    A mod that adds skills/abilities from the game Exiled Kingdoms, and maybe some of the weapons, armor, and gear as well.

     

    What is Exiled Kingdoms? It is an open world RPG mobile game for both Android and iOS. It's a pretty interesting game with a cool story, but here are a few tips/warnings in case you do decide to try the game out:

     

    1) You can download and play the game for free, but without buying the full game (one time in app purchase) you'll be restricted to only a few areas, two out of the four current classes, and a low level cap (among other things), but the cost to buy the full game isn't too bad and I think it's worth the price

     

    2) Don't expect it to be an easy game. It's very, very challenging and extremely frustrating at times -I've been playing it for several years now across multiple devices and to this day I dare not play it on any difficulties other than it's so called "Casual" difficulty, and I'm a gamer that only plays other RPG games on their highest difficulties. So what makes Exiled Kingdoms so darn challenging?

    - First and foremost, weapons and armor don't have set values. In Skyrim (and similar RPG's), weapons and armor will do, say, 15 damage and have an armor rating of 20...but in Exiled Kingdoms, your weapon(s) and armor have a range of stats. For example, my current character does 6-10 damage, and subtracts 1-8 damage from attacks received. So, a big part of what makes the game so hard is that the damage YOU do isn't consistent to begin with and of course the enemies all have armor and resistance values that will reduce the damage they take, and the damage YOU receive isn't consistent either....so, one moment you'll be doing a lot of damage to enemies and taking very little damage yourself, and the next moment you'll be doing hardly any damage and be taking massive amounts of damage, and of course anything in between

     

    - You don't regain health or Mana without the help of potions (which are expensive), and it's hard to gain any decent amount of money. And of course, you may occasionally want to buy weapons and/or armor (and other things), so you almost never have enough money to suit your needs

     

    Exiled Kingdoms is a brutal game that's designed to make players travel with companions in order to stand any chance of survival, then, in the final stages of the story, forcefully separates you from your companion(s) just to make the most difficult part of an already difficult game, much harder. But, if you like to torture yourself (or you have the patience of a saint), it can be a good way to spend your time.

     

    Anyway, as I stated at the beginning of the post: I just want a mod adds some of the skills/abilities players can use in the game Exiled Kingdoms, and possibly some of the weapons, armor, items, etc.

    I don't know anything about coding, modding or anything like that...but, in the movie, when the powers were active it caused the people to glow bright orange. Perhaps you could help with that???

     I don't think these powers would be OP at all....I think they're fairly tame compared to a lot of the other superhero mods out there, and mods in general. I mean, there are mods that allow you to tame and ride dragons that can instantly destroy villages (Ice and Fire), there's a mod that allows you to summon a meteor (don't remember what it's called), there's the ICBM mod, etc.....and what about Heroes Expansion? Not only would this mod actually make you work for your powers, the powers you get from extremis are pretty tame in a world where you can literally play as Thor and Superman or run around destroying stuff with weapons of mass destruction that are fairly easy to obtain.

     

    As for whether or not the powers would wear off: personally, I wouldn't want the powers to wear off and I'd just have to make sure I didn't generate too much heat the whole time I'm using the powers. I'm not quite sure, but I think in the comics/movie you actually had to keep taking the serum in order to have access to the powers. Perhaps there could be a config option so players can decide whether they want the serum(s) to be a one time use that gives them permanent powers, or if they'd have to keep administering the serum to have powers. 

     

    As for how the serum would be administered, it would be an injection/shot like any other serum. You'd have to craft/obtain some syringes and stick the syringe in machine to mix the right ingredients into the syringe to get the injection. 

