    Ok, been using this for a while, and have a niggling issue which is starting to get annoying... When you open GW, and scroll down (example tailor : you have to scroll down to make bolts of cloth) the display defaults back to the top line....

    over and over and over again.

    So, you have to wait a good 30 seconds, and hope it sorts itself out, I'm guessing it's scanning recipes or something, but why does it take so long?

    Also, every time you craft something, the window reverts back to the top line, and it's annoying having to scroll up / down every few seconds to craft new stuff...

    This isn't a QQ post, I really like the addon, but I've never seen any other tradeskill addon do this, and it's spoiling GW for me :(

    @ Madbrease

    Thanks mate, but sadly the dual profile thing didn't work. I still have the issue with this particular frame not updating on spec change :(

    I'm still open to ideas :)

    EDIT:

    In OnLoad:

    local spacing = 2
    local borderW = 12
    local borderH = 9
    local offsetX = 0
    local offsetY = 2

    local w = 31
    local h = 31
    local scale = BT4BarStanceBar:GetScale()
    local buttonCount = GetNumShapeshiftForms()
    local totalButtonWidth = floor(buttonCount*w)
    local totalBarHeight = floor(h+4)
    if buttonCount >= 1 then
    if buttonCount == 1 then
    local totalButtonSpacing = floor(buttonCount)
    local totalBarWidth = floor((totalButtonWidth+totalButtonSpacing)+borderW)
    self:SetWidth(totalBarWidth)
    else
    local totalButtonSpacing = floor((buttonCount-1)*spacing)
    local totalBarWidth = floor(totalButtonWidth+totalButtonSpacing+borderW)
    self:SetWidth(totalBarWidth)
    end
    self:SetScale(scale)
    self:SetHeight(floor(totalBarHeight+borderH))
    self:ClearAllPoints()
    self:SetPoint("CENTER", BT4BarStanceBarOverlay, "CENTER", offsetX, offsetY)
    self:Show()
    else
    self:Hide()
    end

    In OnEvent:

    local spacing = 2
    local borderW = 12
    local borderH = 9
    local offsetX = 0
    local offsetY = 2

    local w = 31
    local h = 31
    local scale = BT4BarStanceBar:GetScale()
    local buttonCount = GetNumShapeshiftForms()
    local totalButtonWidth = floor(buttonCount*w)
    local totalBarHeight = floor(h+4)
    if buttonCount >= 1 then
    if buttonCount == 1 then
    local totalButtonSpacing = floor(buttonCount)
    local totalBarWidth = floor((totalButtonWidth+totalButtonSpacing)+borderW)
    self:SetWidth(totalBarWidth)
    else
    local totalButtonSpacing = floor((buttonCount-1)*spacing)
    local totalBarWidth = floor(totalButtonWidth+totalButtonSpacing+borderW)
    self:SetWidth(totalBarWidth)
    end
    self:SetScale(scale)
    self:SetHeight(floor(totalBarHeight+borderH))
    self:ClearAllPoints()
    self:SetPoint("CENTER", BT4BarStanceBarOverlay, "CENTER", offsetX, offsetY)
    self:Show()
    else
    self:Hide()
    end

    I Found this on another forum, though I modded it a bit. It works to a fashion, any idea on how to make it priest specific? i.e only show if class is priest, not for any other class??

    Thanks

    I have a priest with dual spec holy / shadow. I'm looking for a script to place a frame behind the BT4 stance bar for shadowform, but hide when I swap to holy. I've done a bit of digging, and drawn a blank.

    This is the code I have to parent to the stance bar, but I'm struggling with the additional code to hide it on talent swap. Changing stance, then doing a /reloadui works, but I want / would like it to be automatic;)

    if class == "PRIEST" then
    local w = BT4BarStanceBarOverlay:GetWidth()
    local h = BT4BarStanceBarOverlay:GetHeight()
    if w >= 2 then
    self:SetWidth(44)
    self:SetHeight(44)
    self:Show()
    else
    self:Hide()
    end

    This forms part of a larger overall "onload" script that covers me for all my toons (I have one of each class @80). New talents are not an issue, so don't worry about that.

    Hi Sparky,

    As much as I love this addon, can we maybe have an option to choose if the shopping list will open when visiting banks etc? It gets a bit frustrating as an altoholic to open every time I visit the bank :(

    Maybe just a tick-box "Auto-open on visiting xxxxx" that we can un-tick to not have it pop up. I don't think I've ever actually used the shopping lits at any time, on any of the crafting addons I've used over the years ;)

    Thanks!

