    I also love Sanity. I while back, Antiarc split the it in two addons one for the display and research and one for caching the values. I think the aim was to be able to share the caching function between multiple addons. This is when I started having real problems with it. At the time, I simply took the snapshot before the split and have used it ever since. I did some little modifications to keep it working from patch to patch (for example, my version is able to scan multiple attachments in mail) but nothing much. It works well enough for me and I was quite happy to use that until the real thing get done. I don't loose stuff in bank while zoning (at least, I'm not aware of any such lost).

    I guess I could try to package that under another name (Sanity2_Classic ???) and upload it somewhere for ppl to use but I would not be able to offer support for it. Maybe we could use it as a base for a "fan maintained" version of Sanity?

    Just checking if the idea holds watter.

    Are you able to please explain how installign withotu embedded lib is different to what I migth be doing. (Clicking the addons I want and having them install automatically)

    I just selected "without external" and no embedded lib were installed. That did it for me. Now, I don't use the statset or group, I use formulas so every variable available in ItemBonusLib are usable. CR_EXPERTISE is the new Expertise variable name.

    On a slightly different note. I couldn't seem to spot where I could assign a value to a weapons DPS rating. Is it there? Or do I have to do something with formulas and the wepaons max + min damage / delay etc?

    There is no DPS variable in ItemBonusLib so yea, you have to do (WEAPON_MIN+WEAPON_MAX)/(2*WEAPON_SPEED).

    I use Sanity to check my other character mailbox (and the banks, bags and what they are wearing). I believe Possession also do that.

    The ItemBonus lib has been updated so ItemValue automagically support Expertise if you update the library. With WAU, it's already there if you install without embedded lib.

    I have the same issue once in a while. To the best of my knowledge, the backgroup strata appears to be elevated in from of the bag buttons. When it happen, I cannot click on any bag items.

    To resolve the issue, I have to disable the One* addons, log once without them, and relog with them. If I just relog, the problem stays.

    I do not use skinner.

    This look very nice. Any chance of being able to import the QuestHistory database format? I've been using QH for more then a year but it doesn't have much support these days and the interface is a bit clunky. It would be sad to loose all the accumulated information though. I guess that could help you speed up the data gathering for the quests from level 1 to 60.

    Instead, I wrote Quel'evel to give you quest levels without doing bad things to make it happen.

    I'm trying the Blade's Edge Mountains (66-67) guide and I have the following problem: Whenever I get a quest, TourGuide doesn't detect anything (not sure if it should). I click the checkbox on the status window to tell the guide that I have accepted the quest and all the other events linked to the quest are automatically checked. If I uncheck a fight or turn-in event, all the events linked to the quest are unchecked including the Accept event.

    I'm using revision 657. I'm going to register a bug on the gcode site but I wanted to post here just in case it was something obvious that I'm not doing.

    [Edit: upon further tests, it appears to be a conflict with QuestIOn. Somehow, TourGuide doesn't detect the quests in the log if QuestIOn is there and this screw the status logic.]

    From the description of the tooltip alt thing, you can only see what alts have runecloth if you have runecloth in your bags.

    Well, I don't know about possession but Sanity will allow you search for stuff in the Sanity window but will also display in the tooltips which alt (and where on the alts) the stuff is located when hovering over an item. It can be in your bag, it can be linked in chat (including trade), it can be in AH, it can be in the tradeskill windows. This is very useful for reagents in particular. I believe however that there is a separate mod that Possession users use to the same effect. Something called Whohadit or someshuch.

    For Tuller: any way to also see the mailboxed and where the characters are wearing? This is something that both Sanity and Possession do and that has always stoped me from going anywhere else. Being able to search accross all the toon equipements in all location it can be is very useful. The mailbox has become, for me, a second bank :-). Just a tough.
