    You might need to change the duration based on what your gcd time is. to check for what your gcd time is just paste this into your chat box. 1= ( your gcd time )

    /dump "Your GCD: " .. string.format("%.2f",(1.5/(1+(UnitSpellHaste("player"))/100))) .. "s"

    Here's the code working perfectly now for WeakAuras. It comes with 2 color changing progress bars and 2 color changing countdown text. Just copy and import to Weakauras. :D

    posted a message on WeakAura GCD / CD 4 SW:D Progress bars ( when at 2 charges )
    Here's a WeakAuras progress bar code for SW Death. It will first show the GCD progress after the first instant cast only. then it will show the progress cooldown after the 2nd instant cast.

    The only problem I'm having with it is the countdown text. I can't figure out how to make it only show 0.0 text format instead of 0.0000000000 format.
    If anyone knows how to change it to 0.0 format please let me know.

    posted a message on 3 Color change Duration for Shadowfiend when attacking
    Hi I'm trying to figure out this code so it changes the color on the progress bar while Shadowfiend is attacking a target for 12 Seconds it is up. I can't seem to get the command right for it though. I was wondering if someone here might know the right command so this code will work.

    function(progress, r1, g1, b1, a1, r2, g2, b2, a2)
        local start, event = GetPetTimeRemaining("Shadowfiend")
        if start>0 then
            local timeMax = start + duration
            local timeLeft = timeMax - GetTime()
            local p = timeLeft * 12.00 / duration
            if p > 6.00 then -- time left more than 6.00 Seconds
                return r2,g2,b2,a2 -- animation color
            elseif p > 3.00 then -- time left more than 3.00 Seconds
                return 1,1,0,1 -- yellow
            else -- time left less 3.00 Seconds
                return r1,g1,b1,a1 -- display color
            end

    posted a message on Mark of the Thunderlord not working right for WA
    Hi Everyone! This lua code grabs the color from the display color box and when it reaches the warning time it switches to the color in the animation color box. This code has worked for every buff or debuff I've come across so far but when I tried it for Mark of the Thunderlord it wouldn't work and I'm not sure why.???

    I started to ask around and was told that Blizzard has this buff as a
    Unknown instead of Player.
    I'm guessing that's the reason why the lua code won't work right. I'm hoping one of you expert computer programmers can help me out here with the lua code to work right and also explain why this buff is acting so different from all the others on WeakAuras. Also I noticed if I check Own Only on the trigger for that buff the display won't even show up on the screen.

    function(progress, r1, g1, b1, a1, r2, g2, b2, a2)
        -- Set the debuff and threshold time here:
        local debuff_name, warning_time = "Mark of the Thunderlord", 4

        local _,_,_,_,_,_,expires, etc = UnitAura("PLAYER", debuff_name,
        nil, "PLAYER|HELPFUL")
        if expires ~= nil then
            local time_left = expires - GetTime()
            if time_left < warning_time then
                return r2, g2, b2, a2
            end
        end
        return r1,g1,b1, a1
    end

    posted a message on What needs to change to grab upper,lower text color boxes?
    This code works on WeakAuras for Timer Bars. The code tells it to grab the color from the color box in the display, and the color from the color box in the main animation window. So my question is how can I tell this code to grab the color from either the Upper or Lower Text color boxes then the animation color box instead?
    ( I would rather use the lower text but it doesn't matter really )

    function(progress, r1, g1, b1, a1, r2, g2, b2, a2)
        -- Set the debuff and threshold time here:
        local debuff_name, warning_time = "Power Word: Shield", 5

        local _,_,_,_,_,_,expires, etc = UnitAura("PLAYER", debuff_name,
        nil, "PLAYER|HELPFUL")
        if expires ~= nil then
            local time_left = expires - GetTime()
            if time_left < warning_time then
                return r2, g2, b2, a2
            end
        end

    posted a message on Looking 4 lua text color change on WeakAuras
    Hello This is a lua code that changes color for timer bars in WeakAuras2. It tells the code to grab the color from the color boxes in the display and animation main window.

    I'm trying to figure out how to tell this code to grab the color in one of the color boxes for either the Top or Bottom text instead then the animation color box.
    (I'm going for the Bottom Text Window )

    function(progress, r1, g1, b1, a1, r2, g2, b2, a2)
        -- Set the debuff and threshold time here:
        local debuff_name, warning_time = "Power Word: Shield", 5

        local _,_,_,_,_,_,expires, etc = UnitAura("PLAYER", debuff_name,
        nil, "PLAYER|HELPFUL")
        if expires ~= nil then
            local time_left = expires - GetTime()
            if time_left < warning_time then
                return r2, g2, b2, a2
            end
        end
        return r1,g1,b1, a1
    end

    Does anyone know what needs to be changed for this to work?

    posted a message on All Weak Auras disappear after ANY/ALL weakaura2 updates via Curse. Why?
    Dridzt is right. For Add-On Makers it's a must having a copy of the WTF folder. Cause a lot of times when we are messing with the lua and make a mistake we can always try again having a copy. So before Legion comes out make sure you save a copy of your WTF folder.

    Once your all updated in Legion with your character...then add in your add-on's from your WTF copy. You don't have to add in the whole folder; the add-on's and saved variable files should do.

    I'm not 100% sure when it comes to the version number on the add-on's because they will have the old version number on them still. So I don't know if wow updates it for you automatically or if you would have to change each add-on to the new version number yourself. Another way you could try updating the add-on's first on the curse client then switch out the saved variable files. As long as you have a copy of the WTF folder your settings will be safe to try as many times as you need.

    posted a message on Xhul'horac: A better way to target imps?
    Hello during the Xhul'horac boss fight when the three Imps appear is it possible to have the macro pick which Imp you want to target first?
    Like Imp A, B, C or 1, 2 3?

    Right now it just picks it at random and if I try clicking it again it just targets the same Imp. I know there is a way if one of the Imps die it will target the next Imp but how about when all 3 are up?
    If I could I would have 3 macros to target each Imp so I can quickly dot one up and target the next Imp to do the same

    I'm using tab to target each Imp but sometimes it will target a void ect and waste more time for me trying to down all 3 Imps.

    Does anyone know a better way around this?

    posted a message on Have a idea for Magic Target 2
    Hello I was checking out the add-on Magic Target 2. It's a great add-on but it could be even more useful if it was possible to have buttons on the side or even the bars it's self to be clickable. That way whatever npc-adds is showing on the bars you could just click it so it's your main target.

    I was wondering if something like this is possible to even do or maybe a macro that can target whatever is showing on the add-on bar?

    posted a message on How can I make VEM louder?
    I have these custom timer bars for spell casting and cooldowns. I have it setup for my main character which is a shadow priest. Is there a way I can use the same setup for my Mage without messing up the settings when I switch back to my shadow priest?

    ( Just to let you know more what it is I'm trying to do exactly )

    I would have to change the spell cast names and cooldown names for the timer bars to make it work for my mage. I'm wondering if it's possible to only have those's settings change when switching characters? So I can use this setup for other character classes.
