May 15, 2008I get this error with several addons and they all point to AceEvent-2.0. These errors only occur in a raid group. Below is a couple of the errors.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Date: 2008-05-15 22:26:16 ID: 53 Error occured in: AddOn: Aloft Count: 30 Message: Note: AddOn Aloft attempted to call a protected function (AutoBarButtonHearthFrame:Show()) during combat lockdown. Debug: [C]: Show() AutoBar\AutoBarClassBar.lua:283: UpdateActive() AutoBar\Core.lua:1033: UpdateActive() AutoBar\Core.lua:633: AutoBar\Core.lua:614 [C]: ? ...face\AddOns\Aloft\Libs\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:298: TriggerEvent() ...face\AddOns\Aloft\Libs\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:372: ...face\AddOns\Aloft\Libs\AceEvent-2.0\AceEvent-2.0.lua:345
And another with ArkInventory:
Date: 2008-05-15 23:07:01 ID: 50 Error occured in: AddOn: ArkInventory Count: 8 Message: Note: AddOn ArkInventory attempted to call a protected function (AutoBarButtonFishingFramePopup4:SetAttribute()) during combat lockdown. I get pretty much the same error with Autobar as well, and when Autobar is enabled I get severe framerate lag.
I also have a problem with BossTalk spamming as if I'm entering combat while fighting, though it may not be related.
Jan 11, 2008Here's a suggestion for note creation and display for various Cartographer note addons. For anyone who has mined or done the Netherwing Dailies you know that some spawn points are underground. By default, Blizzard displays underground items as a dimmed dot on the minimap. A similar thing could be done with the Cartographer notes. There is a variable in WoW that says whether you can mount or not in an area. Generally this variable is false for when you are indoors and true when you are outdoors. I don't know what the variable is, but I'm sure someone has found it.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
Here's hoe this would work:
Collection: When adding a note the addon would check indoor or outdoors. The note would then be tagged appropriately.
Viewing: Cartographer would detect whether or not you were indoors or out and display only those notes that were tagged accordingly. Perhaps the tags that are not where the player is (inside/outside) could be dimmed (like Blizz's default tracker) or just not displayed at all.
I would work on the code myself except I'm terrible with coding, but hopefully someone can figure this out.
Sep 30, 2007GeekLoftGaming posted a message on Error since updating to 126.96.36.1991 just a few moments agoSame error. It would appear their file servers are down.Posted in: Updaters
