The ML is displayed in the header, and has been since the code change a week ago... you can select it to show "Master Looter: LooterName" or just "LooterName" from the right click options menu.

Not sure about the click to whisper master looter yet..

Ahh. Excellent. I haven't actually been in a group that has ran a ML'er for months.

The click-to-whisper isn't very important, but since reviving a couple Fubar addons myself, I've been brainstorming on how to make a functional left click option for most Fubar applications. More or less, I was just thinking out loud.

I haven't the first clue as to how to upload it to the WAU.

That is completely my fault and I am looking into how to do so as I type this. Expect it up there over the next few days.

Well, of course I only meant the WTF file associated with this addon.

If people are so foolish to delete the whole WTF file, simply upon my say so:

    1) They are morons and should not be playing with addons, as they are more of a danger to themselves than I ever could be. :)
    2) I have much work to do as my diabolical scheme to take over the world is but a single order away from getting billions of dollars from the above morons!
    3) They are so moronic that I made a third reason simply to call them moronic, and I like using that word.

But seriously, I understand what you are saying and perhaps I will clarify my wording of that statement. ROFL!

Not to hyjack a customer of PetInfoFu, but my addon "Fubar-CritterInFu" has that option built in.

However, perhaps Jayhawk will add that to his as well. :)

I've been searching all over (or what I feel is all over) the place for information on how the MP5 listed on the paper doll is determined.

Since this addon is the closest to being one that generates information based around those numbers, I need to ask: "Do you know how to call the calculations that Blizzard uses in order to determine what a persons Mana regeneration rate is both while casting and while not casting (like what is said in the tooltip of the paper doll frame)?"

It is the one component missing from my PlayerInFu mod (in it's current state) that I was hoping to add.:)

Any help is appreciated and will certainly be noted in my addon.

Or even add the option that when you left click the title, it opens a /whisper to the ML. Just a suggestion.

I too would love to see the name of the ML displayed on the Fubar header itself. I use to have GroupFu installed but found that I rarely used the rolling feature of it. Not that it's a bad mod, just more than I seek. :)

    Introduction
This is a port to FuBar of my "Doppelganger Critter Info" addon.

This addon was created to replace the PetXPBar addons that I have used in the past, most of them were full of bugs and broke with every patch. I have (hopefully) created a solidified Pet XP Bar that will withstand the test of time!

If you are using any prior versions of CritterInFu, please delete the CritterInFu WTF file, as well as the old CritterInFu folder in your AddOn file prior to installing this version!! (fixed for clarity)

    Features
FOR HUNTERS (See pictures for details):
    • 1) Adds your pets Name, Level, and XP percentage to the FuBar header. These can be toggled on and off via the right click menu. [picture #1]
    • 2) When mousing over the title, a tooltip pops up with TONS of info about your pet including: Experience, Basic Information, Attributes, Combat Info, Pet Skills, and your "Herd" (your current and stabled pets). [picture #2]

      3) LEFT clicking the title will open your beast training window for easy access to updating your pets skills (saves at least one valuable hotbar spot).

      4) RIGHT clicking the title will display a drop down menu with submenu options for all the controls of the tooltip and header displays. You can control how much information you desire to see. The addon is built in such a way that if you don't want something to be shown, toggling it off will save the resources that would normally go toward the calculations for those categories. [picture #3]

      5) If toggled on via the "Other Options" menu (and if you use the Cartographer addon (why aren't you?)), you can auto-save note locations for every stable master that you visit. There is no default listing at this time (possibly available in a later release). This information is shared across your whole account, so if you have two hunters (like an alliance and horde hunter), both will benefit from the listing. [picture #4]

FOR WARLOCKS (See pictures for details):
    • 1) Adds your minions Name and it's Creature Type to the FuBar title. This can be toggled on or off via the right click menu. [some in picture #1]
    • 2) When mousing over the title, a tooltip pops up with TONS of info about your pet including: Attributes, Combat Info, and your Pet's Skills (if you have the Demonic Knowledge talent). [some in picture #2]

      3) LEFT clicking the title will open your pet's spell book. I couldn't think of anything else that could be tied in logically to a left click (and was allowed by the Blizzard API).

Wow! Where to begin! First my older history:
I have installed and deleted so many of these pet info addons over my time of playing, that I have lost many names of people that should be rightfully thanked. However, most of the code was drawn from Mark Murray's "PetXPBar". His organization drew me to his addon above all the others.
I also based this entire plugin on the work done by Corgi and his FuBar - PetInfo. Thanks for porting over Hemco's Titan plugin Corgi!

