As stated above I'm looking for someone to take on some or all of my addons, I think it's a little unfair to describe that as a "blind call", but I take your point. All my addons have a user base so I consider them all worthwhile.
I ask for experienced authors as some of my addons are fairly complex, others would simply benefit from an experienced eye to improve them. I also have simple addons that would be suitable for the less experienced author. It does seem, however, (at least in my case) that the more complex the addon is, the more people download it :-)
Combined they generate a not insignificant balance for the Curse author rewards program, which would also go to anyone willing to take them/some of them on.
Specifically, they are (addon - total downloads - most recent author rewards points):
Loremaster - 581,584 - 11.4
Misdirection Helper 2 - 107,018 - 2.5
Pet Selector - 81,476 - 3.3
Autolog - 78,908 - 1.7
Macro Toolkit - 45,048 - 8.3
Loremaster Collector - 24,611 - 1.4
Looters Aid - 20,894 - 0.6
Macro Box - 11,872 - 1.9
Queue Timer - 5912 - 0.5
Easy Tradeskills - 5400 - 0.4
Kipper - 4803 - 0.2
Speak Up - 774 - 0.1
(there are two other addons on my curseforge page that are not published and not likely to be)
Thanks to anyone reading this.

Jul 14, 2013Hi,Posted in: Need Help?
I haven't played WoW for around 18 months now and have no plans to go back.
I have a number of addons, all hosted on curse/curseforge with a solid user base that require updates for recent patches. I don't have the time (or WoW account) required to maintain these anymore.
I don't want to let my users down so I'm looking for any experienced authors who'd like to take on some/all of my addons.
Please PM me if you're interested. I'm working away from home for a few weeks so responses might be slow. Please only contact me if you're serious about taking these on long term and have a good knowledge of addon development.
Thanks for your time.
Oct 1, 2012There are a number of issues, but the one you mention is certainly the main one. I've already produced what I believe to be a working version of the addon - just waiting on the author to get back to me.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Sep 26, 2012There are two things that spring to mind. Firstly, PARTY_MEMBERS_CHANGED and RAID_ROSTER_UPDATE no longer exist, they have both been replaced with GROUP_ROSTER_UPDATE.Posted in: Need Help?
Secondly the code seems very dependant on an attribute called "unit" that doesn't seem to be set anywhere. It may be I don't know, without spending lots of time trawling through your code I can't be sure.
Nov 10, 2010I use a much simpler method in LFMonitor to intercept any link like this. In the following code, LFMonitor.EditFocus is the edit box in my addon which currently has focus. Pretty sure I stole this code from somewhere but can't remember where, so all credit to the original author.Posted in: Need Help?
local orig_ChatEdit_GetActiveWindow = ChatEdit_GetActiveWindow function ChatEdit_GetActiveWindow() return LFMonitor.EditFocus or orig_ChatEdit_GetActiveWindow() end
