I currently do not have an active WoW account and at this time do not know when or if I will again. Given how many people use (or have used) my mods up until my recent hiatus, I don't feel good about them just going by the way side without some support.
So, I'm basically looking for someone (or multiple people) with a decent amount of WoW mod experience to begin taking over my mods. They were all updated to work with the 3.0 patch, but have not been touched by me since the release of WOTLK.
SCT - currently has issues with custom events and API changes that came from 3.0/WOTLK.
SCTD - no known major issues, but I would bet some are there around 3.0
Proximo - Went through a major rewrite for 3.0 and was not fully tested to my satisfcation. Has issues with Deathknights on either team and apparently also with frost mages. Aura tracking has not been updated for WOTLK spells/buffs.
Eavesdrop - no known major issues, but I would bet some are there around 3.0
I don't really have any major stipulations or qualifications on who I am looking for, but please contact me directly using rhclone-sct at yahoo dot com for further disucssion. I can answer general questions on this thread if need be, but I don't tend to check in here often.

Jul 16, 2008HonorFu and HonorFu Plus both are incorrectly hooking SCT's honor gain methods. They both should be updated to remove that functionality, since honor gains in the combat log are 100% accurate now that honor is awarded immediately.Posted in: General AddOns
Jun 19, 2008Arkive, 1) This is already supported. I think you just have to hit enter after typing in the value. 2) No names are ever shown. It will always only be the icon and amount. Use the tooltip to see the details for an event. 3) I don't plan to add those at this time. They are not "combat" events in my mind.Posted in: General AddOns
reale, Fade Frame makes the entire frame fade away when they are no active events. The events will always slowly fade away based on the fade time you give it. Everything shows again when any event happens or you scroll either with the mouse wheel or icons.
oodyboo, I'll look into showing debuffs on target as a potential option.
Jun 19, 2008Anyone have any opinions on the Battlegrounds feature? I personally don't find it very useful and think it may work better as a separate addon entirely. However, if enough people find it useful I can leave it. Its pretty minor stuff code wise, just feel it could be better written when not having to be "stuffed" into an Arena based mod.Posted in: General AddOns
Jun 4, 2008SCT can do those things with its custom events now (Pet damage, heals, happiness, etc...). You can do it in the custom events screen in game or in the config file, your choice. Using the in game menu is is pretty easy if you aren't already used to the config file way.Posted in: General Chat
Jun 4, 2008For now, don't use Jwowupdater to update Proximo as I have no idea how it handles externals not on the wowace SVN. Just download it directly from wowace:Posted in: General AddOns
Jun 3, 2008Since its not hosted on the wowace SVN, I guess its causing some issues. If I added it to the TOC, I guess I have to force it to load LibStub also, since it wouldn't be loaded otherwise in cases where the embeds.xml is trimmed:Posted in: General AddOns
I don't see any issues with TalentGuess-1.0 in regards to LibStub, this just appears to be an issue with how files.wowace.com works.
Jun 3, 2008I have just uploaded a Beta version of Proximo 2.3. It has some significant enhancements to it. Here is the full change log:Posted in: General AddOns
- Added New "Use in Battlegrounds" option. It basically just becomes a "last 5 targets" unit frame for self only, and doesn't sync with other users. Work in Progress. ReloadUI if this is turned on or off while in a BG.
- Removed old talent code.
- Added new talents using TalentGuess-1.0. Provides talents as best as possible based on comblog events and buffs. No longer syncs talents as it isn't needed with this approach.
- Converted to using ShareMedia Widgets for Ace3.
- Added Frost Nova to tracked auras.lua
- Fix for highlighted frames staying after leaving and reentering an arena
The new battleground mode is still a work in progress, and is not even something I use. However, it has been requested enough and adding it is fairly straight forward, that I wanted to give it a start. Right now, its more or lesss just shows the last 5 people you have targeted or moused over. After 5 target its starts replacing the oldest targets with the new ones. It does not sync with other Proximo users in this mode and is still limited by the normal combat events as far as click event go. I also would recommend using a 2nd profile in this mode, as you probably will not need or use many of the features in battlegrounds like you would in arena.
The new talents are provided by TalentGuess-1.0 (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8990-LibTalentGuess-1.0.html). This library keeps track of the talents used by players and makes educated guesses to the possible talents they have. It will never know their exact talent trees, but it should give you enough to generally how a player is spec'd. If you don't know the talent trees, I suggest you learn them =)
Please post feedback on these and the other changes here.
May 29, 2008This has been discussed many times before, and you aren't going to change anyone's mind =)Posted in: Ace3
Some people like it defaulting to be character, some people don't. No matter which way you go, someone won't like it. You just happen to be one of the people that doesn't like how AceDB-3.0 is setup by default. If the copy/change profile is not working, then that is something you need to let the author of the mod know about.
May 29, 2008Zidomo, are you still getting the error? I cannot seem to reproduce it. Maybe describe what you are doing in more detail.Posted in: General AddOns
Xed, I'll look into that
Avitus, the spell icons are handled by the game now. Need to bring it up with blizzard =)
Shadowgopher, pretty sure that is just a Power gain event. So just select the event type of "POWER", and put the name of the spell that gives you back mana. You'll just need to look in your combat log for the actual spell name.
