    Some bugs with the localisation (French), i've got lot of errors with the notification field (heal pet, gain energie, etc...)

    What do you mean by bugs? You got error-messages or just some missing localisations?
    I just switched my client to german and it worked just fine...
    just that the damage-messages show as "(Pet) -123" and the parries show as "Begleiter parieren!" (german for "Pet parry!").

    pet-heals and mana gains weren't a problem at all (playing a warlock, didn't test with hunter)

    edit:

    When on my hunter and i feed my pet it shows up as +35 Unknown instead of +35 Happiness

    I can only get my first heal to show when i log on, then it just goes back to showing nothing incoming or outgoing. I do get an error on my first cast, but it doesn't seem to be related to parrot as its about a sound file, i am attaching it just in case however.

    hmm. that's strange. did you try with all other addons turned off?

    btw. changes are now up in the SVN and obtainable via the WAU.

    One little error I found, if you change the Icon position on a Scroll Area the whole thing gets bugged out and stuck on "Pow" style and you have to delete the whole Scroll Area and recreate it.

    Don't expect too much, this addon is quite complex for a noob like me. But I'll try.

    just a little thing i would like to see: is it possible to remove the need of parserlib/specialeventlib?

    Thought about it too. Also the LibBabbleSpells should be obsolete by now (thx to GetSpellInfo()).
    As soon as I get svn-access I will look into it.

    Why not submit this code to SVN? No one in the whole world has any use of Parrot without these fixes.

    That's true. I would love to see these fixes in the svn, but it's not my addon but ckknight's.
    and reading the svn rules:

    Committing to Addons that aren't yours
    [...]
    This is just a BAD idea. Don't Do It!

    I don't even have SVN-access (a solvable problem, i know).

    But I think ckk will think about integrating the fixes (if they are good enough), like he did with KarganMGE's.

    edit:
    got spell interrupts work. Also the interrupted spell can now be displayed in the tag.
    I defined "Interrupt! ([Skill]) {[ExtraSkill]}" as the default tag. Everybody who does not like it, change it :P
    also the Leech and Peroidic Leech effects are now shown as power gain (--> Dark Pact and Drain mana works right)
    edit2: fixed leech-bug for other people leeching you. also the amount is now displayed correctly

    Basically, the issue was that self heals are showing up in both the Incoming and Outgoing areas. So if you want them to show up only in the Incoming area, you need to comment/remove that block of code.

    thought about it and yeah, that's right. But maybe some people want it to show on both sides, i don't know... maybe this can be made configurable...
    I commented the lines now in this version
    also the Chatframe1 Messages are gone.
    enjoy!

    Nice Work Prof_Albert, but now every time my pet parried (or something like that) an attack, i get in my chatframe 1 an notification about the parry

    oops, forgot to remove that when it was done. I'll post a fixed version later today.

    and there miss the fix from MegaManJuno:
    outcomment this lines
        -- check if we heal ourself, so we can display it correctly
        if (area == "Incoming") and (srcGUID == self.PlayerGUID) then
          self.TriggerCombatEvent( self, "Outgoing", "Heals", info )
        end

    My alt is a holy priest, so I will look into it later.
    Maybe KarganMGE put this in for a reasen, who knows ;)

    another disturbing bug: DoT-damage is treated as normal skill damage. i found out how to fix this:
    just replace this line (CombatEvents.lua:2087)

    ["SPELL_PERIODIC_DAMAGE"] = Parrot_CombatEvents.SpellDamage

    by

    ["SPELL_PERIODIC_DAMAGE"] = Parrot_CombatEvents.SpellPeriodicDrainLeech

    and it works.

    playing a Dotlock, so pretty annoying seeing the DoTs spamming across the scrollarea ;)

    edit:
    found a little mor time and fixed the whole pet-incoming-issue
    there are events for incoming pet damage, pet misses, that can be turned off seperatly
    also the above SkillDoTs issue is fixed in this attached file
    just extract the attached archive into the parrot directory.

    I found a workaround for the issue about the incoming damage on pets:
    in the function Parrot_CombatEvents:MeleeDamage
    just before the line
    self.TriggerCombatEvent( self, area, type, info )

    I added
    if (area == "Incoming") then
    	if(dstGUID == self.PetGUID) then
    		return
    	end
    end

    so when the pet takes meleedamage, no event is triggered.
    the same has to be done for every other type of damage.

    Another problem with pets. Previsouly, pet damge didn't show up in the incoming area. Now damage taken by my pet and myself will both show up.

    It's the same with incoming heals. Both the pet's and mine are showing up (undistinguishable).

    Edit: oh yeah, and "Dark Pact" somehow shows as some kind of incoming damage like 2000 (2000 resisted).

    And afterall. Thanks for the effort of updating this thing. Looking at the bugs reported, looks like a whole lot of work.

    just found out about it recently, and it's really nice. I no longer need to login to all my chars to check the TradeCDs.
    But CD for Void shatter would be nice indeed.

    since 2.4 supports questlinks, it would be nice if not the questname, but the questlink would be inserted into an open ChatFrameEditBox.
    i did it like this, and it works:
    in QuestFu.lua: line 714, I just replaced
    ChatFrameEditBox:Insert(self:MakeTag(level, tag, suggestedGroup)..name)

    by
    ChatFrameEditBox:Insert(self:MakeTag(level, tag, suggestedGroup)..GetQuestLink(questid))

    please add to the next revision.
