    Which addon is that?

The only other addon to provide the google maps style zooming functionality that i can think of is carbonite, however i find it a bit too clunky a map mod since its packaged with an awful lot of superfluous stuff that i wouldnt want with a map mod. also other mods have compatibility issues with it. so its a bit of an all or nothing deal. personally i can do without.

... and that's the problem. The game is no fun with addons like that on my maschine. I don't know what they do differently but Cart_Questinfo could run smoothly even on my very old computer.

sorry to sound like a stuck record, but if you only want cartographer with Cart_Questinfo, then mapster and blizzards quest tracking feature is the best bet. i might even go as to say better.

Hi, I know mapster works perfectly with blizzard's own quest tracker (a decent picture of the quest tracker in action can be seen here http://www.wowjuju.com/thumbs/ui2.jpg ). That should fully replace questinfo, the data is from blizzards side, so you have the benefit of not needing to lug around a database wielding addon too. It has been a long while since i used questinfo, but from what i remember of using it, its functionality has been completely incorporated into the game by virtue of the blizzard quest tracker now.

yeah, thats what it throws up when you log in with the new version. After you log in once, it wont work; but then you reload and its perfect. But i just thought that it might be worth posting what the error was anyway, just so you can see :)

also, im assuming that you are aware that the skillet window is very prone to becoming unresponsive in a few ways, but in case you aren't ill try and explain some of the weirder interactions.
In the recipe list side, there is no highlighted line to show which recipe has been clicked/selected.

Also, if you use the search filter to filter some recipes then select one to produce, afterwards you will not be able to remove the search term (or rather, removing it will not affect the list of displayed recipes)
    {one thought on this: this is with the inscription profession, and through mainly using a recipe called 'minor inscription research' which causes a "discovery" of a random minor glyph recipe, so it might be that skillet gets issues with adding recipes to the list while the window is still open, doubly so since the search term is 'minor', and that would be inclusive of the new recipe. I know that Mainline skillet needs to be closed and opened for it to catch the new one. ill check what the default UI does with this recipe tomorrow (20hr cooldown on the recipe)}

And finally, the queue list often wont show what is in the queue (clicking process however will make what you added to queue even if it doesn't show it) and it often wont remove items that have been made.
What appears to happen is it will show only one recipe and that recipe is one level belated, if that makes sense. so, for instance, if i went to make 'Minor inscription research' (need to make 1x moonglow ink then the final product) i select it, click process and ill make the ink, but the queue will be empty, when finished the ink appears in the queue. click process again then the minor inscription research is made when the queue references moonglow ink then after its finished minor inscription research appears in queue (clicking process now removes it from the queue (clicking clear queue does nothing))

It should be noted that this is all with r147 and today with r148 with Inscription as the profession. but i thought it might be useful in some way.

cheers lilsparky, I hope some of this helps. :)

Can you combine them to into a NEW Lilsparky's Workshop Pro?
Where lilsparky's workshop becomes a module that gets installed with your version of Skillet?

(you haven't updated LSP in a wile)

    Nice idea!
And you could chuck in lilsparky's lab partner functionality into the mix too.
"Lilsparky's Workshop Pro" I like, but have you ever considered "Lilsparky owns the tradskill addon world and this addon proves it. Download it, i dare you", or "Lotawapi.diidy" for short :-D

If you change your password on wowace it should change it on the forums as well.

Hmm, i think my accounts been made wrong then.

currently Im using two different passwords (though my username is the same). one that is for Curse and www.Wowace and a different one for forums.wowace. Incidentally my username on wowace before the change used to be Celandine, and was only Rui on Curse. now im Rui everywhere, but whatever. at least its less characters to type in.

I tried to use my old forum details after the Curse.com shift and i couldnt sign into the forums (tried curse and old school wowace) (the www. site was fine though, with curse details, so i tried that on the forums to no avail) so i did the forgotten password thing and it sent me my username (as rui, a great surprise to me) and a numerical replacement password.

but to be honest i dont care about the password being immemoriably numerical (i can always get it tattoed on my index finger), its more that im in the process of changing my email address from the barren wastelands of hotmail to the green and luscious pastures of gmail and i need to get the wowace forum stuff being sent there so i can finally free myself.
Not least because i soon intend to delve into the dark and dangerous waters of addon construction and my first idea for an addon has been estimated by the wowace IRC crew as 'complicated'.

so id rather be more streamlined in my account details before i start.

im assuming that having the merge of two accounts with different usernames but the same email address caused a confabulation in the uranium circumflexor

sooooooo......... about that http://forums.wowace.com/profile.php?do=editpassword email/password button, any ideas?

I have to admit, lilsparky, i feel kind of the same. moving back to normal skillet makes me realise how spoilt we have been. i have been so long accustomed to greatness its hard moving back to mediocrity.

very much looking forward to updates.

    Hey guys,

For some reason my old password wasn't working to login to the forums. I then requested a password change, and was emailed a new password. When I go into my user options, and click to change the edit email and password button, nothing comes up.

Is there a way I can change my password?

Im in the exact same situation. my forums password is different from the others and the forum password change (http://forums.wowace.com/profile.php?do=editpassword) link doesnt seem to be working. any other password change on wow ace seems to be for www.wowace, not forums.wowace. its truely weird
