The latest version of ButtonFacade (3.3.315) is throwing up errors.
Rolling back to the previous version and it is ok again.

It seems other addons that use this have also had problems.
    Something to do with:
"ButtonFacade will no longer be registered in the global namespace. Authors will have to use AceAddOn or IsAddOnLoaded() check for it"

If I choose Beta under Global settings to look for add-ons and lets say a certain add-on then becomes a release version.
Will having global set to beta still pick up the new release version?
    Or
Do I have to keep switching between Release & Beta to check my add-ons for the latest versions?

    Hope that makes sense :)

I've been manually downloading mine from Curse until I'm seeing better overall feedback on the Curse Client. I'd guess it would be up to the CC developer(s) whether this became or already is an option in their client (assuming you're even using it?).

If you want them all in the same folder, you may be able to move them all under the Pitbull folder and rename them to remove the "Pitbull_" prefix on the folder names, but I've never tried it, so you're on your own there. :p

    Nah don't work tried it.
Still will not work though, deleted single 'Pitbull' and manually installed latest but no joy, no unit frames or anything :(

Keep to the working version I have I guess :)

For Pitbull, if you have the subfolders inside the Pitbull folder itself, delete the whole Pitbull folder and reinstall it. Having them in 2 places at the same time is most definitely causing the problems. With them outside the folder, you can enable/disable the separate modules from the Addons menu, so ones you never use won't ever be loaded in the first place (i.e.: better setup IMO). If they're inside the Pitbull folder and just deactivated through Pitbull itself, they still get loaded anyway.

Is this an option as I prefer them all in one folder, easy to manage for me.

The release from a few days ago had one folder called Pitbull with lots of sub-folders and it worked.

The latest Pitbull V3.2.1 has lots of Pitbull folders but all the sub-folders are in the interface folder as Pitbull_xxx, this does not work.

Have I got to start all over again sorting my UI?

Tried that and the same :(

Relase r1744 had one folder called Pitbull with lots of sub-folders and it worked.
The latest Pitbull V3.2.1 has lots of Pitfbull folders but all the sub-folders are in the interface folder as Pitbull_xxx.
So it is very messey folder wise and it does not work, guess this is nothing to do with CC though.

    Ok I now have a problem :)
As mentioned before I chose to delete all add-ons and manually install each one from CC.
So far so good the few that needed updates where fine... untill now.

Pitbull needed an update today so I did, but now instead of the single 'Pitbull' folder I have over 20 'PitbullXXX' folders and you guesed it Pitbull does not now work.

I have a back of my Interface folder so copied it back from a 2 days old version (The one folder Pitbull) and it is fine works ok now.

CC however thinks it is the latest version and not the one from a few days ago.

What and how do i fix Pibull so it is the latest working single folder version please?

To get CC working ok for me I had to delete all my add-ons then selected/install them one by one in CC.
Not much of a problem as CC works ok now, so it was worth it I guess

My question is if I re-install my OS and install CC again what can I back up with CC so that I can just copy back rather than install my add-ons one by one again?

The resetting of auto installing addons was fixed. It has worked several version before, and an update broke the saving of the change. You could've gone in the registry and set it by hand but I wouldn't expect anyone to do it, malware wouldn't have given you the option.

I'm aware the scan addons at startup can pick up old and outdated versions of addons some times. Thats why the "Reinstall New Addons" option is disabled by default. It is also why you are prompted if you even want to turn scan addons at startup. Originally this feature was not even in the client, you were expected to click the links on the website or on the find an addon page to get addons in the list. Scan Addons at Startup ( and the reason why it only happened at startup and not periodically ) was designed to get you an import of your addons before you had used the client before, and prune it down from there.

I personally recommend not using the scan addons feature, starting with a blank list, and picking the addons to install.

The reason most people are getting broken versions of addons is because its getting really old ones when the "Reinstall New Addons" feature is enabled, otherwise scan addons at startup keeps the addons you already have and doesnt install broken crap.

Well I have turned everything and anything off that refers to "Auto/Reinstall"
I have also deleted my add-ons and re-selected/installed them via CC, so far everything runs ok.

Sorry but I have no faith in it... so far :(

I installed CC it asked me about which add-on's I want I picked the latest, so far so good.
I chose to update them all to see what happened.

CC updated about 80% of my add-ons, sadley most of them where not really the latest.
WAU had some at 2 days old CC installed ones for about 1.5 years ago, even though I picked the latest version.

So for me it does not perform its most basic function, updating add-ons.

Hope it is all working good soon, as it seems it is the only option... short of manually doing it.

I whould pay for Premium it worked as it should.

    Hay there,

When I install CC it scans my add-ons etc and it pops up suggesting which to install.
    Example:
    SCT - Damage
    sctd

    Which one is right?
I have looked at curse.com for information for the add-on suggested and pick what looks right.
How do I know the one I picked is the same one that WAU used in the past?

Thanks in advance for any advice.
