    posted a message on IceHUD
Just starting using this add-on today. I tried using DaHud and UnderHood but neither of them seemed to have a configurable font setting. The default layout is definitely the best I've seen so far, and going forward, I don't see any real reason to change the default settings in anyway.

That said, I'm going to be that jerk that uses your awesomely written add-on for a few hours (for free, I might add) and runs off a massive list of all the things he'd like done differently (sorry). :P

    - TargetInfo should really just be called "Info" and it should be found nested in the TargetHealth section (just like Text and Icon sections can be found nested in PlayerHealth). It should also only have settings for those 3 DogTag lines and their positions.

    - All the Buffs and DeBuffs stuff in TargetInfo should probably just be sitting in their own little
section, nested in right next to Info and Text.

    - Player, Pet, TargetOfTarget and Focus all need to have these Info and Buff sections.

    - It would be just a bit more visually pleasing if the individual bars could be moved vertically. I have my pet and focus bars' scale set to 0.8, but the bottoms of those bars are flush with the scale 1 bars. How much cooler would it look if I could (at least manually) center them all vertically? :) Easily the suggestion I hope you implement the most (the others are admittedly somewhat tedious).

I can't seem to make the TargetOfTarget bar not be the same width as the gap between the left and right halves (without changing the scale). It just a little thing that doesn't do it for me, so I have that bar hidden. But there's no other way to display that information, and I'd really really love to be able to do those 3 DogTag lines for the TargetOfTarget, as well as for Target.

Anyhow, the kudos in this thread is much deserved, it really is fantastic work. If anything I've suggested can already be achieved, then will someone please let me know. Cheerio!

posted a message on CastYeller - announces to your party/raid important spells you cast.
I noticed the Soul Well stuff is fixed now, yay!

Yet another suggestion (sorry!): it'd be super cool if the raid-icon for a spell's target was used in the announce. Like when I'm Banishing the enemy marked as Triangle, it says "<<< Banishing {Triangle} Water Elemental: Interrupted >>>" or something. As usual, definitely something we should be able to turn on and off.

EDIT: Broadcast channel settings are invisible and not obeyed (mod doesn't do any announcing at all) until you being to start changing the selected spells checkboxes. Simply toggling a checkbox is enough to make the channel settings visible, configurable, and start the mod working again. I did wipe out my WTF files, not sure what caused this to happen.

posted a message on Chatter- Ace3 chat mod (was Chatterbox)
I love that Chatter can highlight my name whenever it appears in a chat frame. So handy for raid assignments and DPS charts. One tiny little change that would make this feature even better is if it would also (maybe optionally) highlight whole-word occurrences of the word "you". In a sea of emotes, this would help me find all the emotes targetting me specifically.

I use the "Set Main" functionality on basically everyone I meet, especially guildies. The actual display of this information (eg. AltName[MainName]: blah blah blah) doesn't seem to work now. Any chance we can get this going again? I'd prefer it if the MainName was class-colored according to the Main's class, not the Alt's class, and I think that's how it was when it was working last. I guess this could be my config, but it just seems like this gets broken and fixed all the time.

I like keeping my chat windows in exactly the same positions between characters. I like having just one UI layout and its great when I only have to change one to change them all. Would it be possible to have a Chatter setting that preserves the location of the chat windows so that all my characters always have the same window locations?

I would like to be able to entirely disable text alerts.

I'm not sure if this is what I did to fix it, but I have the "Output" of SpellReminder currently set to "None". I don't have any text alerts appearing at all, for either expiring or expired effects. Try it out and see if this addresses your issue.

I'd love to be able to set this per-spell, and if this is a feature that's already built-in then can someone please let me know. :)

Ummm, anyone else noticed that Warlock Ritual of Souls is no longer getting announced?

Also, I'd love to be able to customise the brackets. Perhaps give us 2 "book-end" text boxes where we can type in anything we want. I like the "<<<" and ">>>", but when multiple people use this mod, it'd be nice to find some way to stand out.

And yeah, when changing profiles, parts of the UI vanish. I can't remember what it's called without looking at it, but the bottom section on the first tab in the options is something I remember that disappears. I pretty much get errors thrown whenever I change between profiles and I have broadcast set to "whisper" and "say" only, and funny announces off.

Bongos3 does indeed let you create more than 10 bars, provided they were shorter than usual. The maximum number of buttons that Blizzard stores on the server is 120. Most bar mods (including the Bartenders, Bongo2 and Dominos) and the default Blizzard UI have these buttons displayed in lots of 12 (10 different bars). Bongos3 still worked with the 120 button maximum, but allowed you to distribute those buttons in any number and arrangement you saw fit. So you could theoretically have 120 different bars with Bongos3 (if they each only had a single button).

