used Nihilum Raid Tracker, which loot list is a bit unorganised (and it is possible to accidentally delete loots by pressing shift+left click), but has a nice feature: it announces (in the guild chat as one of the options) who looted a piece of gear or something from a particular boss and has a loot quality filter.
    It is so nice to keep guildies outside the current raid up to date with the raiders' progress. Seppyk, do you think you can implement it despite your hectic work schedule maybe some time in the future? Then I'd be able to ditch NRT completely. Sorry for putting too much weight on someone who's done a great job already.

    I am sorry for bringing up again this one particular problem. It may look simple and not worth answering to those really advanced in Lua and addon mechanics, but I could really use a hint here.
    After upgrading to PitBull-r63819.1 I can no longer choose Otravi texture for Statusbar texture. Has it been removed? How can I return it?
