I'm really sorry for reviving this thread and I know that this is REALLY old but I am still yet to find a decent blp to png converter that actually preserves the transparency. Everytime I use xnview to convert the files, it always makes the background black :(

I have tried wowimage BLPPNGBLP, xnview ofc, blp2viewer and still nothing that works properly :(

Does ANYONE know of a decent utility that can be used to convert a BLP properly??

    I've had a lot of success with BLP2PNG - http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info6127-BLP2PNG.html

I have created a mod to add spell cooldown bars to icehud. http://www.wowace.com/projects/icehud_cdbars/ if anyone is interested in testing it out.

Did you consider writing this code then submitting it to me for integration with the main addon? It looks like you just copied everything from the custom bar implementation and only changed it to detect spell cooldowns instead of buff/debuff durations. I have a long history of integrating users' work into IceHUD.

    No, there isn't.

I'm reasonably certain that r383 is the final end to the SetTexCoord errors. Lua is not friends with NaN.

Several other mods are seeing this error including ElkBuffBars, DHUD, and Routes. I'm working with a few other authors to figure out what it is.

Getting that to, seems to happen if i have something targeted that suddenly becomes unavailable (for instance if i have something targeted and accept a summon or use my HS or a portal)

Alright, that helps a bit. I will see what I can do about reproducing it. The weird part is, I put in protection that should stop the error, but it apparently isn't working.

    ---
Getting this on the latest build, 1.5.3

I have one other user reporting this same error, but no one else. I can't seem to reproduce it :(. Can you provide a list of the other addons you use?

I just starting playing around with UI addons recently and just installed IceHUD this weekend.

I like how I can use IceHUD to unobtrusively create a visual indication of player and target health that's close to where my eyes are focused most of the time. For my purposes, anything beyond that is too much since I've got it covered well for the time being with some other addons. I've had fun playing around with IceHUD and figuring out how the basic features in the GUI work that past few days, but there are still a couple things I haven't figured out:

    1) How do I disable or hide the text below the bars?
    2) How do I disable or hide any icons that will appear on the bars (e.g. the rest icon)?

I did some searches for editing the text and found a few reference for DogTag, but the subsequent search for DogTag did not result in anything useful (at least relative to my meager knowledge of IceHUD and addons in general :)).

    Thanks!

    1) Click + next to the bar and click "Text Settings". /icehud => module settings => player health => text settings
    2) Click + next to the bar and click "Icon Settings".

QQ I can't use IceHUD on the ptr - client crashes and I have grown totally dependent on it :(

This was a Blizzard bug, btw, but was fixed in IceHUD the day the PTR came out, I believe. I think Blizzard has already fixed it in the PTR as well.

Sorry for not replying sooner...the email notification for this forum thread is not functioning.

    Hi,

I've been using IceHUD as my preferred HUD option for a while now and find it quite awesome - so many thanks! :)

I was re-configuring it last night to change the positions of the icons (leader, master looter, etc.) and was wondering if there was any particular reason that the maximum x-axis value (this being 250) would only allow for icons to be placed in the 'middle' area of the HUD.

I increased the max value (apparently a value of 330 is what I was after for the placement of the icons) to 500 to resolve my particular dilemma, however I'm not fond of having to hack up people's mods, and so I was wondering if you'd considering increasing the maximum x-axis value to something larger.

The only reason it's set at 250 is so the slider isn't too touchy. The larger the range, the harder it is to make small adjustments with the slider. I can increase these.

I just noticed the 'use dog tags' option today. I unticked it since I don't use any dog tags options. The result, after reloading my UI, is that the upper text alpha is displaying as 100% on player health and mana. I checked the options, and the option to lock upper text alpha is not selected for player health or player mana.

I also noticed that the lower player health text and lower target mana/energy/rage/etc text are using 'Text' for colors rather than PlayerHealth or TargetRage/TargetMana/TargetEnergy. The lower text for Player mana/health/energy and target health are fine.

Thanks for the reports. I don't really support un-checking the dogtags option, it's just there for people who absolutely can't stand the idea of having the library loaded. That said, I'll certainly see if it's an easy fix and something I can knock out quickly.

It sounds like the text colors are more or less working as intended. I can imagine some people not wanting everything for the bar to be the same color, but I can also see the inflexibility of having a single color for lots of bar texts. Perhaps I should add text colors per-bar, but those would only make sense/function for people without dogtags enabled. Quite the conundrum :(.

I love the new config for Buffs/Debuffs.

You have the option to grow Left and Right. Is there any chance in the future to Grow Up or Down?

For example, I love having my Debuffs/Buffs Travel Verticle next to my Target Mana and Health Bars on their given side. I can Set it so that it Provides 1 Buff/Debuff Row, but obviously thats going to then result in the Buffs running all the way down thru my Hud and to the bottom of the screen.

Id love to be able to set it so that it will run, say 15 Debuffs/Buffs, then start a next row to the left or right and run down again the same amount.

I can provide a screen shot if needed. I have been using Satrina's Buff Frames to accomplish this Along side of IceHud.

I can see how that'd be helpful. I'll try to investigate this to see how difficult it would be.

A feature that I'd like, that shouldn't be too difficult, would be to add an optional 4th line to the target info text. I like to have a short list of party members targetting the mob I have targetted (using [TargetingList:Truncate(35)]) so I can make sure we are all on the same mob and it just doesn't align well sharing a line with any of the other mob info texts.

Adding a 4th line is no problem. I'll put it on the wish list.

I logged just to post that idea and see it already being discussed ;)
Yes, NeedToKnow user too, but if IceHUD can get the option to just create new bar, set size/pos/color, buff or debuff, target, player or focus, name of the thing to monitor, short name to show at the label below and applications stack, that should make IceHUD universal

It's already in the plans, but won't be implemented probably until IceHUD 2.0, which I imagine will take some time. I'm still trying to get everything nailed down to make it as solid as possible before attempting to rewrite portions.
