    posted a message on X-Perl 2.4.2 (unofficial)
I don't know if this is the place to ask this..I'm going to ask anyways. I don't know if this is possible, but I could have sworn I saw a screenshot somewhere of x-pearl(I thought it was on this site somewhere) unit frame with skinned buff/debuffs. So if anyone has any insight into this it would be greatly appreciated!!

I dunno what to tell you even_the_score your the only reporting this problem. Also be aware pitbull recycles frames, so be very careful when you parent, as what you think it should be may not be what it is as the frame is recycles, like target, tot, focus ,etc ..

In general this is why pitbull is a pita for attaching artwork to, ive gotten so frustrated with it and dogtag performance, im going to make my own unitframe mod with artwork support.

Yeah, I understand I'm not giving you anything to work with, only problems. I'm just putting my issues out there hoping someone more in the know than me would have an idea as to what's going on.

    Anyhow, thanks for your replies.

Ahh... I see now that it's not resizing. I thought that it used to, though - perhaps that was a bug that you fixed, or I was doing something wrong...

Anyway, even_the_score, check your x,y offsets and panel height/width just in case.

I managed to get it to work by first adjusting the height of my pitpull unit frames(then reseting it back to what I wanted it to be), and then parenting the panel to the frame. And then any adjusts I make to the panel besides x,y offsets and height/width of the panel make it completely disappear. I'm not sure if this is the correct way to go about doing this..but it's the only way I could get it to work.

Also..I think it's a bug, I'm not sure, when I'm making new panels, I had to make them in two's. By this I mean the first one is completely invisible, I can't see it anywhere in the screen, but the second one worked fine.

And one more thing..for the panels that completely disappeared, I try setting it to 0,0 x,y offset, and setting the width and height to something really large like 500x500, and it's still nowhere to be seen.

Edit: I've had quite a few instances where panels would altogether disappear when adjusting the colors and alpha of panels. They still show in the active panel list, but are nowhere to be seen on the screen. And no errors present in bug sack.

I'm new to using this addon, so my apologies if this question has been asked a million times. I did a search but I couldn't find my answers. My question is that..I'm trying to parent panels to pitbull, but once I parent them, they don't show up anywhere, am I missing something?

I've used the keybinder to find the parent names and everything..once I hit enter to parent the panel it just disappears. How do I get it to show again?

Again..sorry if this has been covered before, but I couldn't find the answer to my question.

I've got two issues, one kind of severe, the other not.

First..the not so severe one, when using the mouse hover link.. I get these errors..
Chatter\Modules\LinkHover.lua:23: bad argument #1 to 'strmatch' (string expected, got nil)
    Chatter\Modules\LinkHover.lua:23: in function `?'
    AceHook-3.0\AceHook-3.0.lua:76: in function <...face\AddOns\Chatter\Libs\AceHook-3.0\AceHook-3.0.lua:73>

Second, the severe issue, as it seems to break some functionality of the game..I don't know why this happening, I have no error messages from it, only other people telling it is messed up. When I'm in the LFG channel, and I shift+click a quest name from the quest log, and send it, apparently it's showing to the other people in the channel as gibberish.

I'm sorry for bringing this up again if this has been talked about somewhere else.

    Quote from DropoutBS »

It didn't do anything for me. Absolutely nothing combattext-like is showing up. :(

Maybe it's not doing anything for me either..I only noticed I was missing incoming damage messages because I don't have it display my outgoing damage messages. However, I do get the entering/exiting combat messages, and loot messages. I guess that's all I've noticed today.

These things all worked in at least uh.. version r74178.

Edit: reverted back to 74178 and all damage messages are working again.

posted a message on Parrot 1.0 Beta for the 2.4 combat log
In versions r74360 and r74331 I do not get any incoming damage messages. What I mean is the damage a mob is doing to me, or environmental damage(falling). I do not have any errors in bugsack, so I don't know what's going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated with this.

I no longer get any loot messages in the newest version (r73818). Before I updated I had loot messages for items, and the "loot0%" message when looting money.

posted a message on SpecialEvents-Loot-1.0 error patch 2.4.2
I'm still getting the same error, even after updating to the newest version of Xloot, and then separately updating SpecialEventsEmbed, too.

SpecialEvents-Loot-1.0\SpecialEvents-Loot-1.0.lua:81: attempt to concatenate global 'GOLD' (a nil value)

I have no idea if this post should even go here. Probably not..

posted a message on Ag_Unitframes target's border missing
I'm sorry, I didn't clarify very well, it's not the border that's missing, I can get the nerfed/classic/hidden border styles to show, that's not the problem. The issue I'm having is the background is completely transparent. Like the background behind the target portrait, and mana and health bars. But it's just for the target frame.

Again, thanks for any help in advance!!

Edit: Figured it out, it was the Frame Colors setting in the Global Settings Menu. Transparency was set to 0
