    From poking around in the LUA it looks like he IS working on restoring a lot of the old tags, they're just not fully implemented yet.

    Also, if you are getting the "Missing Argument" error, specifically for options like ShortClass, try changing it to something like Class:ShortClass. Dunno if that's been mentioned yet or not.

    My suggestion, if you don't feel like getting your hands dirty in the LUA (and there's a lot more going on in there than it looks like) is to just hold on for a few days while CK gets everything in order =)

    Well, I didn't have much success with Recount's threat portion in Kara. It displayed the first fight and then nothing. I think it displayed one other later but it was generally quite dead.

    Do you have the Threat-1.0 library installed and/or updated recently? That's what does all the threat calculations, Recount itself just displays the data that Threat-1.0 gives it.

    Running some tests with r41447. Character is a level 70 Affliction specced Orc Warlock. Fresh install of ClassTimer. It seems to be working better, but it's still a little weird. I started with default options (opt out unchecked, buff time 20, debuff time 60). Here's some of the weirdness I noticed with those settings:

    -New timers were added to the list unchecked, which seems to be the opposite of what the "Opt Out" option indicates. When I checked "Opt Out", new timers were added to the list checked. I could just be misunderstanding the wording, not a huge deal.
    -Siphon Life (30 second DoT) and Curse of Agony (24 second DoT) were not added to the list. Increasing buff time to 60 seconds caused them to show up. Does ClassTimer consider my DoTs as buffs?
    -After applying Siphon Life, Corruption, or Curse of Agony to a target, no other debuffs appeared until ALL of those had fallen off the target. If I cast Corruption first (18 sec duration) and then a Siphon Life or Curse of Agony, neither of those would show either. As soon as they fell off, all the other debuffs showed up immediately with the proper time remaining.

    The only real urgent problem I'm having now is the Siphon Life/Curse of Agony/Corruption glitch. I'm not sure what could be causing that.

    EDIT: Just tried it with no other addons enabled, still getting that weird glitch.

    I had both buff and debuff set to max (300). Wasn't showing anything at all on any bars. Closed down WoW, deleted my ClassTimer.lua from the WTF/account/SavedVariables folder, started the game back up again, reset all my settings (also to 300 for buff and debuff), and still wasn't showing anything except for Siphon Life (which is a 30 second debuff on my target) and Shadowtrance (which is a 10 second buff on myself). Tried it set to both opt in and opt out. Nothing else was showing up in the list of buffs/debuffs either.

    Still having trouble with my affliction Warlock... Siphon Life and Shadowtrance are showing, but nothing else. I tried shutting down the game, completely deleting my settings from the WTF folder, and I'm still getting the exact same problem. Debuff and Buff times are both set to 300, and I tried it with Opt Out both on and off. Nothing else is showing up in either the onscreen timers or in the timers listing in the options.

    Also, the General bar settings doesn't seem to be working, I had to set all my bar settings individually.

    I really thought this mod was pretty much perfect before all the changes =\ I'm reverting back to an older version, watching this thread for updates.

    Nothing's showing up now =\ I also get this error when I mouseover some of the options in the Bar Settings submenus:

    Interface\Addons\ClassTimer\ClassTimer.lua:664: bad argument #1 to 'unpack' (table expected, got nil)

    EDIT: The options in particular seem to be the Texture, Icon Position, and Font menus underneath the General, focus, player, sticky, and target menus.

    I think if you limited the default tracking to class-related timers then it should be fine. People can go in and toggle additional stuff on though I doubt most will do so. I would probably toggle on weapon/trinket procs but that's about it. All that other stuff like elixirs, bandages, etc should be off by default.


    Agreed, I really really liked ClassTimer as it was working a few days ago... now it tracks all sorts of stuff I don't care about (what the heck is Sneeze?) and isn't tracking the stuff I do (Curse of Agony, Unstable Affliction).

    Yeah, click through ability would be nice when that's disabled. Raid spam was the bigger annoyance for me though, thanks for the feature! :D

    Seconded, the right-click feature that was added a week or so ago is driving me nuts with raid/party spam. I like to have the player bars in the middle of the screen so I can easily see them, which messes with right-clicking to move and I end up spamming the raid to let them know how long I have left on Seal of Righteousness :P At least an option to turn it off would be nice.

    Also I noticed some weirdness with Devastate/Sunder Armor earlier. Devastate refreshes the duration of Sunder (so the counter goes back up to 29s) but the progress bar doesn't change.

    Logged in today (4/19/07) and MiddleFrame 7 had somehow activated, leaving a box in the middle of my screen. Went in and disabled it fine. Not sure if I enabled it without knowing somehow, but thought I'd post here in case anyone else has the same problem.

    I just emailed you a .zip with my changes in it. It's pretty basic and I'm sure you probably could code it better, but in case you want to take a look, there you go. All I really did was register the PLAYER_FOCUS_CHANGED event in a few places, unregister it in the Blizzard frames, add "focus" in a few places, and copy/paste the code for the target frame :P

    I just tinkered around with the code for a bit and added a focus frame - seems to work 100% fine although the code may be a bit sloppy :P Let me know if you want/need the code - I'm a bit of an ace/lua noob so I'm not sure what the procedure behind all that is.
