Kal, you definetely need to make an addon for that.

    *chuckle*

I thought that might be the case. I'm a complete lua newbie though, so I might not manage it any time soon, but I'll take a look at some of the existing addons and see if I can figure it out. Wonder if there's an event for player_got_flagged.... Hmm.

I may be missing something, but I'm trying to set up a function whereby my CloseGnome will automatically remove my PvP trinket while it is on cooldown and replace it with something else, then switch back once the cooldown expires.

Ideally I'd like to only do this while I am flagged.

Is it possible at the moment (and I'm just being dumb) or do I need something extra?

posted a message on Vendor price info mod?
    Hi all,

I'm trying to find a mod that will add information on vendor prices for items to the tooltip. I've been using "Informant" from Auctioneer, but I'm trying to phase out all my "large" mods. Mendelev is great for putting other information in the tooltip, but I'd really like to know e.g. which quest reward vendors (or disenchants) for the best value.

    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,

posted a message on Chronometer (Ace2'ed AceTimer)
Is it possible, with Chronometer, to get vicinity CC spells to show up? For example, if a mage in your party sheeps a mob that you don't happen to have targeted, I'd still find it useful to see a timer for that sheep. Is it possible already or should I call it a feature request? :)

Kal, not sure but can always do a switch to Cartographer add-on, is awesome and don't see any problem with it.

It's awesome and it's ACE, but doesn't have all my map notes - such as rare-spawn locations inside an instance for example. I need metamap for those, as afaik there is no note import feature?

Unless things have changed since I tried it a week or so ago (or maybe I'm just ignorant!)

EDIT: removed the map quality comment as it simply wasn't true (and even if it was, I could just replace the .blp files - duh!)

I'm not sure whether this is a bug with Skinner or with MetaMap, but when I have MetaMap skinned, the gray gradient overlay fills my entire screen, rather than just the area taken up by the map.

    Any ideas?

    From the ReadMeDammit:

Copy these folders into your WoW addon path, open WinAceUpdater and choose mark installed addons.

So yes, copy the folders into your Addons directory, and update the Libs like any other Addon.
I'm a fairly intelligent invdividual, and frankly, this readme is confusing as fuck. I've written a few Ace addons. (that you probably haven't seen, that I've only released it to friends)

spell it out in teh dumb letters. Step by step, for real.

    You're being sarcastic, right?

    posted a message on Antagonist
It's entirely possible that I'm just being extremely dense, but I'm really struggling to get my Antagonist/Chronometer combo to give me the same functionality that I had with NECB. The main things I'm after are vicinity CC/stun duration monitoring, monitoring of my spells with a duration, and of course the targetted enemy cast bar itself.

So far I've got spell duration and the ECB going, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get vicinity CC's going.

Like I said I'm sure it's just me being thick, but could I get some hints & tips for configuration?

    Cheers,

    Kal

posted a message on ag_UnitFrames - suggestions, requests and temp fixes thread
I seem to have been able to cause a problem with the party frames by unlocking them and moving them around. Specifically, I'm trying to set up a layout where my party frames are lined up horizontally across the top of the screen, the auras are in two rows beneath them, and any party pets are underneath their owners.

There doesn't seem to be any facility to do this built-in (feature request, please!) so I've tried to do it by unlocking the party frames and positioning everything manually. However, when members leave the group, if the only remaining party member (apart from me) has a pet, a problem is caused with the display of the party pet frames.

An example - earlier today I set up a 4 man group. I dragged the (unlocked) party member frames to the top of my display and aligned them horizontally. The party included a couple of non-pet users and a warlock, who's pet frame I placed beneath the buff display area of his frame. When the other party members left, the warlock's frame shifted to the left (as expected), but I had an additional copy of his pet frame appear. One instance stayed where it had been before - under the space where the warlock's frame used to be (i.e. before it shifted left) - and here's the real fault - a duplicate copy of this pet frame appeared in the very center of my screen. All frames were draggable, but I had two copies of this party pet frame for the same unit.

I hope that's enough information to help you track this weirdness down - let me know if I can supply any other details.

Feature requests - 3 things I'd really like to see in the mod:

1: a built-in method for aligning the party group horizontally, instead of vertically. Options to grow left or right.
2: related options with the party pet frame - ideally I'd like to see party pet frames automatically grouped with their owners party frame, and correctly positioned depending on the aura display settings (e.g. if pet set to display under owner frame, automaticall move down to leave space if auras are also set to display below the party frame.)
3: virtual frames so I can set my layout up without needing real live party (or raid!) members! Please!
