    posted a message on ace options table error
    My mod options have been working no problem and I can't think of anything I changed that would have borked them up but I am getting this error which really makes no sense to me:

    7x AceConfigDialog-3.0\AceConfigDialog-3.0-54.lua:1796: 54AceConfigRegistry-3.0-13:ValidateOptionsTable(): MorgDKP2.args.dkpmodules.args.type: expected a table, got a string

    It says dkpmodules.args.type is expected to be a table but the types are all strings are they not? ie "toggle", "header", "group", "range" Am I reading that error wrong?

    posted a message on Addon comms changes
    Just tried again at lunch and everything was working normally so I assume they patched it up. And I am not doing anything but what I did before which is registering with acecomm.

    Quote from egingell
    If you read the previous posts, it's not when zoning, it's when talking to other clients that are not in the same zone.

    Not from my testing. I tested in a raid with 2 members. Through all testing the other raid member was in felwood if i remember right. I stood outside the instance and did a version check. Worked for both members. Zone into BRD and do version check. Only I reply. ReloadUI (still in BRD) and do version check. Both reply properly. Zone out and again only I reply.

    As far as fixing the mod I don't think any changes are needed unless I am misunderstanding acecomm. If I am registering my comms with acecomm3 using:

    self:RegisterComm("MorgDKP2MorgBid", "OnMorgBidCommReceive")

    I assume acecomm3 is registering with blizz so I don't have to manually use RegisterAddonMessagePrefix() myself.

    If I do a /dump GetRegisteredAddonMessagePrefixes() I am showing my mod as registered.

    So I guess I will quit trying to "fix" my mod lol. As soon as you zone addon messages quit working:(

    Is acecomm being fixed to handle this so each addon doesn't have to manually call it?

    posted a message on AceConfig-3.0 inpit type question.
    blahexample = {
                                type = "input",
                                name = L["Blah"],
                                desc = L["Example of blah."],
                                get = function() return self.db.profile.blah end,
                                set =     function(info, v) self.db.profile.blah = v end,
                                validate = function(info, v) return v ~= "" end,
                                order = 130
                            },

    The value will be automatically displayed by the get function as above. If you want it to have a certain value by default then set it in your saved vars file ie self.db.profile.blah = value

    Have you been thinking about any possible better way to track lock stones? If the lock doesn't have a stone in their inventory we can't track their CD. And they tend to forget lol