But when I sought to port this to Ace2.0 and Fubar2.0, I looked to the other pet info addons out there and put my own spin on their works. For this I owe a TON of thanks to the following authors:
Jayhawk [Fubar_PetInfoFu]: I used his addons LUA to restructure my entire addon from. Essentially, he laid all the groundwork!
Ricowan [Fubar_PetFu]: I ported several of his features to my addon.
Kemayo [Fubar_PetInFu]: I ported several of his features to my addon as well.

These gentlemen are due the real credit here, all I've done is combine what I feel are the best parts of each of their addons into a single addon that gives me a more organized feel and is written in the most efficient way possible (yes I cleaned up some of the redundant code they used).

    Introduction
This addon was created to reduce the headaches that I had on my Druid of CONSTANTLY switching back and forth on the character paper doll to see how my gear would effect melee, spells, and attributes. It's hard to decide what quest rewards to take for what role (Feral Tanking, Healing, Spell DPS, Feral DPS), let ALONE all the resist gear out there!!

Enter my Fubar_PlayerInFu! In a tooltip display, you are shown all your attributes, and many more that you've probably never even known you had!

[picture #2 and #3]

    3) LEFT clicking the title will open your character paper doll (character frame) so that you can double check special things like +dmg to a particular school of magic, your resilience rating (I give the actual % of reduction in the tooltip), et cetera.

Well, lets see here. I wrote this entire addon based off of my Fubar_CritterInFu addon, so I suppose some thanks to Jayhawk [Fubar_PetInfoFu] is in order as he laid the groundwork for the LUA file.
I used resources like WoWwiki and the work done by Detritis [FuBar_CombatInfoFu] for some basic information on how the logic of the Player paper doll was called on.
Other than that, I wrote it - so it's mine. :)
"OttoDeFe" and "fred" for bug feedback! Thanks guys!

That worked splendidly. What I *think* happened was I placed the 'tooltipTitle' / 'tooltipText' callouts AFTER the function. For some reason, it wanted me to reference the function.

Although I've not purposefully reproduced the error, that is where I screwed up apparently.

    Thanks Rabbit!

    I have the following:
    		-- Toggle Option Submenu
    		if value == "T_OPTIONS" then
    			-- Toggle XP Section
    			dewdrop:AddLine(
    				'text', L["TT_XP"],
    				'func', 'ToggleIsShowingExperience',
    				'arg1', self,
    				'closeWhenClicked', false,
    				'checked', self:IsShowingExperience()
    			)

From this point, how do I add a description for the game tooltip, so that when someone hovers over it in the menu it will say:

    Experience
Toggles the Experience information from showing in the tooltip.

I've looked into the library documents, but I'm not finding anything. Am I using an old (and therefore unsupported) version of calling menu options? If so - I have several questions on the other method I've seen, but if not - where can I find further information on this?

I tried the 'desc', 'tooltipTitle' / 'tooltipText' methods, but they consistently return errors saying that I'm not calling a function properly. Gawd I'm rusty at all this.

Only one thing that I would suggest for this addon is more detail in the tooltip as to what a function does.

Currently, if I question what it does, I have to start the internet, goto Ace's website, and look up your addon. Even then the descriptions given in the main page of the addon description don't flow with the menu options of the drop down menu on the side. Its a bit confusing, and forces people to a lot of "digging" to find out what features do.

Some examples of this from the in-game tooltip:
    "Auto-Fill" - Toggles Auto-Fill function.
What does that mean? What auto-fill function? What does it do exactly? To find out for myself, I would have to toggle it on and play around with the addon repeatedly to figure out whats different about it.

    "Clicks" - Toggles Clicks function.
Wha? So does the game crash if I click something with this on?

    "Search" - Toggles Search function.
    How? Searching for what?

See what I mean? A bit far fetched I know (game crashing), but without knowing what I have toggled on (which the check mark itself is the obvious indicator it's functionality is "on"), I fear what the addon may be doing in the background, and it might auto-assign a price to something instead of the price I want it to assign. I wouldn't know...

Please know that I am using this daily and find it very very helpful! Keep up the great work!

I'm not shapeshifting out of bird form when I press another spell or form. Could you look into this? I don't have any insight to share as far as what may be wrong at this time.

I will post up again if I discover something.

    --edit--
I noticed this line in the Unshapeshift.lua file:
    Line 75
if active and (really or not (name == "Flight Form")) then

It almost looks intentional to NOT shapeshift if in bird form. Is this true? Although I can see some use in protecting the very nature of death-dropping from the sky, I also am quite use to popping out of form and back into it when close to the ground for a dive-bomb assault on some unsuspecting PVP f00. LOL!

The ding message does not properly return the class of my toon upon dinging, instead only "$C".

I believe you need to add the following to the Ding.lua file, after line 129:

      gsubtbl["$C"] = UnitClass("player")

That should fix it right up! Great addon! I've enjoyed watching it evolve! It has replaced over 5 other addons that I was formerly using. Well done!
