You live in the dark ages, apparently. Websites which require JS are very much "standard" these days.

posted a message on I need help fixing getting my addon readdy! :/
Please stop re-posting your question in different threads. If someone knows the answer and is willing to help, they will. Posting it every day in a different spot is not going to help.

Just ignore it. Its a miniscule optimization some developers do, but you don't have to, and especially if you're just starting out developing Lua AddOns, then just don't do anything with it. :)

Thats not a WA error, but something that randomly breaks in the UI. Usually reloading the UI fixes it.

Actually what the Terms of Service say is 60 days within redemption, which hasn't ever been exceeded for me (its also what it always said).

It did happen occasionally that it skipped one month in the summer, presumably the person doing it was on vacation. ;)

posted a message on New packager suggestions
This is only a problem when you use disembedded libraries, which is not something thats really recommended for the general user, so go deal with it yourself. :)

Libraries like this should be Load-On-Demand anyway, so they wouldn't load in the game anymore when they are no longer used.

posted a message on Standalone packager for your Git project
I very rarely have any problems with either my repository or the packager. You must all be special. :p

But using CF is a valid choice to escape this WoWAce policy if you don't like it.

wowace doesn't allow zip file uploads, which is a policy I personally like, as it ensures that everyone uses the repositories properly.

posted a message on So much spam...
I think the fonts in this forum are much smaller by default.

Additionally, the new ones seem to behave quite sanely when just increasing the zoom on that website, using 150% gives quite big fonts which still fit nicely on the screen for me (not that I would need it)

With a darker color theme it looks pretty good imho. Cannot cater to everyones special needs while still making it look good for the 99% I guess.

posted a message on Mapster: Official Thread
FWIW, I use Mapster at all times and the buttons work fine for me.
There is one known limitation, that is if you use the map size toggle in the title bar of the map window, it'll break the button. Unfortunately, due to the way the map and the quest things are integrated, this is rather hard to avoid.

    Quote from jlam
Just to clarify, so if I do manual uploads of ZIP files, then there is no way to provide a "-nolib" ZIP file that can be used by Curse Client?

No, the flag is not settable by you.

Rumor has it that there will be a "beta" version in mid-February, and the launch be a few weeks after.

    posted a message on LibActionButton-1.0
PSA: LibActionButton-1.0 now uses LibButtonGlow-1.0 for the spell activation alerts, due to a taint bug when using the Blizzard APIs (or even the Blizzard template).

If you use LibActionButton-1.0 in your project, you should include LibButtonGlow-1.0 as well, otherwise the glow effects will no longer show (it will however not error out).
