    Has anyone talked to the admins at WoWI? I'd assume that something could be worked out with hosting a SVN on their site, they seem faily supportive of projects like this (Hell, they have an entire section set aside for Ace.)

    posted a message on AceRaidTracker again
    Bumping to get this idea in the front of people's minds again. I'd really like to see work on this start up, and (assumeing I find time) I intend to start work on it myself. I'm still very new to the codeing side of this stuff, so don't expect a beta any time soon.

    Still laying out the general framework/feature list; a checklist of things the mod must do.

    The obvious must-have features:

    -- Record join / leaveing of the raid. Also record how long people were offline / out of the raid. (Say someone joins, goes offline for an hour for dinner, then comes back later. One of my biggest issues with CTRT right now is the lack of this. Not just first join / last leave.)
    -- Record the zone. Have a list of raid zones defined and then the raid auto-titled based on the first matching zone it finds. Also the ability to name the raid yourself has to be in there. Manually Entered titles take priority over autotitles.
    -- Record loot and looter. Record the boss it was dropped from, add a price (entered either manually, or autoset from a predefined list of prices, probley use Periodic Table for automation part for people with fixed DKP systems).

    One idea I had for the design would be to create a modular system similar to oRA, that would allow differant DKP systems to be loaded as moduals. If that would be even worth the trouble I don't know, and I'm still kicking around alot of ideas in my head.

    I could try to play around with that and see, but then its one of those "if its not broke don't fix it" things. I'd just be adding more code to possibly break / cause bugs.

    It's not that hard to just assign "Select" to your left click now is it? :)

    kk Ill try this at home today. If its AH - then I suppose that AceHealSquishy code need to be rewriten if it prevents from clicktargeting

    AceHeal will competely take over your clicking functions for the frames it modifys. Just assign either "Select" or "TargetUnit" to your Left Click.

    Working as intended™ :P

    SmartBuff (http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4584) Auto-casts spells by hooking into the mouse-wheel scroll, and when you change targets (because both events are fired by a hardware event.)

    It shouldn't be *too* hard to write an auto-track mod if you hook those would it?

    Frames still not showing, I downgraded to version 1842, and it works great.

    Based on that, im guessing it's something in fix for the classmodifier problem you added that is stopping the frame from showing.

    I think FryGuy's suggestion is decent. One of my biggest beefs with the CTRA Emergency Moniter was how much it jumped around. I found myself just healing whoever was top or second without looking, becuase it was too hard to process the information the EM provided.

    The point of the EM in my mind is to show the top 10 people who need attention, sorting that much is almost overkill. If someone can't scan a tiny list of 10 people and make an intelligent decision on what to do, they need to learn2heal IMO. Perhaps just slowing down how fast the list jumps around or something would alleviate the problem?

    Eh, I like both ideas, but I'm not sure how effective either would be in reality.

    Just downloaded the latest SVN, and now its not even showing up. =/

    The mod seems to have loaded, I can change settings with the slash commands, but the frame itself dosen't show up.

    I'm getting this error on my priest seemingly randomly. (Perhaps on someone joining / leaveing the raid? I'll pay more attention and edit later)

    core.lua:644: attempt to perform arithmetic on field `classmodifier' (a nil value)

    Tested it alot this evening and I really had troubles getting the clickcasting to work. It worked but i had to click multiple times on the frame to get it going. Otherwise it worked like it should, no errors.

    AceHeal has the same problem, feels like I have to click a few times for it to read. I'm assumeing it has something to do with the SquishyCustomClick code.

    Creat "AceHealSquishy.lua" and paste all this in there.

    AceHealSquishy = AceHeal:new({
    	name     = AceHealLocals.Title,
    	description  = "AceHeal Squishy extension",
    	version    = AceHealLocals.Version,
    	releaseDate  = "5-16-2006",
    	aceCompatible = "100",
    	author    = "Kyahx"

    })

    function AceHealSquishy:Enable()
    	AceHeal:Enable(this)
    		if getglobal("Squishy") then
    			SquishyCustomClick = function(button, unit) AceHeal:OnClick(button, unit) end
    			self.Msg("Click-Casting Enabled for Squishy")
    		end
    end

    AceHealSquishy:RegisterForLoad()

    Then edit the "AceHeal.toc" file and add "AceHealSquishy.lua" to the bottom of the list.

    Bam...AceHeal support.

    (The code was ripped from Delva's PerfectRaid Extension, credits to him for a majority of the code.)

    I believe this could be done with Visor. How to go about doing so is beyond me (I just picked up Visor about 30 seconds ago, still playing with it.)