     

    On another note: there should probably be a way to get rid of the powers if players don't want them anymore. Perhaps like in Heroes Expansion/Lucraft core, using an empty syringe on yourself while you have the powers, takes them away

    I know it wasn't/isnt the most popular movie (because of the strange plot twist), but regardless of how you feel about the movie Iron Man 3, I think most people would agree that the powers you can (potentially) get from the Extremis serum are pretty cool....and thats what I want: a mod that allows players to take the Extremis serum/injection and potentially gain powers from it. here are my thoughts/ideas:

     

    Like in the movie, when you take the serum your body will either accept or reject the serum. if your body rejects the serum, you get blown up, and if the serum works, you'll gain powers.

     

    Starting abilities: after taking the serum (if it didn't kill you) you'll start out having strength, regeneration, speed, jump boost, and an ability that allows you to heat up your fist to add fire damage to unarmed attacks and destroy armor

     

    Leveling system: I think it would be cool if it had a leveling system that allowed you to gain xp to upgrade and unlock abilities:

         - one of the upgrades could allow the "flaming fist" ability to apply to weapons as well, so you can do a lot of damage, but heating up weapons would also cause said weapon(s) to degrade and break more quickly

         - another unlock-able ability could allow you to set nearby blocks on fire

               . maybe it could eventually allow players to smelt ore and turn blocks into lava as well?

         - its kind of outlandish, but in the movie, the main villain breathed fire at one point, so maybe fire breath could be another unlock-able ability?

     

    I was also thinking there could be a heat meter/energy system. if/when you obtain the Extremis power(s), your body would begin generating heat and start filling up a heat bar/meter. the idea is that each ability used would drain some of the heat energy, and when you don't have enough heat built up you can't use abilities until you've generated some more heat. 

         - another idea: you have to regulate temperature (make sure you don't generate too much heat) or, just like if/when the serum didn't work, you get too hot and blow up

    Seems interesting....there are already many mods that add similar elements, but it might be icool to see what happens if they're combined into one mod instead of being split across several different mods entirely

    I just want to share a few of my ideas for mods, so take a look if you want

     

    Witcher Signs mod: I think it would really fun if someone made a mod that added the "signs" used by Witcher Geralt in The Witcher 3:Wild Hunt...it would be nice if some of the upgrades/skills were added as well but that might be a little much

     

    Uniqe Artifacts: basically, just a mod that adds unique/special weapons (maybe armor/gear as well?) from popular videogames. Some examples would be:

     

    Skyrim: Auriels Bow/Shield, Bloodskal Blade, perhaps any/all of the daedric artifacts

     

     The Witcher 3: Aerondight, Iris (the sword not the NPC, although that would be kinda interesting), Caretakers Spade

     

    Dragon Shouts: I think I've suggested this before but I'm going to do it again...I think it would be awesome if someone got permission and remade/updated the dragon Shouts mod. It doesn't appear to be updated or paid any attention to anymore and that's a shame because it looks like a fun little mod

     

    Assassin's Creed Odyssey mod: I'm not sure how doable this is (if at all) but the idea is a mod that adds the Spear of Leonidas from the aforementioned game and some of the skills/abilities as well. It might be cool if it added other weapons/armor/gear from Odyssey as well, but I'm just curious to see what those skills/abilities would be like to use inside Minecraft

    firstly, I just wanna say that I loved Mine and Blade: Battlegear 2, and I wish it would get updated/remade for new MC versions....secondly: I do know of a mod that allows shields to reflect projectiles back at attackers:

    I have a somewhat strange idea for a mod.... what if someone were to make a new mod that added an all new dimension called Opposite World thats exactly the same as the Overworked, except for one major difference: everything is backwards/reversed....Animals (Sheep, Pigs, Cows etc.) are hostile, monsters (Zombies, Spiders, etc.) are friendly, diamond tools and armor are the weakest and wooden tools are the strongest. maybe in Opposite World players could tame Spiders as pets instead of Wolves, there could be villages with monsters as inhabitants, and perhaps villagers could roam the wilds as raiders and try to steal items from players and attack monster villages...oh, and iron golems could maybe spawn in monster villages to help fend off attacks from raiders/villagers