    Hi Storm,

    Been a long time user of this addon, and for the most part had no issues. But (yay, a BUT) I've found one....

    I have one toon of every class, and if I set up a profile for each toon, and set the addon (using Pixelskin) to display the class color, when I change toons, all addons except BT4 decide to show a random alts class colored border.

    For example: I log my druid. BT4 seems fine. Autobar displays the mage class color and SBF displays all white borders.

    Any ideas?

    I can manually reset them, but I have to do this every time I log an alt, and I'm an altoholic :/

    Ahh sorry Phanx, now I looked into it a bit more, I see what you tried to tell me (dumb and ignorant of LUA :( )

    I'm trying to learn from the ground up as it were, and look at a lot of other addons code to try and figure out issues, but I've never seen this done before (Except in LUI UI) without some heavy scripting.

    Cheers again, will investigate that path now I understand what you meant ;)

    Thanks Egingell, I spotted that after I posted. However, even with the typo change, it still doesn't work :(

    Still hoping for ideas

    Further edit:

    If anyone knows of a script, involving two panels, in which Panel B would hide if Panel A was active and vice-versa, I could probably adapt that to fit...

    Hi again,

    I'm hoping that if I post what I think the script should "roughly" look like, someone might be able to tidy it up, and point out any errors (It's not a working script, sadly)

    The panel is anchored to BT4Bar1, from the bottom, so hoping ths script when Coolline becomes active, will re-parent to the top of the bar. The effect that I'm trying to achieve, is that when the Coolline bar becomes active, a panel will appear to move above it.

    This is my (broken) code:

    function (self)
    if CoolLine:IsShown() then
    Self:Setpoint("TOP","BT4Bar1","TOP",0,0)
    end

    Any more ideas? This is the last thing I'm trying to figure out :/

    Edit: If someone can come up with a way to hide a panel while coolline is active, I could always make a duplicate panel parented to Coolline, giving the impression that the panel has moved. I've tried:

    if CoolLine:IsShown() then
    self:SetAlpha(0)
    end

    But again, no luck :/

    Hi folks,

    I need some help. After spending about 40 hours now, researching, trying, and failing, I fall down on my knees and hope someone knows the answer.

    What I'm trying to do, is script a KGpanel to be attached to the coolline cooldown bar. If the bar is shown, the KGpanel will move up in relation to it's placement within the UI, but if the coolline bar is inactive, the KGpanel "resets" to a previous placing.

    To see what I mean, take a look at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l3f4F-6B_q0&feature=related

    It's a bit hard to make out, but at around about the half-way point of the video, if you look at the players action bars, you can see a blue "arc" of colour. Once they start casting, this arc moves up, this is the effect I'm trying to re-create.

    I'm sure it can be done, but I'll be buggered if I can figure out how :/

    Halp?

    Hi Sparky,

    Sorry for the late reply, been a tad busy :/ Anyway, image attached. As you can see, the reagent list shows (alomst) identical mats, yet one is craftable, one is not

    In the top shot, the zircon is selected, in the lower, the Ametrine.
    Any ideas?

    Hi all.

    Been using this addon for a long time, however, I've recently encountered something, and I'm not sure how to resolve it.

    I've added a second account, to house all of the crap I've been collecting for 5+ years. Set the character up with a guild etc. The problem I have is that the acocunt sharing feature seems not to be displaying this alts own guild bank.

    I've correctly set the options to share everything, as per the readme, but when looking from the "main" account, to the "alt" one, the guild bank is not visible.

    Is there something I'm missing / not doing ?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sparky.

    Seems I also have the odd item counts, mainly focused around transmutes. Seeing the above comments, I deleted the addon and SVR file, and re-installed fresh. I'd say this corrected maybe half of the odd counts I was seeing.

    I also still have that ever so pesky "jumping back to the top" bug ;)

    Just an update in case you were thinking you could have a rest ;P

    Edit: Don't know if this helps, buy by chance, I visited that vendor Frozo the Renowned in Dala, and it recorded the fact you can hand in orbs for eternals

    HI Sparky

    Same issues as Nightowl. Open the window, FPS dips to 5-6. use it to create an item, FPS rockets back up. As soon as the craft is complete, FPS dips again.

    I see you've mentioned the alchemy niggle already, so will wait for an update on that one.

    One last little thing. If you're scrolled down to near the bottom of your list, every now and then, the window seems to reset back to the top again, and you have to keep scrolling down your list of items. Not sure if that makes sense ><

    Apart from that, a very worthy successor to Skillet. Keep it up!

    Edited: The "jumping to the top" issue has already been ticketed (54). I'll wait for that to get resolved =)
