Tuller, do you plan to fix the problem where active possess bar bugs paging?
Is there any way to display the number of the currently active page on a given bar?
Could we possibly have the option to disable the display of keybindings per bar?

I have the same problem as Stan with weapon buffs names. When you click on 'Names' module only wepon tab is visible and there is no check sign at 'Enable'. Checking 'Enanble' pops all tabs, then one can disable again. Same after /rl.

I haven't reset SVs the last few betas though and Zariel changed some stuff in the DB. Maybe it has something to do with this. Will do later and report here.

Sorting buffs by time left still puts buffs which last until canceled at the bottom of the list. Such buffs are auras, hunter aspects, ghost wolf and so on. I mean infinite duration > 2 hrs i.e.

    - Sort module does not resort on buff refresh.
    - Reverse order for time left sorting does nothing.
    - Buffs which last until canceled should appear on top of the list with time left sorting, not at the end.
    - We have 'Default' and 'default' profiles (capitalization typo in setting the Default profile as default?)

    Best wishes
    Rain

P.S.: Screenshot - debuffs above player frame, weapon buffs beneath minimap, buffs beneath weapon buffs. Name module disabled. You see count and duration modules with sorting by time left. Caith layout through BF.

Zariel, do you plan to bring the blizzard like duration timers back? I really don't need to know the exact duration of a buff with more than 1 minute left. The verbose timers are also harder on the eyes with some fonts and sizes. Verbose timers are also broader which make them hard to keep the same size as their corresponding buffs. Blizz duration timers never occupy more than 3 digits, that's what's so nice about them.

One request: Please change the short message command to /slw from /sw to avoid conflicting with StunWatch (which still seems best for managing Diminshing Returns for stuns).

I could do it also if I could get given access to the SVN. This looks like its a very easy one line change.

    Thanks,
    Platykurtic

The /sw slash command is reserved for the new blizz stopwatch introduced in 2.4.3

Tring to disable the name module in 2.4.2-10Alpha resulted in:

/rl unloads the module correctly. All other modules are fine.

MM format duration is somehow buggy - a 10 min duration is displayed as 599m (599 seconds in 9:59 min I believe).

Weapon buffs durations are not displayed.

Height and width of the weapon buffs panel change only at /rl, not that it matters :)

Thank you very much for your efforts, it shapes to be a nice addon

For some reason the 'Name' module is gone for me. I installed 2.4.2-9Alpha from your git repo. Bugsack didn't report anything about this and the foreposter has the module visible.

Profile switch becomes active after /rl. Shouldn't this be on the fly?

    Minor requests:
Could you please set the default profile to 'Default' (currently it's 'char')?
Could you make a slash command to call the config pane?

    @Brotherhobbes
I believe you're tring to mimic the layout of ElkBuffBars.

How do I set the buffs to grow in a column form top to bottom first and then, when the column is filled up, to start another column to the left of the first one? I tried to change the width and height of the buff frame but it still fills the rows first.

Would it be possible to have the "name" and "duration" modules available separately for buffs and debuffs?

Would it be possible to have totem buffs displayed separately and right click on them to remove a totem? (This was a planned feature for Buffalo3)

Thumbs up for your work, at last we have a mod which colors debuffs based on debuff type :) Glad to switch over from Buffalo.

I kinda feel like a complete moron - it's only that the possess bar apears only at page 1 and one is not able to see it when at another page. With possess bar active one could only page up/down once and then paging is blocked. Please discard all the stupidity I posted here, I'm really sorry about this :(

Would it be possible to make possess bar be always visible when active regardless of the currect page and lock paging completely on the bar where pbar is upon?

    Appologies once again
    Best wishes

I'm sorry for occupying the thread. I seem to have found out how to exactly bug the possess bar / paging thing. The problem occurs when paging while "Eyes of the Beast" being cast or channeled. Then the possess bar does not appear even under normal surcumstances until relog.

Further, you are right, I don't see the possess bar while not at page 1.

Sorry once again for taking so much of your time and thank you for looking into that. It's not that much of an issue now that I know how to avoid it.

    Best wishes

As far as it not working at all: I've not been able to duplicate this. I have a feeling you were paged, and thus did not see the bar.

Steps to reproduce (on a hunter):
    1. Set bar1's quick paging to:
    • pages 2,4 and 6 -> bar2
    • pages 3 and 5 -> bar1
    2. Cast "Eyes of the Beast"

Result: Possess bar does not appear (not expected). Pet bar disappears (expected).

That's with all other addons disabled.

The possess bar replaces the first 10 buttons of a bar. I might set it to 12 and override the main bar completely in all standard setups, but it will still be wonky in setups with > 12 button bars.

Paging being locked: that shouldn't be the case. [bonusbar:5] should be checked after manual paging.

Thank you for your fast response, Tuller. If you consider different bar lengths, then asigning a possess bar to a bar with less than 10 buttons is also an issue.

When the spells beneath the possess bar are clickable and one casts any of them accidently, they loose control over the possessed unit.

Possess bar is completely not there with the paging setup I described in my privious post. I wouldn't care whether it locks paging or not if the possess bar itself were there.

Thank you for looking into that

There are some strange issues with paging and possess bar enabled:

    • The possess bar "overlaps" the bar beneath it so that buttons on the bar beneath are still visable and clickable.
    • The possess bar locks paging on other bars.
    • The possess bar don't pop up when using the paging setup I describe below.

Well, I maybe have an uncommon setup. I have 2 bars with paging activated so that each of them switches between only two pages using standard shift+arrow up/down. It mimics the standard Blizz AB behavior when lower left and right and both the side bars are enabled (it pages only between bar 1 and 2 then).

In Bongos3 only the 2. issue exists.

Edit: Forgot to mention: Dominos Buff should be dependent upon Dominos, shouldn't it.
