    posted a message on Curseforge localization generator double backslash issue
    Hi,

    Since I don't have access to 'Report Issues' on top of this site (403 Forbidden) I thought i would at least try here.

    I have translations with regular expressions, containing unicode characters, which i broke down to bytes. Something like:

    L["Matcher_ICD_Pattern"] = "^Équipé\194\160: Chaque fois que vous réussissez vos attaques, vous avez une chance de gagner un bonus de ([%d,%. ]+) a?u? ?s?c?o?r?e? ?d?e?\195?\160? ?l?a?\226?\128?\153? ?(.-) pendant (%d+) s%. %((%d+)%% de chances, (%d+)\194\160s de temps de recharge%)$"

    which when i upload it to Localization on curseforge, then gets generated into the output file as:

    L["Matcher_ICD_Pattern"] = "^Équipé\\194\\160: Chaque fois que vous réussissez vos attaques, vous avez une chance de gagner un bonus de ([%d,%. ]+) a?u? ?s?c?o?r?e? ?d?e?\\195?\\160? ?l?a?\\226?\\128?\\153? ?(.-) pendant (%d+) s%. %((%d+)%% de chances, (%d+)\\194\\160s de temps de recharge%)$"

    that of course does not work -.-

    is this intended? is there any way around it (other than gsub(x, "\\\\", "\\"))?
