Jan 3, 2015that is if the bar is even on your screen... for some reason for some toons it goes away. never to be seen again. I'm having this issue on my wife's main. but saying it's not needed to be supported is like saying other button bars aren't needed to be supported. but you support them. I'm not seeing the logic.Posted in: General AddOns

Thank you. when it says Name i figured the name od my addon was Currency so that's what I put. it never asked for Version number. Anyway I think I have it fixed now for both of my addons. thanks again.
Dec 12, 2010How do i format my .toc file so that the Curse client will recognize the latest version?Posted in: Need Help?
This is my .toc and I have tried both ## Version and ## X-Curse-Packaged-Version to no avail.
Currently the Curse client shows "Currency" for my Version when as you can see below the version is clearly stated as 6.1 2 different ways. Apparently the curse client is looking at something else. but what that is I'm at a loss to say. I have tried looking at other addons for a clue and have drawn a blank.
## Interface: 40000
## Title: Currency
## Notes: Displays all of the current toons currencies with just a mouseover of either the Icon on the mini map or your backpack
## Author: Greenhorns on Vek'Nilash
## Version: 6.1
## X-Curse-Packaged-Version: 6.1
## SavedVariables: angle, miniMap

Dec 11, 2010nmbr5 posted a message on Hooking an on enter event to a stnadard UI element.for an add on Enhancement I'm working on I need to hook an on enter event to MainMenuBarMackpackButton but my experience is limited and I'm having trouble with this. is it even possible to hook an event to a frame the ad don didn't create?Posted in: Need Help?
If not I may have to poll the size of MainMenuBarMackpackButton and create an invisible frame over the MainMenuBarMackpackButton and use an on enter event for that frame. For efficient code if I do not need to create a frame I do not want to.
Any help, thoughts on the subject would be appreciated.
