    There's a typo in the document: It says DCMA in the Footer and Header, not DMCA. Thought you might want to know

    posted a message on Take down notice?
    I have discovered that my addon is being posted to other websites other than the only one I upload it to (Curse). I was wondering if I could get any advice or tips on how one issues a take down notice?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm unfamiliar in such matters.

    A prior iteration of my UI. Working on a slightly different version, including my own unit frames. C&C welcome

    Oh, thank God, Nevcairiel! Thank you so much! That fixed it! XD

    And thanks to everyone else, too, who helped. It's greatly appreciated! :D

    Nope, still no joy, LinogeFly. Still only ChatFrame3Tab moves, but ChatFrame1Tab and ChatFrame2Tab stay put.

    ChatFrame1 and 2, by the way, are the standard chatframe and combat log. ChatFrame3 is a seperate window that displays guild/officer chat only. Don't know if that makes a difference.

    Again, thank you all so much for your suggestions so far. I think we've almost gotten this hammered out!

    Alright, I tried using ClearAllPoints() and that didn't change anything. Pushing it back to make the changes only after login, altered ChatFrame3Tab but not ChatFrame1Tab. It's at least working 50%. :D

    Just gotta figure out why ChatFrame1Tab doesn't want to work :(

    local x = CreateFrame("Frame")
    x:SetScript("OnEvent", function()
        ChatFrame1Tab:SetHeight(24)
        ChatFrame2Tab:SetHeight(24)
        ChatFrame3Tab:SetHeight(24)

        ChatFrame1Tab:ClearAllPoints()
        ChatFrame1Tab:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", ChatFrame1, "BOTTOMLEFT", -5, -6)

        ChatFrame3Tab:ClearAllPoints()
        ChatFrame3Tab:SetPoint("TOPLEFT", ChatFrame3, "BOTTOMLEFT", -5, -6)
    end)
    x:RegisterEvent("PLAYER_LOGIN")
    Tried both with and without dummy function for SetPoint. Still just makes them not show up at all :(

    Also, thank you guys so much for your help so far. This has been driving me crazy

    Main chunk of a chat mod (nChat, specifically). I'm not sure how make it delay until everything else finishes loading. I'm not sure how to better describe it than that.

    Thanks for the reply, Phanx. I actually tried setting the SetPoint command to a dummy function, and what winds up happening is that the Tabs just don't appear at all =X

    Any ideas?

    Currently, I'm trying to shift the Chat Tabs up and to the left slightly in order to skin them via Neav's !Beautycase addon. However, after setting the position via a "ChatFrame1Tab:SetPoint("BOTTOMLEFT", ChatFrame1, "TOPLEFT", -5, 5), the tabs don't appear to have moved, leading me to believe that something after the addon loads kicks it back to the way it was.

    If I move the ChatFrame1Tab while logged in via a "/script" command, it sets just fine until I reload, despite using the same command above.

    Anyone know how to rectify this?

    While not a desktop, it is something that I've themed myself from scratch (other than the texture borrowed from Neav, of course. Credit to them for those beautiful borders).

    Please note, that usually text under icons are hidden, I have them turned on so that I can identify apps while making the borders. As you can see, a few icons are not done yet. I'm still making them.

    I call it Nocturnal Theme :) Let me know what you think.

    I was wondering if there was some math to figure out the perfect scale and/or font size to make fonts look clean and sharp (much like the math to figure out the right UI Scale setting)? I'd appreciate any insight into this :)

    TY! got it working.. changed it to look like something neal posted long ago but never shared.. Just need some background fixes, and maybe change the scaling a bit..

    (IMG HERE)

    The thing I cant seem to do is add a good outline to the font.. And yes, the bar can be a bit slimmer, but Im not sure if I wanna do that :)

    Nice, been trying to figure out how to get it to look similar to that...would you mind sharing your code? I would be greatly appreciative :)
