I personally hate the lib so any opinion would be biased, but I find it comical it's doing a who for a guild member, for whatever reason. I'm going to assume it's probably the addon in question's fault though.

My addon is not doing a who for a guild member. It's doing a who for a guild that my alt is not a member of.

I still have this problem with a addon I started.
After a while LibWho and /who stops working.

The addon does this query every 60 secons.

    lib:Who('g-' .. guildname, {queue = wholib.WHOLIB_QUERY_QUIET, timeout = 0, callback = UpdateText})
I can't find the reson why it hangs or how make it working again without a /reloadui.
I also tried lib:Reset() but it does not help.

I agree, but I believe its weird in English too^^
You could also play with the English game version like I do.

Btw: I like my wired German spelling, I do it deliberately but thanks for the fix^^

    Goto

if you want to help with the localization.

    I have already done German.

ah thanks, I didn't expect something related to this in LibQTip-1.0 because I thought non clickable tooltips do not need that.

I found the ldb-data-object-usage howto on the old (1.0 version) documentation very useful.
    http://www.wowace.com/projects/libqtipclick-1-0/pages/ldb-data-object-usage/

I did it exactly like in the example but the tooltip sometimes didn't hide.
It seems when I move the mouse cursor out of the tooltip to fast the tooltip's OnLeave is never called.

Once I added a custom cellleavehandler that also calls the HideTooltip function (from the example code) the problem was gone.

    tooltip:SetCallback("OnLeave", LeaveHandler)

    local function LeaveHandler(event, cell, arg)
    QTC.OnLeave(event, cell, arg)
    HideTooltip()
    end

    Anyone else had that problem?
Maybe you could add a short example how to display the tooltip to the new getting started page.

I don't want icons with different spacing on my bar. The problem with picoButtons is that it's icons are just not meant to be shown on a fubar like display.

The actual icons are too small because of the huge border and they have additional spacing. So even if you set spacing to 0 (global or custom) there will be a gap between them.

A simple solution is to just modify the texture coordinates of the picoButtons icons.

Open picoButtons.lua and change the 3. line from
    local microcoord = {0, 1, 22/64, 1}
    to:
    local microcoord = {6/32, 26/32, 31/64, 57/64}
you can also play around with the values to your linking.

But one problem remains, the icons are not transparent. So if your bar background is not black you need to make transparent icons. Then it will look even better than FuBar - MicroMenu.

That said, I'm fairly certain (correct me if I'm wrong) that ChocolateBar shows label text for data sources if there is no text. It would be nice if this was toggle-able, i.e., show the text if there is some but otherwise show nothing.

Yes but text is a *required* field for any data source. If one data object does it wrong you can easily disable the text for it by dragging it to the toggle text drop point.

Well given my new understanding of how the label/value/suffix thing works in LDB, I'd like to reiterate my request for label support, particularly something like the bit of code OrionShock posted a few posts ago.

Why do you need label support?
Is it not clear form the icon and text what a data source does and which addon it probably is?

    About the label war^^
I also don't see a reason why the label field should be required.

For ChocolateBar I chose to hide the existence of labels from the user.
Since most launchers don't have a text field I check the label and display that as text. But only if the DO does not provide text and the user has show text explicitly enabled for the launcher.

Why is there a value + suffix field in the spec?
Just to save the DO author from adding 2 simple options about how the user wants to see the text displayed?

posted a message on FinalFantasylization Instance and Battleground music bug
it tracked this down some time ago.
It is a bug since patch 2.2 or so.
Music played by PlayMusic() is cut of as soon as there are playing more sounds than there are sound channels.

It helps you set your sound channels to maximum and disable hardware sound but in a BG or 25man raid are just to many sounds played at a time if you are close to combat.

I also found a nice way to reproduce this.
All you need is these two macros:

    /run PlayMusic("Sound\\Music\\GlueScreenMusic\\WotLK_main_title.mp3")
    /run for i=1,63 do PlaySoundFile("Sound\\interface\\levelup2.wav") end
First play the music and then hit the second macro.
It will sound awful but guess what? The music will break if the number of loops is higher than your current sound channels.

(With enabled hardware sound the sound channels remain low regardless of how hight I set them, at least for me.)

I made a post on the EU forums about this but that never gehts to the devs. Would be great if you could report this on the us ui and macro forum.

I was afraid some one might request support for labels someday oO

Personally I dont like labels because its easy to guess the name of the feed from the text it provides. For feeds without text (e.g launchers) ChocolateBar puts the label in the text filed.
That way ChocolateBar is easier to configure, but I think about it.

posted a message on free premium account for addon authros?
Any chance addon authors get a free premium account on curse?

I think I would be fair because our work is an important part of the curse platform right?
It would also encourage authors to upload their addons on curse if the have it only on other sites and thus make the client better (more addons).

Of curse there would have to be some protection from user's uploading useless addons just to get free premium access. Maybe at lest some points in the Rewards Program.

    So what do you think?

You only need to drag one to the "Center Align" icon. Once you have one in the center the others will stick to it.
