Just experienced this issue in v1.3-beta-1. It had previously been working fine, but now some of my set gear is being dispatched to the generic "Armor" category. This was after hours of continuous play. After reloading my UI, the problem was resolved. Is there any more diagnostic information I can provide if it happens again?
Just found this addon last night. It's outstanding! Just what I wanted. Thanks a bunch for writing it. Is it possible to get a separate category for bind-on-equip items? I know I saw this requested a few times already, but I think your comments about not implementing a "full" filter editor in-game implies there might be a way to write custom filters in lua? Is that the case, and if so, would it be possible to make a bind-on-equip filter? Or does BoE status detection require tooltip scanning?
Why isn't there a healing-taken view? It's often useful to see who contributed to healing a tank, for example, so I can tell people to follow their assignments :P
On 25-man Yogg-Saron tonight the Crusher spawn timers seemed off. At least twice I saw the timer end ~5 seconds before the brain team stunned Yogg, but no crusher spawned. I wish I had more detailed troubleshooting info to give you.
As far as your warning alert plan, it sounds reasonable. In general, I'd shy away from adding a ton of options to all the individual alerts in all the encounters. When I end up going in and clicking the same check box on a couple dozen option pages, my enthusiasm for a piece of software quickly wanes. I consider making the bar texture and font settings global a big improvement over setting them individually for each anchor, and I'd much prefer a global toggle + threshold slider over individual toggles per alert.
If you decide to cater to the people who like twiddling all those pages and pages of options, I probably don't mind so long as the defaults stay sane.
KnThrak, I disagree with the change you're asking for. There are already two bar anchors, one for long timers and one for urgent ones. Why don't you just put your urgent bars in the middle if you want bars in the middle? Adding yet another bar anchor just makes things more complicated and takes up even more screen real estate.
Thanks. I'm still really impressed by the design of this mod. You do a much better job of showing me what I need to know in a way I can quickly understand it than BigWigs or DBM.
I had an idea tonight while working on Anub. Is it possible to choose a player and manually set an arrow pointing toward him? I'm a healer, and sometimes I lose track of my tank during things like the burrow phase of this fight. Having an arrow that said "Tank Is Over There!" would be tremendously useful.
I'm not sure where you're coming from when you call PitBull an eyesore. You can make it look like whatever you want. I mean, at some point you are going to have to have a bar to represent your health, but you can change the texture, fonts, texts, arrangement, border, etc. Have you looked through the post cool PitBull layouts thread? The variety of what people make is amazing.
One thing I would like to see in a future revision of LuaTexts is the ability to add custom presets. Sometimes I want to use the same text in multiple frame layouts. Needing to copy-and-paste then edit both of them when I decide to change something is a pain.
ninja-edit: Also, I think moving to this "UpdateOn" design for events is a mistake without some kind of helper built in to the configuration UI. Currently, you can look at the list of events, and they are self-explanatory to at least some degree, so even an amateur programmer can kind of figure out which ones he wants to use. With declarative update settings in the Lua code itself, you'd need some kind of drop-down "insert update" button or inline documentation to achieve the same degree of discoverability.

Edit: It just happened again. I think it might be related to applying enchantments to items.

In short, I like the bars the way they are.
Thanks for the script, that will be handy! :)

Here are two screenshots I just picked randomly from that thread:

and here's my own PitBull4 layout:

Those are all PitBull4 and they all look completely different (and quite good, in my opinion)! Go, make your perfect frames!
