Promising alternative to CasterWeaponSwapper, however, it is causing GCDs when switching far too often, and it is swapping on other people's Spellsurge procs. Fix these (especially the latter) and it's a winner.

Stupid question: switching weapons in combat always triggers a GCD? If that's the case, there's nothing one can fix, right?

Does Manasurge still swap on other people's Spellsurge procs? I don't have a caster myself but I love the concept of this mod. Would love to recommend it to guildies if it works.

JWU dosent execute any .bat files at all, so im a little lost as to why this error comes up at all.

Could you upload your JWowUpdater.log somewhere i can read it. (After running JWU and getting this error)

    /Rolf

I've attached my jwowupdater.log to this post. I'm not sure if you can gleam anything useful from it. As far as I can tell, it's just trying to update/install LibPeriodicTable-3.1.

    P.S. It says
    Succesfully deleted: [C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\LibPeriodicTable-3.1]

but I don't believe that's true. My AddOns reside in
    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

I am getting the following error in Windows Vista x64, with UAC enabled.

******** Checking if split addons need updating ********
    ******* Starting SplitUpdate *******

LibPeriodicTable-3.1 was external version, but no-ext flag is set. Scheduling for update.
Name: LibPeriodicTable-3.1 Your Version: 69349.0, Latest: 69349.0 (Out of date)
    Updating....Error: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns\LibPeriodicTable-3.1\pt3lod.bat (Access is denied)

This error causes a never-ending loop (JWU keeps trying again and spitting out this same error).

I think the issue is that JWU is trying to execute the .BAT file at the wrong location? It should be the following for Vista users with UAC I think:
    C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\Interface\AddOns

Also, it might be helpful to have a way of stopping infinite loops so users can look at the error messages easily.

If I'm doing something wrong, please let me know. Thanks!

Does SmartRes only detect other people ressing if they are using SmartRes? A guildie told me SmartRes sometimes tries to res someone who is already being ressed by another healer.

posted a message on BigWigs plugin for Naj'entus: show those with <8500 hp
Would it be possible for someone to create a plugin for BigWigs that activates during the Naj'entus encounter? This plugin should display a frame that shows everyone with less than 8500 health and how much health they need to reach 8500 whenever Naj'entus casts Tidal Shield. Ideally, the plugin would take into account things like a Power Word: Shield, Major or Greater Frost Protection Potion in calculating who has below 8500 health and how much health they need to reach 8500.

I realize this is way beyond what BigWigs seeks to offer in its core. Hence this request for an optional plugin.

    Thanks in advance.

GearDPS can give you values besed on your own weights like ItemValue, if you choose to use custom weights. It also has built in algorithms that automatically give the optimal weights based on your current stats.

posted a message on JWowUpdater - A new java addons updater for ace2
I've noticed in the last day or two, JWowUpdater tells me all my addons are up-to-date even after a lot of changes have been committed to SVN. Has the frequency with which files on SVN are auto-packaged and placed on files.wowace.com been significantly reduced? Or is there something wrong with my updater?

I can confirm that the fix works. Could someone with SVN access commit it? This is a game-crashing bug.

I noticed! ;) Got any ETA on when it might be operative for melee classes?

ItemValue by itself works fine for melee.

    posted a message on FuBar_LatFPSFu
How come FuBar_LatFPSFu does not appear on http://files.wowace.com? You can find it here on SVN:
    http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/trunk/Fubar_LatFPSFu/

Is it because the name of the directory is Fubar_LatFPSFu while the addon name according to the TOC is FuBar_LatFPSFu? (Note the lower and upper case B).

For those who are wondering what it does:
this is a very stripped down version of FuBar_PerformaceFu.

The only thing it does ist showing Latency and FPS in a Fubar. That's the only thing I used
Fubar_PerformanceFu for, but since it's tracking so much more like memory usage (and cpu usage
when profiling) I decided to create this tiny addon. It updates twice a second instead of once like
Fubar_PerformanceFu but since it does much less during the update it takes much less cpu time.

Some of the code and the icon is directly taken from Fubar_PerformanceFu (hope that's ok) ;)

posted a message on Parrot? Link?
When damage events are merged together, it would be very helpful if the number of hits, crits, misses/resists along with the merged number (like MSBT does). I find that I miss seeing that information a lot when I Thunderclap.
