    Bugsack shows all errors period. Either a.) it's in the list somewhere and you just missed it or b.) fubar isn't actually throwing an error, just not working as intended due to some change on blizz's part

    You, Sir, are a God.

    Last question - how do I upload my mod as a beta? I read the documentation - vXX or Release makes it a Release version, and anything else is classified as alpha - but what about beta? I set the Curseforge repository to only accept Beta and release, but it didnt seem to like that.:o

    That's not entirely correct, alphas are directly from each commit, tags are beta unless they fit the "release" regex.

    "1.05b" == beta

    "1.05" == release

    "thisiswhatInamedmytag" == beta

    "thisiswhatInamedmytage Release" == release

    Just thought I'd through this out there, I know phanx mentioned it earlier

    I spent a little bit today making:
    http://www.wowace.com/themes/readable-minimalism/

    I may have missed a few things that should be styled, and not everything may be perfect. If you have any feedback on it let me know and I'll tweak it.

    A few notes,
    * Verdana is the default font
    * 14px is the base size for all fonts
    * Avoided using pure white or pure black to cut the impact on eyes
    * No gradients
    * No rounded corners
    * Removed icons in a few places
    * Variable width
    * Removed most borders while attempting to maintain structure

    That one is too minimalist imo, if you kept a few of the borders and switched to non-pure white with pure black text it's be a whole lot better. (the dark grey with light grey background is pretty unreadable imo)

    posted a message on AceLibrary?
    I've read that thread over and over (and don't have the luafu to help with the lib posted unfortunately) and understand where you are coming from Phanx, but . . . look over the code to the lib I mentioned, it is certainly on it's way to being a libstub/ace3 dewdrop. I think Arrow was just having a bad day in his explanation. What I see based on the full thread as well as the project already started and hosted here is that libstub only they will not allow, but libstub + ace3 options table they will.

    Edit: pretty sound reasoning as just adding replacing libstub into dewdrop doesn't help much as you'd still need an ace2 options table, maybe more of Ace2 (haven't looked at it that closely)

    I would suggest you make a weekend out of reading all the way through the Programming in Lua (PIL) online reference. Most of the things you are/have had problems iwth is baisc programming rather than specific cases. IE, what is a table, how do I use them, what's the syntax for changing them. Same for local variables and for that matter what is a variable, how . . .

    You've jumped in feet first before fully understanding the concepts. This is a bad thing as it's SO easy to get confused by more advanced concepts at that point in your programming development.

    Phanx is a god when it comes to patience it seems, Phanx's explanations and handholding, though good isn't going to get you where you want to go without understanding the basic concepts.

    Bascially you'll do much better by taking a deep breath, putthing the addon down and doing homework for a week or so, writing basic "hello world" type things first.

    I don't have much feedback for that implimentation as it seems very straightforward. (that is of course without being able to read the language on the rest of the AceDB options as I'm an ignorant American ;))

    How many addons that are updated often still use AceDB2? I'm not sure it's worth it also as if they are still using Ace2 it's unlikely they would be available to add in a new lib.

    Heck we don't even get AceDBOptions without another small lib, why not just create a small lib and be done with it?

    Do we really want Ace3 to become like Ace2 where many things were there just because some could justify it even though a large percentage of the users/authors didn't even know half that crap was there??

    Now don't get me wrong, Ace3 can sometimes be a bit too far the other way (ie EVERYTHING seems to need a new lib) but the libs are all small and optional. I'd much rather have to include yet another mixin to do this than force it on everyone.

    I can see the use case in quite a few addons, though disabled by default and enable able by the addon autho,r either hardcoded or within their config would be acceptable to me.

    That said my gut feeling with this is it should be another lib rather than forcing everyone who embeds AceDB to include the added complexity. This would also help facilitate the "disabled by default" behavior.
