    I'd like to add some code to Nudist that would make my toon do emotes just when s/he gets naked.

    What I'm doing now is using a macro:

    /nudist
    /cleartarget --I don't necessarily want my toon to do emotes with other toons--
    DoEmote(GetRandomArgument("cold","shimmy","moon","sexy"--and other emotes--))
    Of course, this macro emotes each time I strip and redress. I would rather modify the lua of Nudity than create two macros (two buttons or modifiers).

    Does anyone have a suggestion how I can add some lua to the addon to get the result I'm looking for?

    I'm just nitpicky when it comes to my UI :P

    For some strange reason, i'd rather see "AFK (1.30)" than "Away (1.30)", and "DND" instead of "Busy".

    I want to see some things on my Target Unit Frame, and less info on my Unit Frame.

    I can tell when I'm dead, a ghost, feigned dead, on a taxi etc., so I'd rather not see that info on my Unit Frame. But, I would like the option of seeing that on my Target's Unit Frame.

    Does that make sense?

    I searched, but haven't come across a way to show my target is "AFK" and have a time they are AFK. I did find out, however, how to show they are "Away (time)" though. So, I guess that will do, lol.

    I also see how I can make what I want class colored. Thanks for your input!

    Well, for this unlearned lua learner wannabe, I successfully figured out how to color code my afk and dnd messages on my Player and Target Unit Frames.

    What I would like to do now is make the "Away (*time*)" say "AFK (*time*)", and the "Busy" say "DND", all the while staying ClassColor-coded.

    Is that possible?

    I've tried putting it into various areas in the Mapster.lua and BattleMap.lua, but still get no result.
    Meh, I've even tried writing a new addon, but haven't been able to get that to work either.

    Hi everyone, what I'm trying to do is have the BattlefieldMinimap appear above my Combat Log, which I have placed on the bottom right side of my screen. The Battlemap is shown as being on the "background" strata, and the Combat Log is on the same strata according to /framestack. So, whenever I put the Battlemap in the same corner as my Combat Log, the Battlemap stays -behind- the Combat Log.

    I'm trying to attach a panel to the Battlemap so that I can bring it to a higher strata and thus effectively hide the Combat Log. I've successively attached the panel, but can't bring the map's strata up. What happens is the panel hides the map and log whenever I raise the panel's strata.

    Is there any way to bring the Battlemap's strata up higher than "background"?

    I'm sorry to bother, but which file? I searched the embedded library folder and the main pitbull folder for "300" and "horizontal" in all the lua files but didn't see what I should modify.

    Thanks for all of your ideas. I'll tinker around some more with the macros, /clicking xbuttons, and looking at some other addons (BC, autobar, macrosequencer). I may even try out Trinity Bars, but I've grown used to Bartender.

    I still need to figure out what Baud Consumables swaps for when I enter combat. At first, it looked as if Food switched in Heal Potions. However, even when I put "Major Combat Healing Potion" after "Super Healing Potion", it still makes me consume the Major Combat Healing Pot. If I could figure out how to write and understand lua, I'd try to make an addon that lets me choose which items to use first, second, third... and have a visual display of how many are left. That way I could have food and pots/bandages on one button. Something is definitely evading me in the BC addon. I'm slowly learning more of the code, but man.... it is a foreign language to me.

    I'm of those joystick mashers (xbox 360 with pinnacle), so I only use the mouse to click things when I'm dead or when there is very little action on the screen. I'd use the normal keyboard but it gives me serious cramps. I still remember the days I'd sit there shaking my fingers after each battle LOL.

    As for hiding bars, I do that too. The bottom bar has the only two somewhat frequently clicked skills on either end (flare and volley) with the food, bandage and drink in the middle and visible so that I can see how much I've used up. The bar on the right (with the hearth and slower mount to keep up with lowbies i'm with) pages to several other bars with different things on them (like tradeskills and a raid bar with dismiss pet, buff food, etc). I use my mouse's side button (coded to [shift]) and the mousewheel to page. I have another faded bar above the bottom bar that I put my skettis/halaa bombs on and other use-for-x-quest items. In short, its a kind of temporary action bar.

    I'll have to give out any findings after the busy holidays though. Until then, if any of you come up with some more clever options, keep us informed. Thanks.

    Thanks for your reply, it makes sense.
    I had been using Baud Consumables but each type of item seems to take one button (Healing pots are one, food is another, etc). Like you said, a macro is a feasible option.

    PT3 is something I had started looking at yesterday, along with AutoBar. PT3 is quite daunting for the lua challenged like myself. AutoBar... still working on it to see if it will do what I want.

    As you can see, I only like to have very few buttons showing. At the bottom are my two (i really don't want more if possible) buttons for drinking and eating. With my macro, I can keep it at two, but can't see what is next on the list when I run out. BC is cool, in that it switches the different items visually, but I'd have to put more buttons down there to see what is going on. If there was just a way to get BC (or another addon) to have one button that would show the best item to eat out of combat, and then show the best item when in combat...

    I'll try and tinker with your method though =D

    Any thoughts?
