    Ackis,

Ran into this error tonight while running around on an alt. I opened lilsparky's version Skillet and when I selected the item I was going to craft this popped up. I posted in on lilsparky's forum for Skillet, but he said it might be ARL's issue. Any idea?

Ran into this error tonight while working on an alt. Might be an Ackis Recipe List issue, but since I'm unsure I figured I'd post it here since it occurred when trying to select an item to craft (mainly smelt copper into ore).

Ok, call me crazy, I can't seem to find the new versions since 10/26. If they're on the SVN I don't know how to get to them, but I've been wanting to test and work with this. Any info would be great.

Yea, I had the same problem myself, ended up being that files you're looking at are (I believe) the actual Skillet filed by nogudnik. You have to go under Repositories, lilsparkys-clone, and then "Files for this clone" to get where you need to go.

    Or.... cause I'm a nice guy... :)

    http://www.wowace.com/projects/skillet/repositories/lilsparkys-clone/files/

    Hope this helps.

Edit: Oh well, someone beat me to the punch while I was typing. lol

Basically I started making leather and about half way through the crafting stopped and gave the first error. When I tried to restart again by exiting out and re-opening Skillet, I got the second.

There should be a "dragcorner" in the bottom right corner just like on any standard window in windows to let yu resize it.

Yes, I found it thanks. I thought I had been clicking on it before, but I guess I was off by a few pixels or something. :)

are you getting any LSW spam? when you first open your trade window, you should get something about what modules are being connected to (auctioneer and informant typically). if you don't get that, something ain't initializing properly.

Yes, I did. I got spam pertaining to AucAdvanced, Informant, and one other I can't remember. After loading it a couple of times it looked to have started picking up information for my Hunter's Leatherworking patterns, haven't tested it with my Shaman's JC yet, but since it started working for LW, I'll assume it'll work with JC after some nudges. :)

Now if Ackis Recipe List will cooperate with Skillet I'll be a happy camper. :D

    Thanks.

there's an alpha for lsw that should work with my branch.

there is a bit of a pause when opening skills, but i don't think it's any different between actionbuttons and skillet buttons...

Downloaded the alpha and it doesn't seem to cause any errors, but I'm also not getting any information pertaining to the items I see on Skillet, the far right is blank. What do I need to do to list the cost information. Id do scan the AH with auctioneer every few days so there should be some info to be listed.

Also, is there any way to increase the width of Skillet? When I load it up now after enabling Workshop the names of all my craftable items are really shortened.

    ex.
    Blue
Solid Emp... [0/0/2] (nothing listed for Workshop)

    Thanks

yeah, that sounds like it's definitely a caching issue. i'll see what i can do to fix that or make it clear what's going on.

weird. 3-5 seconds seems pretty long. is this with lilsparky's workshop installed?

also, the time really should be identical to using the normal action buttons. they're both doing the same thing -- casting the appropriate spell to open the tradeskill window.

Well 3-5 seconds may be a bit excessive, but there definitely was a lag issue. As for Workshop being installed, I don't think so since I was receiving errors pertaining to it and since I hadn't seen an update I disabled it. Maybe I only disabled it for one character when I thought I disabled it for them all. I check later to see.

Well I tried it like you said and it seems to have fixed it self or something. The patters listed fine after a short hang, and when I tried with Cooking and First Aid it did the same thing but was shorter wait, I guess because next to JC I only had a few recipes of those.

The one thing I do notice is if I use the buttons in Skillet to switch professions, there is about a 3-5 second lag before the list comes up. Is this normal?

    Thanks

Jewel Crafting and Blacksmithing, Maybe Leatherworking, but I didn't try it on my other character.

Thinking it might be something related to a WTF saved setting I deleted all my Skillet settings, but that did not seem to fix anything. I remember an issue with Workshop now, but even after disabling that mod it still occurred. It seemed to me like it was taking account of all my designs, but after 3 minutes or so and nothing happening I had to CTRL-ALT-DEL out and end the session of WoW (Not Responding) to get it to load back up.

I'll try it again today when I get home from work to see if anything out of the ordinary error wise is listed, but since the lock ups happen before any errors could be listed in my bug catcher I'm unsure if I'll be able to provide anything. I know I ended up disabling Skillet to craft some gems so I'll try your suggestion and see if Skillet now works after using the default Bliz UI.

I didn't seem to receive any errors in the latest build, but for some reason WoW locks up when I try to open Skillet since yesterday's patch. Disabling it and using the Bliz API doesn't seem to affect anything so does anyone have any clue why this occurs? Thanks.

    @Jacen,

Glad I'm not the only person having this problem, I was coming here to post the same query and see if the issue was my fault (setting problem) or the mod itself. Any help in fixing this would be great.

Stupid question, but am I to assume that "nolib" denotes no libraries included with the package and the other version has the libraries included?

Ok, so I wrapped in some new changes :

    - one can now add custom announce for any spell or item.

This is one reason why I came to the forums, I'm curious how to add your own custom announces. I checked the Wiki, but I didn't see anything relating to this so I figured I'd post my query here. :)

Oh... one other question pertaining to this. Is it possible to create multiple announces and have them randomly picked each time you use the spell?

    Thanks