It's an interesting idea, but not many bar mods seem to pursue this means of customisation. Funnily enough, the Bongos author seems to have left out this feature in Dominos, which is supposed to be a more efficient rewrite of all the features he (personally) likes in Bongos.

This has to be best mod of it's kind, and I don't actually use the "reminder" part. :) The bars alone are better then anything else I've come across.

A few suggestions: (hey, we all have ideas, don't we?) :)

    - Cooldowns should be managed exactly like spells. I mean, they should be detected, and we should be able to recolor them, and have custom groups, and all that stuff. Everything that we can do to spells, we should be able to do to cooldowns (including making them "inactive").
    - And yeah, detecting any cooldown (including items and tradeskills) would be awesome. Combined with my first suggestion, it would be totally up to us hide unwanted cooldowns.
    - We should be able to turn off reminders on a per spell (or cooldown) basis. I don't need to be reminded about every single buff or debuff, just one or two. So for me, some way to set new spells to default to "no reminder" would be nice.

My first 2 suggestions are my big wants. That last one I don't care too much about, because I have all reminders disabled. But maybe I would use them if I only got the ones I wanted. Hmmmm. :)

Thanks heaps Toadkiller. I left out that I love the mod. Keep up the great work! :) /hug /hug

Also, I love the reagent counts, great idea. But it would be nice to be able to turn off the denominator. All of my Class Pet and Warlock Stones abilities have "11/11", "5/5", etc as their reagent count, which doesn't even fit in each button so it looks a little messy.

I'm not saying remove it altogether, perhaps make it optional? I love the reagent count, but it needn't be so complete. I'm actually not sure what "11/11" is supposed to represent. :)

posted a message on AutoBar by Toadkiller (official thread)
Noticed that Priests' Inner Fire got dropped from the Class Buffs button a while ago. I'd really like this back in the default behaviour. Druids' Omen Of Clarity and Nature's Grasp are still on the Class Buffs button, so it's not as though this button is only for buffs you can share.

The expand/collapse buttons for the different AutoBar sections in RockConfig no longer show up until I open up the Waterfall config. Once I do, I usually just use the Waterfall config, while it's up.

It would be so very awesome if I could drag items from the AutoBar to my button bars. My lock only has 2 curses on his button bar at a time, and it would be great if I could use the Class Debuff button on AutoBar as a place to choose these from (so much faster than using Blizzard's spell book).

Love this mod. I've gone from Bartender3 to Bongos2 to Bongos3 to Bartender4. I'm sure you hate being compared to Bongos3 by now. :)

Things I've seen mentioned here and agree with:
    - the alignment/snapping stuff working
    - optional Bongos3-style debuff/buff highlighting

    Other things I'd love:
    - Druid Moonkin and Tree stances are considered different (just like in Bongos3)
    - Blizzard's macro conditionals used for paging (not sure any mods do this yet, holy grail)
    - checkbox for "Button Grid" on Pet Bar, currently this is only available for normal bars

    Bugs I've noticed
    - Keyring button shouldn't still be visible upon zoning/reloading after the Bag Bar was disabled (not sure how to repeat this bug)

posted a message on MoBuffs Official Thread
Hey there Pachelbel (named after the composer?) :) Two requests for your wonderful mod:

1 - Can the buffs that I can do, but aren't currently applied, be highlighted in red or something? It would be nice if I could check and be reminded instantly that I've forgotten something, instead of having to wade through line by line.

2 - Warlocks that have sacrificed their pets shouldn't be reminded that they need a pet. In these cases, the warlock will have a buff that is specific to the pet they destroyed:
    Imp: Burning Wish http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=18789
    Voidwalker: Fel Stamina http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=18790
    Succubus: Touch of Shadow http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=18791
    Felhunter: Fel Energy http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=18792
    Felguard: Touch of Shadow http://www.wowhead.com/?spell=35701
Not sure if the WowHead spell codes are the same as the Blizzard ones, hope it helps. If the warlock has any of the above buffs, then he shouldn't cause a "Pet" warning.

Aside from those tiny nags, I love this mod heaps. My guild has a buff-nazi and it's nice to stay one step ahead. :)

posted a message on Future Replacment for NECB
I actually like the fact that NECB is a bloated Swiss-Army knife. I really really love the fact that I have a single status bar anchor point, and all of my timers descend (or ascend) from that single anchor regardless of what type of timer they are.

Now, if this is possible using the WoW Ace alternatives for the individual timers, then please let me know!

But as far as I can tell, using all the different mods that cover NECB's functionality will mean I have multiple anchor points. This means I'd need more screen real estate to position each of these anchor's (and I think I'd need at least 3 different mods to replace NECB) just to make sure they never overlap.

Having a single modular mod with support for collapsing any combination of bars to a single anchor would be awesome. I'd be interested to see something like NECB but with additional support for ability and item cooldowns.
