Points reset to smaller distributions at the beginning of each month, then grow in size toward the end. Could it be that? Nothing's happened to my points that I wasn't expecting.
My earnings have since increased to around 33% higher than what they were originally, but this is likely since I released a new mod which gained a decent bit of traction. I hear that prior to the platform being bought by OverWolf, CF was losing money. This might be the true reason for the points cut.
The following was posted in the developer discord, specifically regarding this month's large slump.

I'm running out of words to place here to start a news post!
For those of you concerned about points, points are dynamic! This means they change based on the money in the pool from advertisers! The start of the year has a normal global slump in advertising budgets.
Things will improve as the year moves on, don't worry, this wasn't some major planned cut to reduce rewards. This is how points will flow & fluctuate through the year."

Same thing has impacted everyone. Hopefully this helps!
I had read that before. For me, the issue stemmed from usually missing days toward the end of the month, which caused the points to be accumulated more quickly. Now that I've been missing days earlier in the month, the points were simply being added at a slower pace. I have since realized this still ends adding up to the missing days.
I've noticed this too, a day will seemingly go missing from time to time without compensation for the day. Usually when a day goes missing I get properly compensated. Recently, this has seemed to not be the case.
That happened once to me when I uploaded file, deleted the file, then uploaded a different file that was the same size. Try changing something by a couple bytes and see if that fixes anything.

By list- do you mean on your dashboard or in the mod search?
