    Open a ticket and explain your situation. It helps if you can discuss taking it over with the previous author through messages on this website, then you can add one of the admins to your conversation and they can read your discussion with the previous author and easily verify permission. Be sure to explain to the previous author you plan to do so, etc. I did this when I took over maintaining BaudMark addon for WoW.

     

    If you can't get a hold of the previous author then ask a mod what your options are.

    All addons currently have versions indicated on them. As a matter of fact old classic addons are still hosted on Curse like Fubar plugins: https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/fubar_factionsfu/files?page=11

     

    So the functionality is already built in, it's a matter of splitting it up for convenience. I certainly hope they do.

    In reply to Artosit:   My understanding is end of business the first Friday of the following month. So if you got your request in on or before February 28 I would expect to have the payout by the end of today; 5PM - 7PM EST (so sometime in the next 12 hours of this writing as of 7Am EST).

    I emailed an admin January 31st. Someone may need to put in a ticket, which I don't currently plan to do as I can do a PayPal payout soon and I would wait to see if new cards are stocked Friday.

     

    Also realize it seems they are going through a transition at the moment; and while CurseForge may not have been sold, other assets were and I am sure it is crazy and or understaffed around there at the moment.

     

    Also, the forum spam was removed just before I posted this and February's PayPal payouts should go out Friday so we may see the cards restocked then.

     

    I have no idea tho, I am just an author and don't work for Curse; just reporting what I see and my experience with things.

    Shouldn't be any, but we have not been told anything. It remains to be seen is if addon authors will continue to be paid. We have not been able to get paid for over a month now, so who knows.

    Nowhere else to post this as Site Issues & Suggestions is non existent.

    I have never received any emails for comments posted on my addons. I am subscribed in CurseForge: http://wow.curseforge.com/addons/dejamark/manage-subscriptions/ All selected, all email, all live, am I doing something wrong? I have checked that I have the correct email listed and have gone through my spam email. I also get monthly emails from Curse so i am curious what else to look for.

    I am looking for whatever event fires once in game cinematics are over and close.

    I have moved the micro menu buttons and when a movie plays it gets reset to default position.


    If I do this simple movement:

    	CharacterMicroButton:ClearAllPoints()
    	CharacterMicroButton:SetPoint("CENTER",UIParent,"CENTER",0,0)
    


    Everything works fine until an in game cinematic plays. It places it back into the default position.

    I have also tried triggering itself with events:

    local function eventHandler(self, event, ...)
    	for i = 1, 1 do
    		if CharacterMicroButton then
    	CharacterMicroButton:ClearAllPoints()
    	CharacterMicroButton:SetPoint("CENTER",UIParent,"CENTER",0,0)
    		end
    	end
    end
    
    CharacterMicroButton:SetScript("OnEvent",eventHandler)
    


    Triggering outside events also trying HookScript in case it is protected:

    	CharacterMicroButton:HookScript("OnEvent", function(self, event, arg1)
    		if event == "PLAYER_LOGIN" then
    			self:ClearAllPoints()
    			self:SetPoint("CENTER",UIParent,"CENTER",0,0)
    		end
    	end)


    All to no avail.

    Any ideas anyone ? :)

    To clarify I have tried the following which is both standard fare as well as what is registered in the default micro menu frames:

    "NEUTRAL_FACTION_SELECT_RESULT"
    "UNIT_PORTRAIT_UPDATE"

    "UPDATE_SHAPESHIFT_FORMS"
    "UPDATE_STEALTH"
    "UPDATE_BONUS_ACTIONBAR"
    "PET_BATTLE_OVER"
    "PET_BATTLE_CLOSE"

    I also went through the entire Event catalog A - Z and looked for and tried anything that I thought may work either by direct reference or indirect means, short of an OnUpdate or Player Regen Enabled finagling.
